It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. When I wanted a bigger tool, I wanted to get the Milwaukee since is the best high torque. But that would have been more expensive as I would also need a new battery family. My boss has the big square ones that are 20v with 6amp hours and then the biggest ones they make are the big 20v flex volt batteries and they are 9 amp hours and right off the charger they can break stainless screws off halfway sunk! Pretty much as soon as it starts impacting the flex volt batteries bust stainless screws off....so if I was you I'd buy one of them 150-200$ batteries and use it for these tests because i honestly think you'll get better results with them!

    I've been looking at that atomic and their new battery. But then I have that aircat 1056-xl, I paid $99 CAD for it. Its small but it still doesn't have the power I need a lot of the times. The toughest nuts and bolts I deal with are suspension, brake anchor, motor mounts, crank pulley, and differential bolts. 90% of those I can get my IR2235 into those tight spots to remove. Hell my IR 2235 with a 1/2" - 3/8" universal swivel adapter will open nuts and bolts my aircat 1056-xl can't with just a straight socket on it. And then there is the speed of my IR2235. 2-3 hits from the hammer and it will loosen anything. When I need to do something simple like a tire rotation sometimes I don't even hear the hammer hit its already just spinning the lug all the way off. Even the Big Milwaukee/DeWalt 1/2" full size impacts are slower at spinning lug nuts off.

    I bought the dcf911 and it was good, I gave it to a freind who im sure ive drank at least $175 of his beer, and bought the 921. Just used it for the first time. Just lug nuts on a car, but it was noticeably faster than the 911. I never use the low setting on my dewalt high torque because its slow af, but the 1 setting on the 921 was still zippy and pretty much impossible to overtighten a customers wheel nuts. I mostly bought it to cage airbrakes when I'm towing a heavy truck because it fits in between the brake chamber and the suspension with an extra long 3/4 socket. The 911 worked great for that I'm sure the 921 will too

      I found a deal on a 923 (that's a 3/8 version of the 921), online AD for $105; and a 1.7 powerstack w/charger for $69.
      So then I'm looking for the 60lb ratchet, and stumbled on a combo deal, the 911 w/ the 12v ratchet, 2 batteries and charger for $138 at lowes.
      What am I going to do?
      Lower power 1/2 drive
      Higher power 3/8 drive.
      The 3/8 will loose torque via 1/2 adapter, so I'm thinking of a 3/8 socket set going up to 24mm. (milwaukee packout set).
      Do I keep both, or what?
      Wondering if there's any advantage to keeping the 911 1/2 drive for the sockets larger than 24mm, which will have to be in 1/2 size.

    • @juliogonzo2718
      @juliogonzo2718 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jbboozer6726 you can always use a 1/2-3/8 reducer, would lose an inch or so of compactness. To be honest I wish I had just kept the 911. The 921 is awsome but has failed to work a few times when I pulled the trigger. Lights come on but no spinny spinny. Take the battery off and wait a bit and it works again. Has happend maybe 7-8 times, and others have had the same problem. I'm still using it maybe once a week or so and still like it, but wonder if one day it'll die and not come back to life.
