Brad's Height has been the subject of much debate over the years. I've read thousands of comments, looked at too many photos and films to mention, so surely, a Height Expert like myself should know the truth by now?
Many believe he wears lifts or elevator shoes, but I don't know. He actually claimed earlier in his career - at 24 - to be under six foot.
And overall can look near it.

he is 5'10".5" to 5'11" , he hasn lost height. And even in his mid 50's is a dam good looking man.
While I agree to an extent everyone loses height as they fall from their prime. It’s natural, so I wouldn’t be surprised If brad has lost an inch and possibly change.

I agree, after thinking he was much taller for a long time, I believe it is clear he is somewhere very close to 5'11". The thing is he "presents" as much taller. It has to do with his very good posture (it is almost strange how straight he stands with his head almost always tilted back a bit) and the fact that he occasionally wears lifts. The evidence for the lifts are everywhere so there is no doubt about that. He probably picked the idea up from Tom Cruise. It is well documented that Cruise wore 3" lifts in "Interview With a Vampire" and we all know Cruise wears lifts in real life pretty much all the time.

The problem with these, is that you always compare them to another actor/actress, hence if you got the wrong number at the beginning, your whole domino of heights just collapse. You should try to guess their height compared to an objects, than to each other.
True but he also compared many Stars to his own height when he met them in Person - so with this in addition he has very reasonable experience about to assess it.
Objects don't always work. That guy on Tik Tok that used to do that was almost always wrong.
Can't be a legit 6' if he puts himself down as 5'11. When you get measured at the doctor they will announce to you: "You're 5'11 1/4" OR they will say "Congrats young man you're 6 ft" and how could you forget that? You're part of the club, why would you dock yourself out from it that makes no sense. 100% under 6'.

@@sonnyblack0870 lol yep! I measure myself far too often for a 50 something. I think its cos my dad was over 6'4'' and I was the same height he was (5'10'') at 15. The thing is, I only grew another inch. Been feeling short changed ever since!

Brad pit usually looks 5'10 buy himself until he stands by someone else
Brad Pitt is at least 5'10 1/2" and quite possibly 5'11" even as his peak height though now being older might have lost about a quarter inch but it's possible he has held on to his peak height too. He sometimes wears footwear that add 1.5 to as much as 2 inches which explains why he looks near or at 6'1" on some occasions. If he was just 5'9 1/2" or 5'10" he would barely look 6 feet and would appear more than 2 inches shorter than people like James Gandolfini and David Duchovny. He is clearly taller than Matt Damon who is likely between 5'9 1/2" - 5'10".
Pitt is 5'11 that's why 2 inch shoes make him 6'1. And then he has better posture than most which might add extra half inch.
Thing is he also has good hair game in some of those photos and his hair has been all over the place over the years.A good haircut can give you about 1 inch before it starts looking funny. I would say he is probably around 180cm barefoot with a shaved head.
How can a "good" haircut give you "about 1 inch" of height? Does the hairdresser do something magical that makes you look taller?

5’10 1/2 is too low in my opinion but fair enough, i guess him as 5’10 3/4 or flat 5’11, he is 6’1-2 in lifts and enhanced shoes with big heels, your right he does give a very tall impression
It’s weird because I’ve seen plenty of his films and he more often than not seems over 6 foot at least. Of course as to whether or not he wears lifts I don’t know but it’s very rare that anybody around the 5’11 mark feels the need to. I mean that’s already above average
Most people cant tell. Even if obvious, was infantry in the army my last 1 1/2 was attached to an MP unit. This unit was a stickler for height and weight and would flag you if you were under weight...yeah ridiculous I know. My actual measurement was 5'11 . 5 inches tall and 138 pounds. Luckily the person doing the measurement was not the one writing it down, my buddy was(sgt's for the win lol) told him put down 5'6 a big gap ...no one questioned it....ever lmfao.

I don't know what it is about 5'10-11'ers but their height is by far the most elastic of any of the heights. They can look as tall a 6'2-ers while other times looking barely taller than 5'8-ers.
Michael Biehn is actually taller than Bill Paxton; however, Mr. Paxton's build makes him seem taller than Mr. Biehn.

I'd say he's 1.78m (5'10''). With the proper shoes and good posture he can get as tall as 1.85m (6'1''). I'm just speaking out of my experience as a 1.76m guy (a bit above 5'9'') that reaches around 1.81m (6ft) with timberlands.
Im 179,7cm and shoes on 183,5cm. He has really big shoes if he is 178cm and get 185cm cause I feel my shoes are pretty big.

If you look at Brad Pitt next to a woman(Geena Davis) who is 6' tall, he is significantly shorter than she is. Older pictures from Thelma and Louise, before his ego kicked in, 5'10" maximum peak back then.

He was born 1963 so he's nearly 59.
Most of the top Hollywood actors don't go much above 5ft 10 unless aided by lifts which is quite apparent when they stand next to genuine 6ft 3 actors who show the true picture. Pitt was probably never much over 5ft 10 and many pictures confirm this with Clooney around the 5ft 10 mark. They all add 2 inches at least to their height but I have always been astonished when I have met them at just how short they are.
I've stood right next to him ... he's at least 5'11".
To be more specific: When I met him (although it was an awards show, he was very casually dressed and in sneakers), he looked to be at least 6' ... but that was way back in 1995 or '96 ... so he may well have shrunk a bit. So, no less than 5'11".

Whilst I have never stood next to him I have met actors who have been close to his height and they have been shorter than I am at 5ft 9. 6ft in Hollywood is 5ft 10 in the real world...
I was an extra in the background of the movie leatherheads with George Clooney. I was shocked at how short he was. He's nowhere near 5'11. I heard some one say damn he's short.
I opened Stallone's car door at Planet Hollywood. The crowd went silent when he stepped out even though he was wearing boots. 😲 shock, I tell you. Nothing close to what is listed.

I am 168cms/1.68 m in real life & I bought a high wedge from tallmenshoes & with that & a good boot I stand at 179cms/1.79m. If the sole is flat then it’s 177cms/1.77m. I also tried women’s wedge (obviously had removed the straps 😅)which was slightly more higher inside my a heavy boot & I stood around 182cm/1.82m. Then I added an insole I was around 184cms/1.84m but it has become difficult for me to talk. Some of them how did I become super tall, I smiled 😅 but I did this to challenge two guys who were claiming to be 6’2 & I realised they were somewhere near 6’2 & not 6’0 as I had assumed.😔
My height is going to be the most irritating topic of discussion when I'm famous because I can look as short as 5'6 (maybe not anymore IDK, depends on how much I grow) and as tall as 6'2 and a bit.

@@shot1897 5'11 flat in his prime most likely. 5'11 now would mean he was probably more like 5'11.5 in his 20s, and actors rarely under list themselves. Good posture and good shoes can make a world of difference, hence guys like cruise have a 5'9-5'10 presence at 5'7.5 prime.

I'm 182 cm and went to Madame Toussauds in Vegas in 2004 and I was taken aback by how tall his wax figure was. He was nearly an inch taller than me. I thought it was BS. No way he's nearly 6'1". He's just so lean he gives the appearance of added height.
Maybe they just guessed his height and were fooled. Not all celebrities agree to getting measurements for their wax work.

Your true height is measured without lifts and first thing in the morning, end of story. I also prefer the UK metric system of using centimetres, as it's more accurate and can clear up any discrepancies between people of the same heights at the taller or shorter end of the range.
There's going to be no way of truly gauging any of these celebrities heights unless you can legitimately stand them up next to a verified person and all footwear is removed.
Most of their heights are lied about because most people wouldn't be able to tell anyway, there's height noticeability thresholds at each end of the scale, the taller or shorter somebody gets.
Tell a 5' 2" woman that you're 6' 4" when you're only 6' 2" and she won't even be able to tell the difference.

I'm 6'4 in shoes and most people i've met estimate me to be around 2 meters (6'7), so after a certain point in height, people really lose a sense of estimation.

Don't know if anyone's said this but I'm pretty sure (not 100%) in the movie kalifornia the police radio says he's description and he's height says 5'11 but this isn't the best evidence but it's something 😂

I personally knew Brad's stuntman from his earlier days when he was mid 20's. He showed pictures to me of him and Brad and they were the same height. The stuntman is 5'9.5.
To be honest, depending on camera angles, sometimes you can really be an inch or 2 taller than someone but look close or about the same height. Especially if the stunt man was 5"9 and a half. So the stunt man with regular boots or sneakers is actual around 5"11.. i have brad at 5"10 and a half. I mean overall hes average height at the end of the day. So him being around 5"10, lifts look more natural on him cuz of his proportions vs guys like tome cruise.. so if brad wears 3 inch lifts example, it looks passable on him... in my opinion

@@Andy-yo3hd If Pitt listed himself as 5'10" it could be the case that he didn't think much of it or had a slouch back in the day. To add to that he had a tall/slender look with a long head. Could very well be they saw eye-to-eye but he had a half inch on him. My take is he fixed up his posture, probably did a fair bit of yoga, and got himself up pretty close to 5'11".

Actors lying about their height and claiming 2 inches taller on a regular basis is what makes people feel not tall enough in the first place. Thanks to them, now people think 6 ft is average for males LOL (maybe in Denmark and Netherlands, but nowhere else in the world). I think it's great to call them out. People need to understand again what is normal height, what is short, and what is tall, as in many other things. In the US, at 6 ft, only about 14% of males will be your same height or taller, meaning 86% of males will be shorter than you. 6 ft is tall, not average as Hollywood actors would make you think. But then again, the industry of beauty survives by destroying people's self-esteem and notion of reality.

I think it's probable that Brad Pitt was a little over 5'11" (5'11.5") when he was younger and now he's a little under 5'11" (5'10.5").
you dont lose 1 inch so fast. statistics show you only start to lose height at ages 40-45 but until 50 the lose of height is really small like half of cm until you are 50 and only after 50 you start losing 1 cm per 10 years.
