- I spent pretty much a full day driving the S2000 to see what I like and don't like about it.
It is actually pretty close to a Honda Performance type build.
It's very well balanced and drives nice, it's very quiet and have plenty of power. The overall feel is 95%.
The turbo kit is very good and has lots of mid range useable power. I don't think we're going to produce it as it doesn't really have a place. It makes 400ish at around 13 psi.
I do have plans to build and design another turbo kit and use our car to build and test it on this car, so look out for it when time permits.

You guys should definitely make this turbo kit and sell it.. the OEM plus feel and look is great.. i feel this kit will have no heating probleme at all on the engine bay..

Wow that paint match is amazing! Only thing I would add to the mods for OEM+ are Honda Acess S2000 premium floor mats and some color matched side strakes!

When you said the "hardtop tends to stay there" you must have been looking at my life the past 5 years, 🤣. I just removed the hardtop because this year I told my self if would enjoy an open top again, lol!

Love the Mugen replica wheels. They are one of my favorite wheels. Wish Mita made them in 4x100. I know Rota make some that are similar in 4x100

This is one of the best builds I've seen for an S2000. Similar to how I'd do it. I don't see myself making a car too powerful for its chassis.
Wow John your the man, I was supposed to contact you about a supercharger on my AP2 since you pretty much can do superchargers with your eyes closed, now I’m breaking my head about a turbo 😂. Great video. Thanks.

Did doing the split cat after the 3” down pipe help with air flow restriction?
Man I wish I would have seen this wheel company when I had my AP2. I love their OEM+ models.
Love the build. I know this is quite out of left filed but I always thought a gated shifter in a s2k would be so cool. The gearbox is fantastic but feel the gate would really make it next level.

Do you know whichh seat rails would be fit in the s2k, if i want install my recaro spj/is2000 into it?
I think Corbeau make a seat rail to fit the S2000. And it should be close enough to fit the Recaro seat.

Wow nice. Yes I love the s2k in stock form. I a huge turbo guy so thats what I want to do at one point. Mine is a 2005 S2000 all stock. Yes I love the quite exhaust

No modifications needed. I don’t like rolling fenders.

What turbo and manifold is it running?
@@zVlPERz We customer built a shorty manifold and the turbo is a GT25-660
Did you have to roll your fenders to run 255s? I have MITA V3s and they recommended 245s to avoid rubbing. I'd like to go to 255s so I can run Cup 240s.
No rolling fenders, no rubbing. 225 front and 255 rear. Staggered set up

Prices have actually dropped since the 2021. Now is definitely the time to get one.

I think this might be the last good time to buy one. I’ve owned and watched S2000s since the beginning and seen the pricing fluctuate. As cara become more lame , electric, auto and self driving, tue desire for a true affordable sports car will still in demand.
@@Criam The MX5 is cool, but you cannot compare these cars. Honda is always a better engineered car.

Silver = '04 '05. Black ='06 and beyond. Older parts will bolt on

how does a dyno tune help a car. What is the function/purpose of a dyno tune?
The dyno is a tool allowing the car to be in a safe state and repeatable runs.
Great build!👍 At what point do you suggest going to larger calipers? Also, would you be able to make that full exhaust set up for a customer who wants a little more sound, but no drone?
Sure. We can build any exhaust you dream. Stock calipers are fine, just add brake scoops for additional needs.
Hello, is this turbo kit will be developed for sale?
After building it and adding up parts and time involved it will be very limited. We don’t like to farm things over seas and we don’t have a production facility
I bet, its a beautiful kit and well put together, Im trying to resurrect a flooded s2k and after I get it running im debating between turbo or supercharged, looking for a fun driver nothing crazy, I share your mentality on not over powering or super loud
Seems like the closet thing to this kit would be the SoS ts-max turbo kit

I bought a CR trunk. You just bolt it on. It’s about as simple as can be.
Were those lower seat rails as low as you think the OEM seat can be? I too have the tall guy small car situation but have always been hesitant to rolling the dice on a different seat. Always found that aftermarket seats always have fitment issues that need to be worked out.
The lower seat rail puts the seat, almost dragon, the carpet, without modifying the pan any further I don’t think The seat could go lower. I haven’t seen an aftermarket see that fits the car and myself Internet to thousand, so I couldn’t see which one to look at.
@@LHTPerformance Thank you for the response. Knowing the seat is touching the carpet is great info. Probably going to go the same route with the lowered seat rails.
2 row radiator would be better, turbo = more heat and wear & tear .
This is temporary for the oem look. I’m actually very familiar with cooling updates 😉

We built the exhaust using Ticon Titanium, the the first exhaust is full 3” down the passenger side and a branch with 2.5” out the drivers side with a boost activated valve.
