awesome... they were originally designed for anything other than the diesel we have nowadays .. used veg oil and all sorts of waste oil in my 1.9 td in uk and then same in my 7.3 powerstoke ..... if clean all good! people are scared to try....thanks for the vid! all my oil changes go back into my tank! perfect bro
Hi Steve. Do you mix the veg oil with petrol or regular diesel and if yes in what ratio. Some say 10 percent normal unleaded petrol, others use 20 percent regular diesel. When the temperature drops at least here in Denmark the veg oil will be too thick. Kind regards and thank you
Thanks for following! Will post an update soon. Been through fuel filters about every half tank. Lost a couple of injectors likely because of fuel starvation. Definitely a work in progress.
Have you followed The Not so grand Garage chanell or Cutterup. Both have great info. Currently im running a single tank system on my 1.9 tdi jetta. I have run 2 straight tanks of blk diesel before . Then the injectors start coking up. Then i ran diesel and diesel cleaner for a tank to clean the injectors up. Now I've been running 70 percent diesel/ 30 percent black diesel until i get my 2 tank setup done. Then i will start the car in the morning on diesel, run it for my 30 minute drive on blk diesel , then switch back to diesel for a few minutes to clean the injectors and for the next time the engine started
Loved the vid. To the point, no extra commentary. Seems to good to be true.. But thanks for causing me to look into it. I will do, if legit. All the best.
Question I have 95 f250 7.3 and 03 f350 6.0 can I run used motor oil in the fuel tank does it have to be mixed with anything.what about transmission fluid
I am currently putting mine back together after melting down a piston on 20/80. Not sure it was the cause. Going to fix it and try again. Video to come soon.
@kanemorin5438 yep. It does not hurt to do a flash test with your mix. If you can light it with a l spark alone , you're a little hot. Obviously, be careful. I have ran all kinds of stuff through a vp44 backed by a cheap 50gpm ebay special and a airdog. I now run on 12 valves and the p7100 is a different machine entirely. With the mechanical rig you literally "feel" the viscosity 😂. It accounts for a significant parasitic loss if your too thick. It gets messy. The vp44 handles the difference better because it can just tax the battery and maintain drivability..... viscosity, filtration and dry. Maintain those 3 and the world is your oyster. .5 micron and ass dry as you can get it. Your set up and location will choose your viscosity which can be reached with a solvent or thermally. Play around these things are tuff
So any update? Still issue free? Im thinking of running a centrifuge for cleaning oil and using a 10% unleaded mix. I have a source for UMO. Would love to hear your experience.

new subscriber for black diesel and glove hack please keep updates on how the 6.0 does on the black diesel

I run my oil through 2-1 micron filter bags then let it settle for a month or so. '95 7.3 with 325,000. Running strong
Great to hear! What mixture are you running?

That's a great plan. Just blew mine up. A lot of carbon buildup. Video to come soon.
Nice just out of curiosity are you getting better milage or the same since you been running home brew and is your injectors still holding on
My mileage drops a couple miles to a gallon on black. Lost a couple of injectors because of fuel starvation.

It has come with some struggles but definitely real!
i do something similar in my old gas f150. i add 1 gallon waste oil to every 9 gal gas. it only smokes a little
I think oil mixed into gasoline lowers the octane rating. It would get me much worse mpg when I experimented.

My official recommendation is to not. That said... Lots of people are. Several videos here.
So you run the oil through a filter and that’s it? I see guys using crazy multi filter pumps etc.
Those guys are the smart ones!
Hello i have question, what is better 50/50 wmo and diesel mix or 90/10 wmo and gasoline mix thx 😊
80/20 wmo and regular fuel. Gets the consistency to diesel

anyone know if
black diesel on my 2011 F350 6.7 Powerstroke ?
Any new updates? Really curious to try this on mine
Posted an update today. More to come. Officially, I would advise against it... But I am doing it so....🤷
can you tell me the filter you used? the bigger one? thank you .

how long do you use these filters before replacing?
How many miles have you been running the black diesel in the 60
I probably ran 5000 miles. Burned a hole in a piston. Just got it back on the road. Will post am update soon.
Hello can i use new oil in my diesel tank?
As well as you could use used...
Are you going to tare it down and figure out what failed when it does fail??
Oh yeah!
@@Brandonlexx1 but it wont... used it for years lol
@@Ste30h This is the Hope!
Wouldnt you be better off diluting the used oil with diesel fuel?
It's more about changing the viscosity to be more like Diesel fuel than anything else. Take a lot more diesel.
Why cut with gasoline and not kerosene or #2 diesel??
To get the oil to similar viscosity as #2 Diesel.
