What a lifesaver? I have been trying to transfer via cable to PC using the 'Photos' app on the PC and it's taking SO MUCH TIME to transfer couple of photos. Some of them are also corrupted- for example, some photos have grey areas that looks like they're not loading well. The first one worked for me :D Thank you so much!
None of this worked for me, but appreciate the effort. I wanted to do this for a TH-cam video of mine that was very important but thanks for the effort ❤😂🎉
MAAAAAAN! You're an ANGEL! THE FILE OPTION WORKED FOR ME!!! After having struggeld for 8 years with this issue! finally I found a SOLUTION that WORKS! Thanks man! Jazakallahu Khairan

The maximum file size you can transfer with an i-phone is a major issue that nobody ever talks about. I recorded a 2 gig video file the other day and there is no way I can copy this over to PC, its impossible. The only potential way to do it is to edit and split the video... thoughts on this please?
What about transferring the 2gb video to a Samsung T7 SSD and then transferring the 2gb video from the SSD to the PC? I realize that's 2 steps but it should work. The iPhone shouldn't have a problem writing something that size to a Samsung T7 SSD.
@@thomza you cannot transfer that file size off an iphone in any means...doesnt work, trust me ive spent hours try work arounds they dont exist as far as i am aware
I transfer my videos which are 2 to 4 gig from my iPad to my PC using an iCloud link that I email to myself. Once you click on the email link, It may take a few minutes for the video file to be available for download depending on the speed of your Internet. Once it’s available, you just click the download button and it saves right to the PC wherever you tell it to save your video file.
hello! I just transfered a video which is 4gb on to my PC, probably 7 videos of that size and it worked. I used the cable to PC method. I'm sorry it's not working for you but have you done the thing in Settings where you click "Keep Original"?
I just bought the latest iPad Pro with the M2 chip and I was able to transfer a 9GB video from the iPad to a Samsung T7 SSD with no problem. The reverse worked as well. I was also able to send that 9GB video from the iPad to Google Drive with no issues.
@@PrimalVideohi again I saved a video through vcl and it worked but I’ve tried again and now it’s not coming up with save video ? Do u know how to fix that
Thank you so much for making this video. I recently got back from a trip to Japan and was having difficultly moving the videos on my phone to my laptop. This video helped me greatly.
Thanks for this video! Very helpful to know before I dive into making content with my phone. I know I’m going to still make mistakes and learn, but knowing these little details of “keep original” settings will help! 👍🏻
Very helpful but I have a big problem, and watching your complete tutorial, it's not mentioned. When transferring a video to a PC the file type changes from Apple's "HEVC" file type, to an "MOV" file type (degrading the file not to mention trans-coding it to MP4 will degrade it more). Additionally, the only time appeared to transfer as a MPEG file was when you transferred it from the cloud. Is there a lossless way to transfer the APPLE file type "HEVC" (HEIF for photos) to a PC? Btw, all of my video software will not recognize HEVC files and this IPhone is useless to me if I can't make videos for something only as small as a little camera. Any input would help. Thank you.
I'm having the same issue. The colors of the .MOV video files are all messed up. Please lmk if you find a solution. Should I shoot as JPG on my phone? I'd rather not to save storage space but if I want to save vids from my iPhone 15 pro max to Windows, is this the only option?
what i did is use the photos app on windows (it was a fkn headache) and that seemed to transfer them in native apple formats. i do have to use a free 3rd party app to open them unless you want to pay $0.99 for a HEVC codec on windows. the free app (Real HEIC File Viewer) works fine and doesn’t require a subscription either. if that doesn’t work for you too then i wish you luck man :/
@@claudiaeric8789brother go to settings on your apple then go to photos then go all the way down and click on ‘keep original’ to keep the original file when downloading. Lmk if it worked it worked for me
