In my experience, Revolut has offered lower fees than Wise but not during the weekend (talking about paying abroad in another currency). That being said my Revolut card didn't work in Brazil (credito or debito made no difference) and couldn't even withdraw money with it, whereas I had no problem with Wise
Revolut needs tax information number even from house wives who do not work , ridiculous ! Its been a year that i am using it , and twice i have received treats of closing the account if i do not provide a tax number . They seem not to understand the customer situation !!
Hey bro I’m a student and they have been asking me to provide my tax number although I don’t have it, I need this account to survive do you know what should I do, cheers
Yes, you can. In the app or on the website, you can just click on the add money button in that balance you want to add money to. You can add via card, or bank transfer. Its worth noting that getting account details for your Wise account can make the process simpler.
Revolut is better.. Wise has unfortunately lack of Wisdom To they will close your account while your traveling and not bother to explain Choose wisely go with Revolut.
Great video, still a little stuck on getting what card? So I am from New Zealand and will be traveling to Europe and the UK for 1 month with some family. We would like to get a card that we can deposit NZD and pay and Withdraw money with their currency so £ and €. We probably mainly use the card itself to pay for essentials items such as food and accommodation. What card would you recommend I get wise or revolut ?
Wise. You don’t have to pay a 1% FX surcharge when you convert your currency during the weekend on their app. You also don’t have to pay the surcharge if Wise automatically converts it for you when you make purchases at Point of Sale terminals or withdraw cash at ATMs during the weekend (UK Time Zone). With Revolut, there’s always a 1% FX surcharge when the conversion occurs in the weekend.
Wise locks accounts with no reason explanation. Sooner rather than later you'll get ripped and left with no money for living. I have a very bad experience of using wise.
It's been 7 working days I sent 4500€ to my Wise account but still not seen the money on my Wise balance. Called my bank, and they said they've sent the money since last Thursday. Yall be careful while using Wise. They can leave you stranded
Hey bro I think revolut is better. With revolut you can purchase crypto with a third party support but with wise bank, you can't do that still can't even purchase on binance. That's crazy
I work as an Internet Broker in World trade. Is there a maximum yearly amount I can deposit? For example 250 million in six month tranches of 350 thousand?

I've been using Wise since 2015 and never been disappointed only the drawdown is the fees which are sometimes higher but for the speed that's good 😊
Yep, and yet again they just increased the fees for certain currencies
Hi, I have had WISE for over 5 years and now I have purchased a Revolut card....having both is ideal...
Revolut doesn't have Canada in their list for some reason!

@@marwanzarkani2716 Who are "they" ? ("They" who ask for your tax number.)
Can you top-up WIze account using debit/credit card? I can't find this information anywhere.

@@MrJakeDC Thank you for the response. So it's the same like Revolut.

Very helpful for me. Thank you. Appreciate it bro
Wise can send money in EIH ?
I have had both and WISE is far better in my eyes as it really works with my bank seamlessly!

Can't trust Wise
wise doesn’t like crypto
U cant send money from kucoin or another exchange to it without problem?
Revolut needs tax information even though there are no taxes where I live!! They disabled my account for no reason
so you lost all your money?
No, I didn’t put money in that account. It just kept asked me about my tax number, so I deleted it and deactivated my account
Revolut is known to often wrongly block accounts... Better not to keep much money there, just what you need in the immediate timw
@@diegoyuiop the same goes for Wise. Some friends switched to Revolut and some preferred Wise. Depends on luck and experiences
@@radenakbar8666 I guess you need to have both then
Wise all the way
Very informative video! Thank you

did that really happen to you?
How can this just happen?
Fake

VIVID did the same.
Right but can you use wise to purchase steam games in argentina?
Why can't you? It's just a debt card
The wise card works anywhere to see the Visa logo, unless specifically mentioned on their website/help centre.
