The Pro-4x is a great truck. Best seats in the industry, and no cylinder deactivation or auto start stop. Plus 5 yr 100,000 mile warranty. Never thought I'd own a Titan, but glad I decided to take a test drive. Out the door for $50k.

We test drove and almost purchased a Titan Pro-4x back in 2017 but we couldn’t order the truck in the configuration we wanted. It was something to do with Pro-4x and tow package / trailer brake controller / 6 seats not 5 seat option.
We ended up with an F150 exactly as we wanted BUT the Titan was definitely an under rated truck as far as ride comfort and quality.
And with current gas prices I don’t regret having auto S/S.

It's totally normal now to say..." this Truck/SUV costs $60K, $70K, $80K plus.." To those younger than say 20-25 (plus or minus)...it's hard to believe but these used to be the least expensive vehicles to buy....and this is why.
"It boils down to this: Americans are in love with trucks and are willing to pay more - a lot more - for pickups than for cars; and this willingness has grown in recent years. This has led to the phenomenon where profit margins for automakers are huge on pickups but slim on cars.
Ford proudly points this out at every earnings call, as it emphasizes how it’s selling ever more high-profit-margin “trucks.” Other automakers are doing the same thing. And this willingness by normally astute American consumers to pay so much for trucks and allow the manufacturer to make such FAT PROFIT MARGINS is fairly rare for a mass-produced high-volume item (the iPhone is another example)."

I have a ‘21 Titan Pro4x and was able to address the problem areas addressed in this video with some simple mods:
    1. I replaced the overly stiff Bilstein shocks with a full Fox 2.0 suspension. It gave me 2” of front lift (helps the poor approach angle) and rides soo much better on road and off. I added some SPC upper control arms to correct the alignment as well. Cost: $1600.
    2. I swapped the 275/70-18 General Grabbers for some 295/70-18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts. Not only am I now on a 34.5” tire, but the MTs grip so much better in all conditions.

Every time I watch TFL videos on trucks, I'm amazed at how little they know about the trucks they are testing. Even more amazed that they are not very knowledgeable about basic mechanical functions. It's like they went to Starbucks and got Subaru drivers to do off road tests. For example, he barely bumped the steel P4X skid plate and stopped, yet he drug the plastic lip on the RAM and kept going. Also, all Titans have open diffs with ABLS and the P4X has the e-locker. Ram has a traditional LSD, so of course it' going to work better without the P4X's locker being turned on. He didn't even mention that.

the ram rides smoother than Nissan Because the ram has weak coil over Springs under the rear thus 4th making a smoother rid the Titan has leaf over springs on the rear no brainer but the longevity of the leaf over system is far superior if you don't think so look at all the trucks on the road that have 300+ on them and never replaced a leaf on the spring pack.. think about it every time you do struts on a suv that has 100k on it it's better off to replace the hole strut assembly then to reuse the old spring from the old one thay are usually already weak

The deployable sidesteps are the best of both worlds. Even without a lift the step-in height for 4x4 full size trucks is too tall for smaller women, kids or elders. For the money they're asking for these trucks deployable steps should be offered farther down the trim levels.
