Hey there all you beautiful people how are you all on this lovely day? Now today I show what can be made from scrap crap that was metal detectored and dug out of the dirt and with just a bit of time and effort (and a furnace) you can make some real treasure. It's crazy to think this would've been in the dirt forever if me and my friend hadn't of come along but now it sits proudly up on my shelf for everyone to enjoy. A nice mirrored bar & a little Egyptian plaque for the stack today so sit back take a load off and enjoy today's video. Have an awesome safe weekend and I hope to see you all next Friday😃👋🏻

22:53 is a great demonstration of how plate tectonics works.
Convection drives the crust on the surface, constantly creating new crust as well as subducting it back in the mix in other areas. The places it piles up against the edge of the crucible is how mountains are formed. Where the plates collide.

I love your videos - I look forward to them every week! May I recommend when you make your molds and create the pour holes, carve a small funnel shape around them with a knife or trowel to make it easier to pour your metal into? I've seen this on other channels, seems to help make pours go smoother.

Got quite a chuckle when you showed the artifact at the 3;18 minute mark. I've seen a number of these before here in Canada. They were made from old gas light fittings and were used as a 'special purpose' pipe. Its a coincidence I'm sure, but it is also 38 C here in Canada, minus 38 C that is. Been watching your vid's for a few months now, enjoy them, and have learned a lot.

Putting the mirror finish gave it a more machined look. I stamped and did just a light clean up. Very happy I had your content to look back on. Very happy to have all the hints and tips you give and resources you provided. Thank you so very much. Keep going!!! Does your handle on your furnace get too hot for your gloves?? Fantastic melting, as per usual. I do wonder about washing the metals that are dug up and such. Put them in a 5 gallon bucket with some steel balls and water then tumble or shake the bucket. Just trying to reduce the enormous amount of slag that comes with those types of meltdowns.
