I was diagnosed with grade 2 stage 3a Breast cancer in June this year and underwent standard of care treatment- neo-adjuvant chemo (I could only tolerate 4 rounds out of 6 prescribed)+ phesgo target therapy, followed by surgery and now some radiation treatment. It was a 7cm mass with 6 nodes involved. As soon as I found out I had cancer, I put myself on a Mediterranean/keto style diet, and implemented much of what was outlined in this video. After the surgery, I found out the cancer had melted away, disappeared from both the breast tissue and nodes, all that remained was scarring. My optimum results I believe were due to standard of care treatments I received COMPLEMENTED by everything I implemented as in this video e.g., diet, lifestyle, cutting out sugar and highly processed food, supplements etc. I think it also helped that I had no other underlying health condition other than inflammatory arthritis, which I tend to manage mostly without anti inflammatory medication. I made the changes straight away, whilst waiting 8 weeks for my treatment to start 👍.Thank you for this video, I wish I'd seen it before having put in all the time and work in researching this via so many different sources.

I am so happy that an oncologist does not underestimate the value of diet and key supplements and actually has some real knowledge about them 13:37 . I heard nothing but crickets from mine when I consulted her about the use of supplements and diet to augment aromatase inhibitor therapy for me . I am concerned about the possible debilitating side effects from it and she merely stated that patients primarily complain about join and muscular pain 13:37 joint pain as if it’s not that bad !!

OK, I just have to say- my side effects from tamoxifen, even at 5 mg, were intolerable. It's not just that I couldn't function at work (I'm a physician) but that I couldn't function at all. Grocery shopping, using the ATM, cooking dinner were beyond my intellectual capabilities. Why are we pretending that all women can tolerate these? We can't.

My oncologist told me it was 50/50 chance my cancer would com back in five years if I took tamoxafen. To me, it wasn't worth it. I ended up treating my breast cancer holistically. This month would mark five years, unofficially, and officially five years next month. I changed my diet; all protocol was with the direction of a holistic doctor and was tailored to my specific type of cancer and my bodies health needs. PS - he did address nearly the amount of side effect that these drugs cause. In my research, I felt the "risk" of not taking them outweighed quality of life.

Two years later, DIEP flap bilateral reconstruction. I feel 1/8 of the person I used to be. Hot flashes and fatigue are a constant 😢 ah, half way through the treatment my employer terminated my employment.
