The Philippines needs to amend its constitution to allow foreigners like Americans to legally buy and own real properties for agricultural, commercial, and residential purposes so that they could get mortgage financing from Philippine commercial banks and marrying Filipino citizens as a way of getting around foreign real property prohibitions will become a thing of the past.
@@23zchris If Filipino citizens are allowed to buy and own real properties in the US and Europe, then the Philippines should give the same reciprocity to the American and European citizens by allowing them to buy and own real properties in the Philippines.
No, it will not. We are a born US citizen married to my asawa living in the Philippines. It is a beautiful country and wonderful people. However, for many people, from transportation and population density and employment, many folks will just prefer the States. Also, the Philippines from a real estate perspective is not cheap. If you want a Western lifestyle in a nice community, lot prices like Nuvali Santa Rosa are 50,000 pesos per square meter. So, figure close to $300,000 USD for a 300 square meter lot, which is peanuts. That doesn't even include the cost to build. Living in the provinces is cheaper. However, services and hospitalization are major drawbacks. Many people rent and have good luck with substandard places and paying for aircon units or upgrades. Plus, inflation is here, too. Construction costs up over 30% since covid and food prices have increased.

I heard there is a new law about the tourist .. something about the immigration..
the Philippines is a good option for americans , though it has its own imperfection but the its how american the system and culture the Philippines is, english is even there 2nd language.
Agree 100%; travelled to 6 Asian countries and couldn't wait to get back to P.I due to language barrier.
Hello mate 👋
The only reason I chose the Philippines over other countries is to meet my now long term partner. Shop around and don't listen to what all the honey dew vloggers tell you; there are better choices, cheaper with a better infrastructure, and some, like Cambodia, with much easier visa. Also, consider countries in SA, which are more welcoming and much closer to home.
Please don't copy the Chinese who we just started kicking out because they almost priced us out of our own country.
Divorce is illegal, but broken families from split relationships are alive and well where male and female move on and start another family while still married in Philippines.
True, that definitely happens...
Yeah, but that means your wife can't legally drain your monthly income and cut your assets in half.
@@phoenix5054 So are you advocating not being fiscally responsible to support minor children or that he support family he may have abandoned?
Politician ruin every life on earth.
Cant own land there but can lease it dirt cheaper that my HOA fee.
I think it will drive more Americans to Mexico not the PH. It's just next door.
The PH is very, very far away. Not all people can handle those long flights.
Yea people do seem to be sensitive to flying huh

Capt trucker china is catching US debts( from some videos I had watched 18$trillion debts!that’s scary to think they will pass on to the consumers/taxpayers too!save more and go out where you comfort zone areas suited you! Good luck !
We moved back to the PI, because I can't afford to live in Amerika and I have more freedom in the PI. What I hate about the PI is the noise it drives me crazy, it stresses me out. and being hounded you are rich syndrome.
Can't afford to live in the US, but complaining about the noise. Lol, I think you need to stay in the US if YOU can't adapt.
Now this is what worries us about migration. . You have too many complaints, but you have no choice coz you cant afford the lifeatyle that you want.. So youre miserable. Now youre just spreading your negativity to the rest of the world.
All you can do is pack your bags, go home and live within your means. Live simply, be happy, and leave the Philippines alone. Thank you.
$35 trillion and counting. The government has been spending more than what it takes in year and year out. 😂
ithink america must learn some of filipino cukture not america is the best country on earrt philipine is the best people on earrht all of tourist saying that almost all
American dream 2024...flee from america and live good aboard..😅

@@Captain_Trucker As I'm Filipino, I'm absolutely annoyed towards a lot of people (opposition) criticized my country's divorce illegal law. I'm aware they don't respect my country.
Bad idea ..
Do you really want American corporations coming in and buying everything up and driving up the prices for everybody?
They absolutely should not
its not gonna happen.
Why NOT Costa Rica & Mexico? They're Closer to the U.S.A. Please do not Bastardize/Woke - the Philippines traditional culture.
Most Americans 🇺🇸 don't even know what Philippines 🇵🇭 is so probably not ㄟ(ツ)ㄏ
You know we are the 51st state lol
Do put up your foot up on that that Volvo too when nobody watching
I've never put my foot up. Find that very strange and dangerous when people do that.
The "mental illness" is what bother me the most Capt. Its disturbing
It's a real thing and some of it is just created by our lifestyles and expectations imo
