Eddie Vedder was poring out his heart and Soul in that performance. Towards the end it was like he was having a seizure as he was convulsing on his chair. It is so good that he was able to express his pain through his music, instead of allowing it to destroy him.
Epic performance by an epic band. I LOVE this Unplugged show.
Eddie sings with his whole body. I'm surprised he was able to stay seated. The whole Unplugged show is amazing.

I don't mean to be pedantic, but it's star, not sun. I believe there's meaning in it not being a singular sun, but one of a multitude of stars.
I took my nephews and their friends to The Gorge Ampitheathre in WA state. Beautiful outdoor Arena with the Columbia River running beside. I rented a huge RV and Pearl Jam played 3 hours. Eddie was jumping off stage and in the rafters. Wild man but such a kind and giving person we all love named Eddie Vedder. Those memories my nephews continue to bring up. Thank you for playing it.

@@d.robnicholl2588 I know!! I was 20 when this whole episode aired. It BLEW my mind! I've been Pearl Jammin' ever since. Sometimes I literally feel like I just blinked and these last 30 years happened while my eyes were closed!! Love that these reaction channels are introducing younger generations to legends and REAL musicianship and vocal talent.... So much of the music and vocals is so "artificial". 50% of current, "artists" could never do an actual unplugged performance... Sorry, that kinda turned into a rant!! Peace
Pearl Jam was the biggest thing going for a few years. Eddie Vedder was known for climbing and swinging from the stage scaffolding and diving into the crowd.

I’m SO glad to have grown up with music like this as the soundtrack to my life. I was 16 when this-their first major commercial album-came out, saw them live (for the first time) in 1991.
I saw them in 93 I was 14.. snuck into their concert .. I can’t believe I’m still listening after all these years ..

Eddie at one of his finest moments but the band had him note for note including the chorus that Stone wrote. All around lovely as is all of Pearl Jam Unplugged. An amazing band continuing to put out important music.
