I was diagnosed with kidney cancer 12 weeks ago. I’m young, fit and very healthy lifestyle. I was having these weird pains in my abdomen. My GP/primary doctor sent me to the hospital for a CT scan. A mass was showing on my left kidney. Had a nephrectomy 5 Weeks ago. Have to start immunotherapy in January. Very overwhelmed. Non smoker, never taken drugs or never touched alcohol. Follow a kept and intermittent fasting diet for five years.
How are you now? I am also starting immunotherapy from 5 th Feb. with Axitinib. You say about ur treatment and from where you are?
I just had my kidney removed (right). I had a mass 6.8 cm x 5.7 cm x 4.3, which is a good size mass. It was in the dead center of the kidney and was Clear Cell Kidney Cancer. It was found by MRI of spine, which I also had 2 surgeries on. All 3 surgeries were in 7 month's time. I feel really good 12 days out from surgery better than I have felt in years. I will do lab tests to check the function on my only kidney now (left)
I developed a persistent cough that didn’t go away. After a a year I gave up on finding out why I was coughing but did a chest CT scan and they found I had kidney cancer that was pushing against my diaphragm. Kidney removed and all my problems went away
I was told today that I have 12.3 cm solid cyst on top pole of kidney. I've had a cough from deep down for years off and on. Odd, five years ago, this thing was 3.2 cm. But they never followed up, and I knew nothing about it. FF to today and primary said they may need to remove kidney. I've got an appointment to see specialist Monday. Not sure I'm processing this all this.
My dad has been having the same cough since Covid. He first thought that it was the covid was had left him with a cough but just recently we found out he has a tumor on his right kidney.
Tomorrow is my ultrasound. I was sent to the ultrasound because of my hematuria (only microscopic) and leukocyturia. Most likely not UTI though, so hopefully all is fine in my urinary tract. But bladder cancer is even worse I my opinion, so if something, kidney cancer would be a blessing at that point.
How did it go?
@@alexgriffith1105 Good and not good at the same time. Long story short, the problem was not solved and now I'm waiting for an orthopaedist appointment and EEG. How about you?
@strawberrypizza6798 I had to set an appointment for the ultrasound, but I'm procrastinating honestly. I have to do it today though

10📅21 My husband had a 1” tumor / side kidney cyst. Then a successful removal. 🙏🏼so thankful. Whole Healthy kidney tissue remains. He was reassured that most likely he will be unaffected by procedure😊. Thank you, great 9 min video
Did your husband experience severe digestion problems prior to being diagnosed with his tumor?
@@pamelaeaton451 none. Presently & before the diagnosis, we’ve been eating healthy more salads before every meal. Lemon stevia water too. We cut down junk, sugars & fast foods most days. That helps digestion. Cutting back in 2019, we dropped 1 Lb/wk each. Yet Still found cyst. Now gone. Good luck. Lbs stayed off too

My mother had her kidney removed in Oct 2019 due to kidney cancer. In November 20220 she went for her yearly check up, and it was discovered the cancer had spread to lungs and a year later metastasized to her bones! I URGE YOU TO PUSH FOR AN AFTER CARE PLAN WITH RADIATION OR CHEMO THERAPY AFTER HAVING YOUR KIDNEY REMOVED! If the doctor had of did this with my mother she wouldnt have terminal cancer today!
Chemo doesn’t work with kidney cancer

What about blood pathogen HPV Proteins in men that have had open ended vasectomies and had genital warts. Prior and has been ten years from HPV contraction and open-ended vasectomies.
What about the long-term use of thyroid meds being a factor in kidney tumors and cancer?

I have a history of benign breast tumors . They found a mass in my kidney 2.7 cm. Im having surgery next week. Im 71 yrs old. I have flank pain and there was blood in my urine for 6 days. Not bleeding. anymore. One night i had severe gas and vomited eoth loose stools. But none of that anymore. My bladder was scoped snd is normal.
I’m about to get my kidney removed because the mass is cancerous
