He’s moving to my city in a few months and I’m stoked to check this badass car out.
A mini venom gt lol
Well a Venom GT is legally a Lotus Elise and registered as a Lotus Elise so...
Wtf is a vemon?? Lol
FATBOYHTOWN HOLITDOWN look up hennessy venom gt
@@luisdiaz2507 Hennessey * yes I know what a venom is not a vemon lol. Its has a pos chevy engine in it
A mini venom that hasn't got parts ripped off by Hennessy lmao
Good Engine with Great Handling. That's a masterpiece right there...
A supercharged K24 with the VTEC engaged permanently would definitely be insane!
Locked VTEC?
@@aftrnoon_ac yes 👍
Mr. D hmmm... is it good or bad?
Bad. You lose bottom end with the vtec engaged as you are on the high profile lobe.
@@aftrnoon_ac when you are 700 hp, no reason to maintain the economy of a non-vtec. Might as well keep the vtec on all the time.
Mannnnnnnn. That shit is so clean. I think the Lotus is so under rated. Put in a motor like this and sky is the limit.
"Oh yeah that turbo is a little bigger than I wanted, but it works" lol yeah right cool guy.
Should totaly put a roof scoop to the air box and cooling sysyems on this thing
I noticed he gave zero credit to actually built that car? Acting like he did all the work. The real mastermind behind this beast is Kyle Clark.👍🏻
I have credited him a million times over the past year of owning the car, and I’ve also done lot to get the car running. I never once said I built the car originally, and it wasn’t just “seats, axles, and tune” as I was told when I bought the car from him because that wasn’t even close. Had to redo the coolant system, lots of wiring, pull the engine/trans because trans casing was crack and replaced thrust bearings due to some movement with the crank, new accessories such as the boost controller and vtec solenoid because they weren’t working at all, new wheels and tires, new seats and harnesses, axles, bleed the brakes and clutch, then get the car started and tuned, etc. Yeah he may have built the car beforehand which I was thankful for and anybody would have jumped on it for the price I paid for it, but at some point I shouldn’t have to continue to keep crediting him when I’ve done plenty of work to it and will continue to do so. Everyone that knows me personally knows that I bought the car unfinished and finished it up nor do I tell anybody I did all the originally work he did, but those same people know how much had money and time I’ve had to put into the car too.
That kid that didnt do his homework on the research assignment so just starts making shit up
@@christopherspencer6408 looks more like 450 whp
Damn dude, the lotus is a track car. Like a road racing track car. TRC didn't ask if he has taken it to a track.
Does Chris have a TH-cam channel? I would love to see more videos of Chris (him,he and) his awesome car.
Perfect car !!!!!😍
K-swap will never let you down, no matter what
Owner was acting like he built it
Gus Kelman i mean he paid his hard earned money for it
the guys who built it probably act like they engineered it
James Hoffmann I do t act like anything, just a guy in my garage that owned and built the car. 🤷🏼♂️ wasnt “guys” just this guy
@@Gkc1231 willing to bet he had a list to read off of for all the specs, thus the sunglasses. This was hard to watch with how smug he was, giving zero credit to you. I know you aren't the type to look for it but it's still douchey.
Jim Jaros it’s all good man. A lot of what was stated is incorrect info
This guy's excitement is overwhelming...
Would be nice to also know how much they spend on their builds. I’m always curious.
Hit up Kyle Clark..he’s the one who built it and then sold it to this dude
@@comfythug6905 that is very interesting information. It would be a better treat to hear about this car from the original builder.
Mr. D that and maybe give my man a shoutout “shelf parts” 😂
leebog31 more than I can afford? Lol!
SICK ASF build, Congrats!!!
The tachometer doesn’t work 😱
Don't need one when you have 👂
Wyatt Chilton when your motor costs 20k yes.
He has HUD on his Ray Ban lens🤣
Love Elise's, such a cool frign car. The evora 400S with the camry motors are super awesome too. Best sounding car ever
PFI TUNE 🔥 🔥 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Sorry this car is a deep camp tuned. Not pfi
Oh wow another one this is awesome. I happen to see another one driven by Misha in the Nordshleife 😮
I'm ready for my ride now. Lol 🤙
The size of the car, the 4 cylinder and the position of the engine make me see this as a modern MR2
Kyle should of never sold that car ... But a lot time into building that car to just sell it
Ok I knew I wasn’t crazy I seen this car before with a different person profile on Facebook.
When you get the right offer you sell it just like the black widow supra that dude sold it almost double that he spent on the car
Great build! I live in Denver, but hope to run into this car someday--gotta see it in person! Shout out to Schmuck Built too, he's gotta a beautifully put together blue S2K and his work shines on this car as well!
You need to invest in some decent microphones bro, can hardly hear what the dude is saying and loads of wind noise and with 1.2 million subs I'd expect better
Need to not do an interview under a freaking overpass.
Expect lol
Sick little sled, always loved Lotus cars light and handling up the wazoo
7:20 why did he overtake on the inside?
Martini von cointreau Especially when the guy in front of him had his blinker on. Dumb.
Who cares
No such thing as the inside in USA, not sure where you're from but the states is pretty backwards, overtake lane doesn't exist.
@@doueven Wow, as a European that sounds nuts!
@@purplehazenilsp yeah dude, I'm in Aus. When I drove in the states it was pretty frustrating. Although in Aus it's not illegal to undertake in the technically slower lane. It's illegal to hang in the overtake lane and not overtake
favorite car from TRC so far
A lotus elise is certainly cute. A lotus lf1 with a Magnus 4G63 will certainly be tits!
The K24 is superior to the 4G63 in every way
@@harryazzole7814 A: This is a K20. B: 4G63 are more reliable at 800hp+ no doubt.
@UCkUTHCsl8ujVeaDvrws-iZA K series heads are much more efficient. But if I'm building a high horsepower street car and I want it to last I'd take a 4G any day
@@AJMangino I don't agree at all. In 3 short years Honda's in both the K20 and K24 category have snatched every record that any 4G63 Evo held. AWD Honda's came with 7s right out of the gate, something that took 4G63s the better part of 2 decades. A K20 is also built on the same block as the K24, the only real differences being deck height and bore x stroke. Both Ks will and have hit 700hp+ unopened, many times over. The K24/K20 is the ONLY 4 cylinder engine in the world capable of handling 1000hp on stock sleeves.
@@harryazzole7814 snatched every record that 4g63 ever had? You sound like a moron. Please show us your source.
Getting to see this in person on an almost weekly basis is a blessing. Almost something new to analyze each time.
