I am a 74 year old Black man who grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. I it is hard to believe that there people who never heard if Led Zeppelin. I listen to Blues,Classical,Flamenco,Rock/Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, Jazz and Reggae. Led Zeppelin the greatest Rock and Roll band ever bar none.
Ronald, I am sorry. I have to correct you. I’m 70. We grew up in a beautiful time. Beautiful music. And Led Zeppelin was one of them. But.....Deep Purple? Grand Funk? Our time......incredible......never seen it......!

I saw Led Zeppelin in concert twice. They are electrifying to see in person.
Was at Knebworth, I was alone and 17, a group of girl hippie chicks took me under their wing. Met Robert in Vienna two years ago..talked football all night long! ☺️

can I suggest, because I searched and didn't find it, that you two react to Ann & Nancy Wilson's band, I guess a reincarnation of Heart, covering "Stairway to Heaven" in front of Led Zeppelin's surviving 3 members at the Kennedy Center in D.C. concert where Zeppelin was getting a Lifetime Achievement Award for their cultural contribution to the arts during the Obama Administration - you won't regret it, I promise - and the late Zep drummer John Bonham's son Jason, is playing drums with Heart -- astonishingly emotional & great cultural and musical moment

Led Zeppelin 4 was released today November 8th 1971 so this song is now 51 years old today and I’m 54 just to give you some perspective! Enjoy!
Also this will sound trivial to some but at 3:00 On here the full sound of the original Jimmy’s guitar and John Paul’s recorders and bass it reminds me of being baptized in the warm water of the church ⛪️ baptismal pool! It takes my breath away!

You may be interested to know that the singer Robert Plant's first wife was an Indian lady from Calcutta and he had 3 kids with her. One of which died of a mysterious illness when he was about 4. When they divorced, he dated her sister and had a kid with her.

The A&E Television Network once aired this concert late night on my 15th birthday, which felt like a God-send in the 90s before the resurgence of the mighty Led Zeppelin that took MTV by storm. It was just me that night, enjoying Led Zeppelin and a bottle of Bacardi!
Thank you. First heard Led Zepplin at my sister's friends house when I was 17 years old in the late 1960's. Greatest Rock Band then and they still sound great today. Timeless. No one can compare to their talent. A perfect combination of musical talent. God bless you. 💗➕💗

if you get a chance catch Heart singing this at the Kennedy Center in tribute to Led Zeppelin, the drummer is the son of Led's original drummer who died while on tour
Perhaps the only time that song was played as originally intended. Zep weren't a huge fan of playing this live and actually played it differently each time from what I have heard (My Mom saw them over 27 times and said they never played Stairway the same twice)

I loved the dreamy looks on your faces as you were getting drawn into the music! Yes, if you are over forty and live in an anglophone country, then you have probably heard this song a bazillion times, but it is a classic for a reason. It has a perfect structure and contains what is arguably Jimmy Page's finest guitar solo. This performance was taken from the in-concert film "The Song Remains the Same", and the film also contains a fine rendition of "The Song Remains the Same" segueing into the "The Rain Song" if you want more of Page's double-neck guitar wizardry. Another great reaction video from you ladies!

Heart did an absolutely surreal cover of this at the Kennedy Center award show for the Zep featuring Jason Bonham (John's son) on drums. Ann hits a note that put a crack in the sky. The Zep minus Bonzo were in attendance. Instant classic performance

Its common to hear "no Stairway" in guitar stores and on radio stations as the song has been over-played and become somewhat cliche....but make no mistake, there is a reason this song is the one everything else is compared too. Fantastic!
