42 year old husband just diagnosed.
Thank you for this.
How is he? An ER Dr. just found a tumor in mine. Have my first appt with a Urologist this next Wednesday. Nervous. I’m 61F.
@@wanderinggeri8477 surgery 4 days ago, right kidney removed, pathology revealed stage 1 cancer, fully contained, just came home today, looks like he got bitten by a shark, such a large incision, we're very grateful.
Thanks for asking.
Good luck to you, welcome to check in
@@theinvisibleswordsman1196 he ok now
Thank you for this very informative video. Very, very, interesting and informative. Everything was explained and drawn for us everyday people to understand. Thank you again.
Thank you! I wonder if you have a most recent findings treatments in 2023 video?
Thank you! My Dr. explained a lot and drew pictures as well. But I was a bit shell-shocked and didn't really take it in. I had L Nephrectomy on June 1st and it was Stage 2 PRCC. I am just now feeling like I am understanding it better. This video really helped me focus on what is going on and gave me some ideas for future approach if the 3 month scans indicate any further masses! I appreciate you!
Just diagnosed Feb 5th 2024. Waiting on April 17th for surgery. Not afraid of much for all ive gone through, but this has me beside myself.
Thank you for this logical and clear explanation.
EXCELLENT
Wonderfull!!!!!
Thank you so very much!!
Thank you so much this has given me a lot of information
Thank you for your explanation. It was wonderful So what do I do now? Please help me
Thank you, this was very informative. I had surgery to remove RCC 6 years ago and though I had a thorough knowledge provided by my awesome Urologist, this video would be a great tool for them to have and help to explain to patients how these are staged and current ways of treating.
May I ask, how large was your tumor?
You are okey now??
What stage you have Friend? God bless you🙏
Thank you for this video. I got surgery in September.
How are you now?
I have suggested a surgery for RCC next week...
@@kabeerabdulkareem1964 how are you now
Great tutorial and easy to understand
I have RCC stage 4 and I started immune therapy in January and it’s working I’m feeling great, also a great help is that I’m using also a combination of Holistic/alternative medicine: I V Ozone therapy and IV vitamin C 25 ml. When I started the immunotherapy I continued with my holistic therapy because is helping me no to get side effects and is working next week I will be having an EMR and the CT scan and I will know exactly how well are these two therapies are working 🙏💜
I hope you are doing better! I am also in the same boat but without your alternative treatments. Curious to learn how those are helping you. Best regards from Korea!
I would like to have a conversation with you since my mother is facing the same..
How is you mother? What stage? God blesses her 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@anagha3125same boat here. I feel terrified. My mom is having extensive surgery within two months max to remove a full kidney and have several other parts of the urinary tract removed. Like urethers, bladder parts and other stuff. So I am guessing it must have spread by now... To add insult to injury, my mom is a doctor, and so was my dad. I decided to not become a doctor due to everything I witnessed growing up, but of course, living with them exposed me to most of the medical jargon , so I ended up more aware of these things than I should for my own good. Again, just terrified.
My brother is 47 and diagnosed with advanced stage kidney cancer that spread in Renan vein and lungs . Doctor suggested ammuno there just tell me does this cure him . And what is your suggestion
I Have type 2 diabetes besides renal cell carcinoma. What happens if I lose my other kidney to cancer
Thank you so so much for thiss. Can you please help me with a descion. Someone very close to me has been diagnosed with stage 1 RCC. The tumour is 2x2.2 cm. We’ve been given two options, laparoscopy and the open surgery. Which should we go for? Please help. I’ll be very very grateful.
How did it go for you? What did you choose? My father just received his diagnosis and a recommendation for open surgery. What investigations did you have that led to this diagnosis? Did you have a “sample” collected for biopsy before the surgery? Thank you so much 🙏🏻
I had laparoscopic. I think my decision would depend where the tumour was located. My tumour was 8.5cm
I am a 61 year old female that was just diagnosed with Reno. Cell carcinoma had a tumor on my kidney that was removed. I didn't know that I had staged 3 when they found it. So now I don't know. How do you go about finding out if they had gotten all the cancer when they removed my kidney? I live in a small And our medical facilities are not that good. We have one hospital where I live. I'm just terrified. I don't know what to think. Please try and help me understand where do I go from here
Bless your heart hop all goes well for you
Hope you are doing well? If you are still nervous and want to know more, I suggest you call the Hospital were you had the surgery. To ask if there is going to be a follow up scan.. or ask what’s written in your medical journal. Maybe ask your own doctor for advice. 🤔 I hope that can give you some answers.. Best wishes ❤️
@@susanneh.7652 Thank you so much for your advice and may god bless you too
@@sararamirez4353I had stage 2, my friend had stage 3. My friend has been in remission for 7 years and me 3.
How does a dr know if it’s cancer as my Dr. Said it’s not wise to do a biopsy & if cancer it can spread outside of the kidney. Had CT & DYE contrast & found upper Tubial mass on upper kidney. He’s not the surgeon but recommends complete ablation?! I’ve read biopsies are performed for fear of cells escaping; so how does cancer get diagnosed?! Dr. or can anyone answer this? Thx u & blessings 🙏
Mine was diagnosed as it had a visible blood supply so there was no dubiety that it was cancerous, I think they said 99% sure. I would not get a biopsy. I’ve read too much about seeding
Yes, the best course was a nephrectomy & no biopsy. I am now- NED. Blessings 🙏
@@noemifitzpatrick6039
What was the stage? U have taken any further treatment after operation? Please share with me. God blesses you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@rkvlogs8082 hi, mine was low grade & highly dangerous since it was on upper left near the heart’s VENA CAVA. SO MY MEDICAL TEAM & nephrologist within a few weeks removed the kidney against metastasis onto the MAJOR HEART VESSELS.
Was put on pain meds post surgery & I need the organic detoxification of body by: GREEN JUICING, HIGH PROTEIN BEANS, SALADS, NUTS, ALL BERRIES, ELECTROLYTES WATER DAILY.
WHAT STAGE ARE YOU & prognosis?! 🙏
I had a left nephrectomy three years ago, stage 2 grade 3 tumour. 8.5cm.
wow ! How you doing now , going for mine soon.
As I've been saying spread to distant organ is stage 4, Immunotherapy. Side effects sores in mout.
