Love your videos Christine but if you are highly food sensitive then even the foods you suggest to detox can be problematic, particularly oranges and sweet potatoes. The only way to find out if you are allergic to foods is to muscle test through kinesiology and eliminate those foods from your diet.

+Alina Danilchenko gir, we in the same boat. i'm vegan, and i still get acne regularly. but, it's not fat that's causing it. in fact, through experimentation i've learned it's better i eat a bit of fat every single day. when i practically cut fats from my diet i was experiencing mental fogginess and concentration issues. also, i wasn't satiated and kept craving "something" though i was physically full. life's much better now i eat them. there are so many factors that contribute to skin health. now i am wondering if i have low stomach acid. also, there's stress and not getting sleep regularly which regulates hormones (and, of course, if they're out of whack your skin could suffer the consequences). however, i am pretty convinced digestion is the culprit. i've always had stomach issues even since i was less than a year old and i think because my body doesn't process food well, it comes out through my skin. anyway, it's something i think about often haha, and am always working on, but i'm not going to stop living life because of it. you shouldn't either : ) best wishes ~~~ !

I love how you make everything you eat look so great and I completley agree that a colorful diet is good for you. But be careful with the mushrooms, they are not supposed to be eaten raw. They contain a toxin that is not good for you and this toxin is reduced when the mushrooms are cooked. Even when they are cooked you should not eat too much.

I've had psoriasis for years but since giving up meat and a lot of processed food I haven't had a flare up in over 2 years. But this weekend I celebrated new years with my family and drank a soda and the next day my psoriasis flared up badly, which for me is by my hairline on the back of my neck and underneath my bottom lip on my chin. So I'm going to be taking the next few days to do a detox with lots of fruits and veggies also.
A juicer takes out all the fiber, it's better to use an extractor. I use a nutribullet and nothing goes to waste. Because you juice a lot have you considered a Blendtec?

Interesting video & such helpful info! I'm currently suffering the after affects of a wicked bad hives breakout from just a few sips of red wine last night & today my skin still hurts so bad, even my hair brushing against the patches hurt! I decided to watch this video hoping for some pointers/info I hadn't thought of even though the "events" are different & while I'm doing other things to soothe my skin today, I think I'll try a diet detox along these lines to help heal inside, too, because I'm kinda feeling like I need to detox everything after such a painful occurrence --only the second ever breakout of hives I've ever had & this was SO MUCH WORSE than the first time. So thanks for the inspiration! I would also very much love to see another video with more info on where your breakouts occur & what trigger foods you have; it might help me figure out some of my breakout issues that pop up.

All of my groceries were natural, non-gmo, organic and etc. I had seafood here and there, it is easier to prep because I had a busy job. I noticed my scares and acne disappeared fast. That summer was the first time that I stuck with the diet. So it's winter now, no one I know are vegan or vegetarian. When I get invited to diner I don't want to feel rude not eating what they made. My families and friends just buy affordable food to save money. 😔I'm starting to get a some acne again and I gained about 8lbs. from deserts over the holidays. I'm planning on going to Oregon for a few months!😆

Christine...this diet is for a tropical climate where you live. Indigenous and in season is the critical factor for diets. These fruits would not be appropriate for a ...say...Seattle climate. These are all very cooling, yin foods.

+Alina Danilchenko gir, we in the same boat. i'm vegan, and i still get acne regularly. but, it's not fat that's causing it. in fact, through experimentation i've learned it's better i eat a bit of fat every single day. when i practically cut fats from my diet i was experiencing mental fogginess and concentration issues. also, i wasn't satiated and kept craving "something" though i was physically full. life's much better now i eat them. there are so many factors that contribute to skin health. now i am wondering if i have low stomach acid. also, there's stress and not getting sleep regularly which regulates hormones (and, of course, if they're out of whack your skin could suffer the consequences). however, i am pretty convinced digestion is the culprit. i've always had stomach issues even since i was less than a year old and i think because my body doesn't process food well, it comes out through my skin. anyway, it's something i think about often haha, and am always working on, but i'm not going to stop living life because of it. you shouldn't either : ) best wishes ~~~ !

I love how you make everything you eat look so great and I completley agree that a colorful diet is good for you. But be careful with the mushrooms, they are not supposed to be eaten raw. They contain a toxin that is not good for you and this toxin is reduced when the mushrooms are cooked. Even when they are cooked you should not eat too much.

I've had psoriasis for years but since giving up meat and a lot of processed food I haven't had a flare up in over 2 years. But this weekend I celebrated new years with my family and drank a soda and the next day my psoriasis flared up badly, which for me is by my hairline on the back of my neck and underneath my bottom lip on my chin. So I'm going to be taking the next few days to do a detox with lots of fruits and veggies also.

A juicer takes out all the fiber, it's better to use an extractor. I use a nutribullet and nothing goes to waste. Because you juice a lot have you considered a Blendtec?

Thanks for the advice on how to help prevent acne. I fell off the wagon and been craving alot off sweets lately. And now I'm seeing bumps appear on face. Interesting video & such helpful info! I'm currently suffering the after affects of a wicked bad hives breakout from just a few sips of red wine last night & today my skin still hurts so bad, even my hair brushing against the patches hurt! I decided to watch this video hoping for some pointers/info I hadn't thought of even though the "events" are different & while I'm doing other things to soothe my skin today, I think I'll try a diet detox along these lines to help heal inside, too, because I'm kinda feeling like I need to detox everything after such a painful occurrence --only the second ever breakout of hives I've ever had & this was SO MUCH WORSE than the first time. So thanks for the inspiration! I would also very much love to see another video with more info on where your breakouts occur & what trigger foods you have; it might help me figure out some of my breakout issues that pop up.
With red wine, look into histamine or sulphite sensitivity.

@Christine Kobzeff So true! I ate more raw veggies and fruits over the summer of 2015. All of my groceries were natural, non-gmo, organic and etc. I had seafood here and there, it is easier to prep because I had a busy job. I noticed my scares and acne disappeared fast. That summer was the first time that I stuck with the diet. So it's winter now, no one I know are vegan or vegetarian. When I get invited to diner I don't want to feel rude not eating what they made. My families and friends just buy affordable food to save money. 😔I'm starting to get a some acne again and I gained about 8lbs. from deserts over the holidays. I'm planning on going to Oregon for a few months!😆

I recently discovered COFFEE is does bad mojo on my face. It causes the underjaw/neck breakouts and since cutting it out 6 weeks ago, acne in that area is gone! Christine...this diet is for a tropical climate where you live. Indigenous and in season is the critical factor for diets. These fruits would not be appropriate for a ...say...Seattle climate. These are all very cooling, yin foods.
