I have a "gift" for you, if you haven't already seen it....Robert Plant live in a little place, with the Hayriders th-cam.com/video/pTIWG-zJ7R4/w-d-xo.html he does an alright Elvis actually
Young lady if you truly like this music, this song, then you are hooked. It is too late to turn back, you are one of us now. The blues lives in you, let it grow. Zeppelin is not just music, it is an experience, a way of life.
I'm trying to get into rock I mean like I know I like it but I want to know more information which bands do I start off on and I like classical rock but I enjoy metal I guess sorry if Metallica ain't metal I'm not sure yet feel free to tell me but I enjoyed some metallica songs but I think I'm a just a bit more interested in the classical rock genre like led zeppelin I have heard like another song from him but I have struggles on what albums I should hear which I shouldn't stuff like that
It was SUCH a unique experience watching a young women like yourself listen to a LEGENDARY performance like this one. Truly awesome to see your emotional reaction to a song I have heard many hundreds of times. Nothing comes close to the artistry and power of Led Zeppelin and this song in particular. They simply KILLED it. Thank you for posting this!!!! :-) XO
A true music fan goes back to the past to find gems to enjoy... Feel sorry for the many young fans today that don't know anything before the year 2000🙄😔 Led Zeppelin is a band that will live on forever
I was 16 when this came out in 1971. I was born at the right time musically. I'm glad you enjoyed this song, I love it and must have listened to it thousands of times in my lifetime.
ugly but proud muddy waters. Any songs they did from other writers...(about 8% of their catalog) they changed so much and created all new progressions and melodies and bridges and breaks and intros and outros and mid sections and time changes and different chord patterns and vocal styles etc....that they were really writing almost entirely new songs from those other writers core songs. The only bad thing is that they didn't give credit on the album sleeves to some of the original composers. Not good but...hmmm.
Philosopher 007 there used to be a sense of a Creative Commons- that all artistic expression is based on the foundations already built by others. Just check out how many singers would all release the same song within a year or two in the jazz and Motown genres.
This is an awesome band, those are some great guitar skills. Loving it! Nice reaction. Bringing you back to the 70’s what do you know about the seventies? Lol
This was a performance at Knebworth in around 1975. Greatest band ever. Bonham died in 80' and they disbanded. Can't believe I've been listening to this for 40 years.
Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band - ever! Their rendition of, "Going To California," is pretty incredible too - check it out. No drums, but it has acoustic guitar, mandolin and vocals.
Wait...you've never heard of Zeppelin before this!? Oh wow! They're LEGENDARY! There's so much music now that wouldn't exist wo them! Def keep listening! Wow! I may not have been born yet, but I have been listening to Zeppelin and so many others forever...so many greats from this era that totally changed the direction of modern music!
" ...... yes , there are 2 paths - U can go there , but in the long run; there's still time to change the road you're on " LED ZEPPELIN, all time Greatest Ever !
@David Roberts That's not a all what I said. The Who is a great band. Same with Pink Floyd. I've seen The Who live. I also saw ZePPeLiN live. And The Who was a very, very good show. But in my opinion ZePPeLiN blew them away.
Michael Whitton I would say react to the studio version 1st then the live version. Both are great but it shows how different they are live vs studio. She’ll really understand their talent even more!
I was lucky, saw them in '77. The final night at the Forum in L.A. That show has carried me through my life. Your reaction is priceless! Continue your journey, you won't want it to end!
Good reaction! The studio version of the song is legendary too. Arguably the best group of musicians you will ever hear in rock (with all due respect to the other greats of that era). Enjoy the ride!
I grew up watching Led Zeppelin, they have been my Fave band since... 🔥💯Good Reaction!!!!! Keep going with led zep, all songs are great..... Thank You - is a great softer type song... So is GOING TO CALIFORNIA -. OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY-- RAMBLE ON --. YOU REALLY CANT GO WRONG💯🌸
Queen this is just a crack of the door when it comes to The Greatest Rock/blues band ever. Wait... if you take a deep dive into this group, you will never be the same!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS 🌲🥂🙏✝️❤️
We are still at Madison Square Garden 1973. These words are so beautiful and poignant. An ageless song...An ageless band. You have the soul of a child of the 70s. Yea we all would die for his hair.
Was in high school and it's funny how we're not deaf. We would listen to music on huge speakers on loudest setting. I was16 and had 4 older sisters so was introduced to wide variety of great bands! Was lucky enough to have seen so many groups live! Led Zeppelin was on top!
I loved your reaction! I grew up to this but so nice to see someone enjoying it for the first time - the late 60's and most of the 70's were an amazingly creative time for music!!
You r right , in them days , led Zeppellin was and still is ,the greatest rock band ,just keep listening to there music ,it's more like , blues , rock mixed into one
This video - the first part was actually recorded on a soundstage...and then spliced together with actual footage from MSG in July 1973. The at about 3:00 mins it goes to MSG live.
I love this Queenie Pie!! This song is classic- it’s got a special place in my heart and I can see that you are impressed by such a lovely song! You seemed mesmerized! Also yes, his hair is awesome in this video! Thank you for making this video! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!!! Keep being awesome! 😀🎵💜
This is my favorite rock band, no question. You have to check out the studio version also, this song is considered the greatest song and solo in rock. The Studio is very different than the live.
do yourself a favor... keep going through the zep catalog, there sound is like no other band that ever existed. they can play any style of music with ease, blues, funk, rock, folk. rock' n 'roll, country, ect.. i have been listening to them for 40 years and the music is as fresh as the day it was recorded. timeless. merry christmas
Careful Miss Queenie Pie or you’ll fall under his rock god hair spell! 😂 Robert is like 70 years old now and still has amazing hair...the bastard 😂 (yes i’m jealous) nobody better than Zep! Your on the journey now girl, don’t look back. Their music is as deep as the ocean and influenced EVERYONE since. 👑👍
Saw them play PERTH W Australia in Feb 1972,a real stairway to heaven day for me, I'm 80years old this year and still listening to THE MIGHTY ZEP...😎 from Australia....
It's great to see your generation enjoying classic rock.. I look forward to seeing more of your reactions. Zepplin has a huge catalog of great music. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose.
I was fortunate that I grew up during that period, it's funny we did not realize what was taking place at the time, it was just what was happening. It is great to see generations since discovering it, makes me realize just how great it was..Thank you! There was so much music out there and really good music, it was also the time that FM radio hit the air with much better sound and signal quality then AM, which made it enjoyable to listen to music while cruising in your car, before that with AM, it was barely tolerable.
The Song Remains the Same (1976) is the best rock documentary/concert film ever made. Queen is another legendary British rock band from the 70's that you'll probably enjoy.
Queenie I am loving that younger generation as yourself starting to appreciate classic Rock such as Led Zeppelin whom I have been listening since I was a kid in the 70's, now I am in my mid fifties. You know some of musicians that have listened to at your age saying classic Rock influenced in their music. As you know that Rock came from Jazz and Blues. Members of Led Zeppelin stated Blues influenced them in their music.
Enjoyed watching you react to LZ as a first time listener from a complete different background. I love watching young people experiencing LZ. This song came out in early 70s and still 🙌
Thank you for the reaction. Led Zeppelin was a hard rock/heavy blues band but they also had acoustic elements, funk, folk, ethereal sounding stuff, and, one could argue, bits of prog rock. If you want to learn more,I suggest you start at the beginning and go in album/track order. The name of their first song is called Good Times Bad Times. Cheers!
Your just scratching the surface of Led Zeppelin with Stairway. Pick any song off any of their fist six albums and you will find a great song. Cause it is Zeppelin
A LOT of talented guitarists CAN play the instrument that well...but it's about MAKING MUSIC with that instrument and making it an extension of your artistic soul...They expend tremendous amounts of energy and everyone FEELS it. More opening of the collective THIRD EYE
The greatest Rock Song By The Greatest Rock Band......LED ~ ZEPPELIN!
There is no better band ever...especially live! I'm60 and I grew up with this! And NOBODY plays guitar that good!! 😊 more live Zeppelin please!!
I have a "gift" for you, if you haven't already seen it....Robert Plant live in a little place, with the Hayriders
th-cam.com/video/pTIWG-zJ7R4/w-d-xo.html
he does an alright Elvis actually
Queenie, you have just met The Greatest Band of all time!
@DAVID FILER Nice but not great
How many songs did they plagiarize again?
impossible. she hasnt met Three Dog Night yet.
@@WaveGazer So which songs are you accusing them of Plagiarizing?
honestly I think queen is the greatest
Jimmy never played the same solo the same way twice EVER, everything they did on stage lived and breathed
Just like Blackmore.
Yes... musicians would be bored repeating it the same way over and over. I learned that from playing the guitar. :-)
@@ORagnar Yea. And it's extremely hard to duplicate some solos.
COMPLETELY and UTTERLY wrong!
Eunuch Hunt Which part?
Young lady if you truly like this music, this song, then you are hooked.
It is too late to turn back, you are one of us now. The blues lives in you, let it grow. Zeppelin is not just music, it is an experience, a way of life.
Queenie ...and on the 8th day God created led zeppelin
Shoutout to all the Led Zeppelin fans. Beautiful people indeed.
I'm trying to get into rock I mean like I know I like it but I want to know more information which bands do I start off on and I like classical rock but I enjoy metal I guess sorry if Metallica ain't metal I'm not sure yet feel free to tell me but I enjoyed some metallica songs but I think I'm a just a bit more interested in the classical rock genre like led zeppelin I have heard like another song from him but I have struggles on what albums I should hear which I shouldn't stuff like that
"To be a rock and not to roll..." Goddamn, Led Zeppelin were rock gods.
It was SUCH a unique experience watching a young women like yourself listen to a LEGENDARY performance like this one. Truly awesome to see your emotional reaction to a song I have heard many hundreds of times. Nothing comes close to the artistry and power of Led Zeppelin and this song in particular. Best Band ever for sure
A true music fan goes back to the past to find gems to enjoy... Feel sorry for the many young fans today that don't know anything before the year 2000🙄😔 Led Zeppelin is a band that will live on forever
To enjoy a more full complete experience see the movie "The Song Remains the Same" on Blu-ray which this clip is taken from!
Fun Fact: This performance was filmed in 1973... Almost 47 years ago. Could have been filmed in 2013 from the quality.
Man With Two Eyes in Madison Square Garden, New York
I was 16 when this came out in 1971. I was born at the right time musically. I'm glad you enjoyed this song, I love it and must have listened to it thousands of times in my lifetime.
I've been a Zeppelin fan since there was a Led Zeppelin. And yes the 70's were wild.
This is awesome!! I loved seeing you react to a classic! I love this song so much! 💕☺️👍🏻
Welcome to Led Zeppelin, one of the best songs ever written
Full stop.💓
Can’t get any better than this. Check out the studio version too. Or pretty much any Zeppelin song. They’re all great.
No auto tune. Just raw talent. I miss those days. I also miss twelve strings.
Dive into it, 60's and 70's rock and roll is truly amazing.
“And as we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our soul” zep (stairway to heaven) nobody writes like this anymore.
To bad alot of zeppelin music they plagiarized...

This was a performance at Knebworth in around 1975. Greatest band ever. Bonham died in 80' and they disbanded. Can't believe I've been listening to this for 40 years.

As a lifetime fan, how have you never seen the Song Remains the Same movie that was released in 1976 ?

Thank you for sharing some of your Christmas with us -- and nice reaction too.
