About a year ago, I transferred several years worth of pictures and videos from my phone to my computer to free up storage on my older iPad because my grandson loved making silly videos (the devices sync) and I wasn't able to add any more storage to the iPad. I spent hours doing that, then more hours backing them up to a thumb drive in case the computer died because I didn't realize that taking them off of my phone would also take them off of the Cloud. He no longer makes videos and I've been trying to figure out how to put everything back on my phone. You helped make it simple and fast! And I'm thrilled that everything went back on my phone in the date order of when the pictures/videos were taken.
Jada Giddings I figured it out! First after you have downloaded just tap on it and then it should play and then press the share the share button and it should say save video I hope This helped

What I did was email the files to myself and from my phone I just saved them to my camera roll. Not sure if there are any down sides to this, but it worked for me. Felt like Einstein, but also gave my myself a smack on the head LOL. Have a great day and hopefully this works for you guys too.

I've been attempting to clear up issues with my moms iPhone when my brother thought he would get creative and put his Apple ID on her iPad back about a year and a half ago. He switched it back to her email address and basically lost the ability to log into that secondary Apple ID/Email. Long and the short, I've been pulling pictures and videos off the cloud account for the phantom Apple ID and moving them over to her true Apple ID. Pictures were easy enough to drag over, however, for the life of me I could not figure out how to get the video files back to her iPad. I see now how I can pass them to the iCloud, open it on the device, then save it to the camera roll (which makes access much easier for my 80yo mom). Thanks again for all your help through the channel.
when i see the video in my files folder whenever i try to tap it, it says “you can’t save the file (name) because the volume ‘data’ is out of space”. can i get some help?
This doesn't work for me after I upload the file to iCloud when I click on it downloads back into the download folder on my computer. I have been trying to work this out for years! Nothing works! :(

I'm trying to become a gaming channel, and i used to use this drive to transfer my videos (free version) but i have the free version and on that version there's a limit to download, and i got upset, all i need is a mic which i'll try to get for chistmas to become a GOOD cahnnel!

If you get a Android smart phone you just plug it in and drag and drop.
