Thank you for getting straight to the point instead of rambling like the other folks, they never get to the point nor do they ever mention what’s supposed to be done! Thankyou!!
Thank you My car has been down for 5 days and I got tired of waiting for a mechanic to do it. I got to the radiator and couldn't figure out how to get it out and thought the a/c lines were attached to it and didn't know what to do. Watching your video I found that they were connected to a condenser behind the radiator that I didn't know existed. Now I should be able to finish this by myself.
@@bobaganoosh88 It was a big help. The radiator was a pain to get back in but I was able to do it myself. Iv'e known how to work on cars since I was 10 being a mechanics daughter but I have never had to work on a newer car. They are awful. There is no room, everything is on top of everything. I will look for your videos in the future if I ever have more work to do. Thanks again for your video.
That's what they were going to charge my customer! I only charged him 600. I would've done it for 400 but when I saw the quote and told him 600 he was stoked, and so was I!
Thank you for a great video. I watched your video last night and I did every step you did and new radiator is in!! I watched one guy pretty much take his whole front end of the car off to do just a radiator. You were straight to the point no blah blah blah. Thanks again
@MrCcobra2000 I would make sure the radiator is seated into the rubber gromits on the bottom. If it's inside those it'll be low enough. If it's in those try to see if it's fitting on the top side because it's good be just right and it'll all fit together again.
Man everything looks good. Nothing is touching up top. Rubber grommets are seated. I can't get 2 bolts in. The over flow tank bolt and 10mm bolt next to windshield fluid res
Amazingly helpful video! Thank you so much. Anyone had a hissing coming from the right hand side of the radiator after replacing the radiator, thermostat, water pump? And it’s a lot of steam. Radiator replaced in December, water pump and thermostat a few days ago but still overheating and now hissing and steaming.
You don't show how to put the radiator back in. I can not get the radiator back in due to air conditioning lines in the way. I been at it for two hours trying to put it back in.
RIght! Brad the Mechanic edits his video and does not show how much of a BI7CH to remove around the AC lines. Took and hour + to remove.... still struggling to get the new one back in without wrecking the fins.... Good video Brad, but you edited out the hardest parts!
Thanks for uploading! What's the metal hose near the windshield wash reservoir? It has a pressure release valve on it that's hissing when I take my 2011 Durango for a good run and I'm trying to diagnose it. There's a good view of it at 8:33.
I’m having trouble disconnecting the radiator from the condenser on the right side at the top is there a clip or something or do I have to muscle it off
What I do is start the vehicle after filling with coolant, leaving the rad cap off. It'll bubble down after the thermostat opens and will allow more coolant to be added. After that put the cap on and drive it a little. When you come back and it's cooled down a bit you can add the rest of the coolant in the radiator if its needed.
The only dodge owner on here with any type of sense when uploading. Thank you sir 👍
Its because I'm not a dodge owner!! Lol

Great video. Thanks for posting.
Thank you sir videos for Durango are hard to come by
Very helpful video . Thank you
Good video bro, mine was leaking from the exact same spot 🤣
Thank you! It seems like a lot of shitty radiators leak right where the plastic and aluminum meet. I see it often.
very helpful bro! thanks for this video
Thanks dog I appreciate your help
Would it be same process for 2015 Durango? Thanks very helpful
Pretty sure it's about the same
You don't show how to put the radiator back in. I can not get the radiator back in due to air conditioning lines in the way. I been at it for two hours trying to put it back in.
Its the opposite of installation

They wanted 1600 do to this at the shop! I said Lemme do it for 600. When i was originally going to charge even less than that!!
Thanks for uploading!

That is one of the AC lines. If its leaking thats bad but sometimes they hiss after driving.
@@bobaganoosh88 Gotcha, thanks! Just a hiss so I'll keep an eye on it.
I recently replaced the thermostat, do I still have to replace it even tho it’s new?
Nope you shouldn't have to!
How much does labor cost
@leocarter3328 I charged 200 but most places charge 4 to 800
Don't forget it's not just Dodge bad,Mercedes had their grubby mitts involved too.
Thank you for the explanation!
Is it safe to assume the hemi is the same process?
Yes similar process, probably a little less room.
Hola consulta que refrigerante usar en una durango año 2011. Y cuantos litros son.
fill it till its full about 7 liters you can use universal coolant
Should my radiator cap be off while letting it run
Yeah while first starting it, have the cap off to make sure most of the air comes out when filling it up with coolant.
Should my radiator cap be off while letting it run?
Yeah in the beginning
I’m having trouble disconnecting the radiator from the condenser on the right side at the top is there a clip or something or do I have to muscle it off
I believe there's two bolts holding it they're kind of hard to get to. If I remember correctly I had to remove the headlight to access the bolts
What's the name of that " best $15 I'll ever spend" tool? Do I need to replace my thermostat or can I just go the radiator?
You don't have to change the thermostat, no. Also the tool is called radiator hose clamp pliers.
Thanks lots for the help and quick response. Very much appreciated
How do you identify if its hd cooling or standard cooling?
Extra cooler lines
Did you have to bleed the coolant system
What I do is start the vehicle after filling with coolant, leaving the rad cap off. It'll bubble down after the thermostat opens and will allow more coolant to be added. After that put the cap on and drive it a little. When you come back and it's cooled down a bit you can add the rest of the coolant in the radiator if its needed.
@@bobaganoosh88 thats what I did just making sure some of these dodges have that bleeder screw on thermostat housing
@@charliemoore4047 I can't remember if they do, but if so you can use it or just do what you did.
Thanks much

Good shit! Good man.
I was just told from the mechanic that the condensor needs to come off
It makes it easier, but if you're careful you can do it. I did!
@@bobaganoosh88 okay thank you..I thought he was lying lol
@@vMalekith if you watch the video I got it out just fine without having to remove the condenser
Can you provide the part number for the radiator?
Unfortunately I don't have it, but using the VIN from your vehicle, your local parts supplier will be able to get you exactly what you need.
