As an old-school rod builder with 4 cars with early hemis, it was a joy to see the use of early Ford donut motor mounts in use on this new-school hot rod. Bravo from me on Kent Island.
I was cheering for this all the way. I don't know how you feel, but for me, 700hp out of 2 liters with stock head, pistons and cams is impressive. I had a new silver '95 RX-7 that I bought as it rolled off the truck into the dealership. I'd had a Gen 2 RX-7 and was considering a gen 3 (the one that looked like a Camaro), so I was a fan of the rotary engine, but also familiar with its drawbacks. Eventually, I sold it but had a lot of fun 'til then. Hope you enjoy this one, too.
Great builds! toke pictures of the 3 Scraplife Rx-7s in that Racemotive event couple days back..saw this K series one smoke coming out from the rear area/tires? while on track what happened? Hope everything was fine! More power to you guys!
nice but you could have just bought an elantra N. I owned an RX7 for 15 years and an RX8 for about 10 years but fixing something or modifying on the weekend got tedious. I have an electric mini cooper SE atm, sold my 124 spider few years ago.
@@tim1jz it's alright (of course) - I just have never seen someone do that. As a mouse user I can't say much about trackpad. But I would argue that reaching the top of the application is more difficult in your case since the screen now doesn't end there and you have to slow down movements in order to not run into the task bar when you want to interact with your application. Still funny to see such a setup. Anyway. Keep up the great work! I really enjoy all of your scrap life channels and videos. You guys are so knowledgeable that every video makes me want to work on cars as well. All the best to you and the rest of your team!
RX7's have great styling. Those rotary engines absolutely suck though. I had a 1993. Engine blew up at 73k miles. That car must be pretty cool to drive with a K-Series Honda engine and a turbo. And holy CRAP!, 670 HP!?! The Honda K2.0 usually only does 150-200HP in an Acura RSX. Nice job!
@user-zh8xu8ty8w the K20 is way more reliable and easier to work on. the Wankel engines are known as disposable. Wankel rotary is actually really inefficient, it leaks fuel and air past the spark plugs as it spins which is why they get really horrible gas mileage and eat spot fuel out of the exhaust like crazy. they spin super smooth and sound good though...
The juke! Gosh darn I almost forgot about the thing! Why don't you stop screwing around with all these same cars I can go watch on west coaster car TH-cam and get that juke back on top of content where it belongs!
We had a great time having y'all at the shop! 🤘
You guys are awesome! Doin amazing things
The best in the game to bad I am in AZ
I was expecting a heavy cam lol

Finally a content that tells a whole detail of how to kswap an FD rx7, you guys are dope 🔥
I love that era of RX-7! I'd love to see you get the body work done and give that thing an awesome paint job.
It really is one of the most beautiful cars ever to be made. Timeless.
Killer build, definitely recommend valve springs. It will 100% float a valve with limiter bashing at that power level
Imagine a 4 Piston Head on this Setup! Easily could go 800hp+ With Built Head
Yessir def great seeing you this past weekend!
I was so surprised to see this swap in a RX7 when I was at the shootout. Such a cool build.
GREAT video guys! I love this type of content!
I don’t understand how you guys don’t have more views, and subs. This is quality car content, and I love to see it! Great build, and great job!
The editing is meh and they have no personality and only talk in formulaic youtuber
This is gonna be my favorite build yet.
Your team definitely deserves a network TV show.
The perfect RX7 ; the beauty of the RX7 with the reliability of Honda K20. 😍
It was a hard choice between you and adam lz... But I choose yall😂 love what yall do, yall always make my day better
This was a cool build. Get the body work done and that's a fantastic car.
You need a Boostboiz plug cover for that cam cover 😊
love the intercoolers short runs
changing a alternator on a 2007 civic si is a pain in the ass.... just have to straighten the motor out 🤣
I have a k24a in my 07 si and love it.
@@mikellewis2346 how hard was the swap?
posting this while i’m on a road trip is a blessing😂🤞
Street outlaw stars have been on that dyno . Murder nova and Daddy Dave for sure .
I just stumbled across your channel saw this content now I'm hooked!
Absolutely amaizing build
I like your new mechanic seems to know his shit and chill as hell
Thanks! Keeping it real day by day.
@@tim1jzyou aren’t the new guy. You are the man!👌

"complete smokeshow" -> "its maybe rubbing a little bit" xD
Coming from facebook marketplace. Great channel nad nice build.
Awesome…great job sir … very bravo 🙌
Hey the guy Tim you have seems to be a good mechanic
Thanks bud! I try!
I bet it was awesome to be at FuelTech 🙌🏻
Very Impressive instillation well done guys 👌…but…thinking it might need a Flux capacitor to finish it properly 🤔
Nice Swap 😊 But my idea one is to bild a K24 turbo kkk 😅😅
Dang bro. That’s amazing 👍
Nice build but i prefer the brap brap of a rotary
Found you through marketplace lol nice car
Fugg the Joke! This is God-tier content.
Cool build but if yall kept the rotary engine what setup would yall put on it?
awesome vid🔥🔥
Can't believe your selling this thing after all this work! Might just follow suit with a K swap myself. The rotary life is getting old ha.
Great build and potential!
But I'm still going to subscribe because i liked your energy.
Fill those coolant holes in yhe block so if the head lifts it wont bleed and hydrolock
nice but you could have just bought an elantra N.
I owned an RX7 for 15 years and an RX8 for about 10 years but fixing something or modifying on the weekend got tedious.

Great video
There definitely will be people looking to buy this.
12:11 Which monster has his task bar at the top of the screen?!
That's me! Only on laptops. Trackpad efficiency. Name an application that doesn't have its "control panel" at the top. Makes navigation much quicker.

You guys structurally chopped up that body you really expected to perform on a circuit track and the handling be perfect you crazy
Cool build...that nose begs for a v10 twin turbo though
Nothing better than a tune at fueltech
I like this build now ive seen 2 k20 rx7s the other is built by gears and gasoline
Drag cartel 3.2 cams, Ferrera valve springs and retainers.
May be interested if your looking to sell. Where will you list it?
Wild to be pushing a bone stock cylinder head into those numbers, dropping a valve would not be ideal for that built block 😮
Reliable engine?
Good job.
this is awesome, but i dont understand why ecu companies like haltech refuse to make a thin, good sized, well designed display.
Always wanted to k swap an rx7
I was wrong about dalt i like him just fine lol
Rotary engines sound so cool. It's sad they have so many reliability issues especially when boosted
What oil weight are you running, thanks
So I know you guys use Fuel tech but what fuel lines are you running?
I fell asleep watching last night. I am watching it again now.. 2 views baby!!
Car wud been so much better with a modern turbo , it was not too big for the engine it’s simply just not an efficient unit
Yeah throw an NSX engine in there... That makes perfect sense to me
This is an awesome build. I'd buy it if I had 40k.
You could always go with manual brakes and get rid of the power booster. 4:06

Why Did He Drill The Valve Cover?
You might be the first person I’ve ever heard say you got too much power from a k20 😂.
did he say shootout?
Heck yeah I thought it the mustang build
when in doubt... MORE BOOST!
should have done this but with an ls7 but also in a miata instead rx7
670 on 30psi seems kinda off to me. I’d take it to a Honda specialist, they’d get a lot more power out of it and possibly a better tune
The Juke is back...I HATE NISSAN JUKES!
Best way to fix a Mazda good choice.
Do a billet timing gear and pin from drag cartel or else it will break
I approve this message.
28:51 Is that your LS RX-7? Are you making another video on it or what?
I thought they posted that build already.
Wis-e-co pistons? 🤣 Glad the project turned out well.
Did it sell?
I’d be pissed if all power it made was that with built engine. My k20 in my si with stock block an some head work makes 550. Something seems off.
The built engine doesn’t add power directly. It just allows power to be made more reliably.
How much will you sell it fam
This hurts more than all the LS swaps combined honestly lol
How much you thinking about selling it for?
35k
what is the weight of the rx7?
Scraplife Garage Master Frankenstein Car Hard Tuned Builds Never Disappoint.
Your front tires on backwards
Now all you need is to put back the Rotary engine.
What’s the name of the wheels
I'm sure a lot of RX7 purists are mad but a light weight K20 is just a better option 👍🏽
@user-zh8xu8ty8w the K20 is way more reliable and easier to work on. the Wankel engines are known as disposable. My guess was 530 hp not to far off
you should name it "monzda" like monster but from mazda and honda.
What size turbo ?
You guys finally had enough of putting v10's and v8's put into everything? 😂
Why did you do that?
The juke! Gosh darn I almost forgot about the thing! Why don't you stop screwing around with all these same cars I can go watch on west coaster car TH-cam and get that juke back on top of content where it belongs!
Ok I saw the FuelTec video so I will skip through.
because Racecar!
I am so much more a fan of the K20 than the K24. Revving to 8500 RPM on stock valvetrain is epic and it makes every gear so much longer.
i still dont understan why people need tochop the fire wall
