That trigger design is perfect for the pop-up cameras: quick, simple and powerless.. and with the repelling magnetics if you bump the camera on something it would have a built-in shock absorber.

Impressed to see that this little fracker survived your dissection and reassembly while phones double as expensive are hard to be re-assembled without issues. I think, the company behind the Blackshark 4 did a good job also in regard of the repairability and ecologic aspects. So this phone truly deserves an award for offering good hardware for mobile gaming and repairability together with a reasonable price tag! Thumbs up for this nice phone test!
unlike gears and motors, magnets don't wear out, so it means the black shark 4's popup trigger buttons are gonna stay in shape forever. not only did black shark cut off on manufacturing costs and gave the phone a more gaming asthetic by making the triggers manual, but they also made a huge improvment over their overall durability. thumbs up black shark👍

the button design is pretty cool. it seems like sliding one magnet back so the opposite polls come into contact and causes the button to be repelled upwards. Then simply sliding the magnet forwards again aligns the polls and causes them to attract. Very cool

hello mr.jerry (zack) i believe that the "do not remove" message is not actually for the battery itself but its outer black covering which is why it isnt there on the top of the battery cuz it isnt telling you to not remove the battery, its telling you to not remove its outer covering

well the reason they don't get IP rating is not because they aren't water resistant. I believe they use the same water proofing measures as the mi devices but do not apply for the certificate. It is to save the cost of the machines used to test the phone and and applying for the IP certificate which adds to the cost and not ideal for a budget gaming device which is more dedicated towards performance
Just bought one for AUD$797, 12g+256. I reckon that's good value. Snapdragon 870 is perfect for me, less heat than 888. The durability and the solid build just a plus for me. :)

I think the camera bump should be wide and made from aluminum and those 2 copper chamber should be vented and flushed on the back of the phone with glass. The cooler would work faster that way to anticipate the heat plus without the cooler the phone would heat less by a degree or more.

The heat pipe is covered with that Aluminium foil if you look closely you will find a copper pipe under that aluminium cover

That's a nice idea but it would require a lot more space since a camera module is a bit bigger than the triggers.
