On the other hand, Sweet Child of Mine was released in 1987 with the album Appetite for Destruction that was an sleazy and punky album and the Illusions from 1991 were a little different because they were a conceptual album and had long and even operistic and well elaborated songs that are almost the opposite from Appetite for Destruction.

O well out of that it brought us "velvet revolver" still GNR with slash, the lead guitarist duff, bass, and the drummer Matt, and new singer late Scott Weiland from stone temple pilots.. a far superior band when sober. check out "Dirty Little Thing" OR "Slither" or "Fall to pieces" IF YOU WANT TO ROCK..
