I got the original duraforce pro back in 2018 and used it until just this year. Even though I haven't used a screen protector this whole time, the screen has no scratches. It just sucks that software support for the phone was so poor; even though it was released in 2016, the last security update came right after I bought it in 2018, which meant that I was probably using a device with any and all security flaws discovered in Android since late 2018. I wish that I didn't have to choose between software obsolescence and hardware degradation.
Ive only used KYOCERA duo phones for about 5 years now. I absolutely love them. Extremely tough, my three year old tossed my last one out the car window without me knowing and it laid in the road for three hours before i knew it was gone .... checked googles where is my phone and realized where it was... panicked...and drove up just in time to see my phone get ran over by a semi! Although im sure that was not the only time it was ran over.. anyway...the plastic on the back was very damaged and came off...the battery and screen was fine. In fact after cleaning it my screen still didn't even have a scratch. The phone worked just fine for two more weeks until my replacement showed up in the mail 😂😂😂😂 so yeah im a customer for life!!! Im currently writing this on my Duo Force 2.

"scratches at level 8"
Everyone: YEAAAAAHHHHHH
I watched this video on my Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2 when it was first uploaded. Now I rewatched it 11 months later on my Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G. Not to mention that my first cellphone was a Kyocera Phantom back during my senior year of high school in 2005-2006.
Finally 😭 we all moved to the next stage atleast for a short span of time
Very short sadly
Zack's voice is so therapeutic that if he starts a podcast, I could listen to him 24x7 nonstop.
Zack, are you listening? 😉
Imagine a conversation with him and the Lock Picking Lawyer...best podcast ever
I think he has already done a podcast
@@skillz9669 By the way I am here just after watching LPL last video. :) I think these two MAN are awesome and together they could make great thinks. :)
Man I can't wait for the teardown😍😍👍
Of the wedding ring????? 🙃🙃🙃
It's like Kyocera made this thing almost "Jerry-proof". Almost.
And yet Kyocera forgot to make their phone backs scratch resistant.
But the keyword is of course, *Almost*
damn, that's a big diamond on that wedding ring. Jerry be treating his lady right 😏
Do you think giving expensive stuff to your wife is treating right 😂. Grow up kiddo.

Finally the day we have finally waited for deeper grooves at a level 9 🎂😂
It has happened already

I got the original duraforce pro back in 2018 and used it until just this year. Even though I haven't used a screen protector this whole time, the screen has no scratches. It just sucks that software support for the phone was so poor; even though it was released in 2016, the last security update came right after I bought it in 2018, which meant that I was probably using a device with any and all security flaws discovered in Android since late 2018. I wish that I didn't have to choose between software obsolescence and hardware degradation.
21st May 2021, mark the calendar, “scratches at level 8, with deeper grooves at level 9” has been uttered.
Your voice definitely makes me feel like I am learning something every time I watch your videos!
I've waited my whole life to hear that line!!!!!
Finally my ears are satisfied 🤩
3:10 oh man that’s so satisfying to hear.
Can’t wait for the day he says,
“Scratches at a level 10, with deeper grooves nowhere.”
