Very awesome. I watched the last video of the Narrows. This one was beautiful. Utah never disappoints. The canyon walls were so pretty. Thanks Glenn and Amy. Love the music too.
I saw your first one. I would absolutely love to go through there, amazing how beautiful the Earth is. Thank you for taking me along and thank you Amy for doing all of the splicing, Editing, music and stuff. I know it takes forever, but this isjust beautiful.
oh , too awesome ! that's looks like Large Fun , Glen ! I think this Sub did so at the behest of the Slim -Guy ... you did well , most always enjoying your videos ; you present them so entertaining 😊
Even the second time around is great Glen! If I recall correctly that first trip in the Narrows was much more crowed. I enjoyed this trip much more because of the serenity. And Z I O N is my fav too!
Special place. Been there many times. Last time I was there with my son when he was about 12, we took the track back in the river proper, walking the bars and swimming every pool. Picked berries from the bank while wading in the river when my boys were just 4 and 2. A place deep in my heart from the years. BTW love your vids on Cactus Atlas!
Now that you mention it, I think your first Narrows video is how I found you and started following you! I've been twice! The first time I took the first shuttle up there and had a similar experience to you on this video. So much of it I was alone or with one other family who were visiting from The Netherlands. The second time we took the second shuttle and it was peopley the whole way through. It's still a magical place either way!
Amazing how much of a difference one shuttle time can make, huh? 😅 But you're right... it's magical regardless. So happy that you were able to experience yourself! 😊
I grew up in southern Utah. I got to drive through Zion in the driver-ed car with some classmates back when it was a road from A to B and not a Disneyland park!
Only SLIGHTLY envious! 😂 Zion can indeed be called a Disney park with crowd level now. It can certainly test one's patience. I guess the flipside is that it's good to see people interested in nature and our parks though. (Silver lining? 😅)
Sweet video Was there in March of 96’ ..wasn’t aware of the significance of the Narrows.. we just walked til pavement ended.. no shuttles back then too
Hi Glen, I am responding to your request how many people were introduced to the Cactus atlas on the first Narrows video? That would be us! My wife and I were planning a trip to Zion and watched your initial Narrows Video. Thank You! the Narrows was probably one of the best adventures we have had in US National parks and we have done many. We probably would not have attempted the narrows hike is it was not for your video. We have been watching the Cactus Atlas ever since. Keep up the good work! Sean And Roxanna Scottsdale Arizona
Was able to do this with my daughter New Year’s Eve. Wasn’t sure how it would be since it was pretty cold. But surprisingly wasn’t too bad with the bibs and neoprene socks. And not near as crowded as. My knees are bad but glad we got to do together.
Ok. I need more information. 😅 We've always known the winter there has smaller crowds but never really knew how hiking the Narrows then would be. I know that they have winter packages they rent out but was never quite sure if they made it tolerable or what the water levels would be like, etc.
@@CactusAtlas you get the bibs, shoes, socks, and stick. It really wasn’t anywhere as bad as I was expecting. Obviously the week between Xmas and New Year’s would be the most crowded part of the winter. Think it was high 30s when we went out and maybe around 50 when came back out. Really exhilarating. U should try.
I’m not sure if your previous narrows video was the first one I watched but I did watch. I really liked Porters Restaurant. Had breakfast there two mornings the motel I stayed in offered a breakfast and that’s where it was.
Beautiful video of The Narrows hike. We had to let it go when we were there due to water quality issues… but will go back! Thanks for the views and commentary. Take care always.😊
I seen the first narrows you did and I am watching the second one now. Love them both. Will probably watch over again and I plan on going there this October 11th 2024 to hike the Narrows 😊 Thanks for sharing…
What a fantastic place. It's too bad about the schedule because we must go to the end. So, when you walked away from the camera and raised your walking stick, was that your best impression of a sand person waving your gaffi stick? 🤣
We have not done that. Because we're making a video at the same time it would be hard to talk or keep up due to the process involved with filming and such.
We really enjoyed your return to the Narrows video. Well produced. Very enjoyable.
Many thanks! Glad to hear it! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous work man, place looks and feels amazing! Such a unique scenery!
Thanks a ton! 😄👍
Despite all the people, it still looks like such an amazing hike. Someday! Great video as always.
Thanks so much! I imagine you and the your family might enjoy it. 😊
The deer are just part of the simulation 😊
We thought maybe it was the welcome committee. 😂 Regardless, they're pleasant to see around.
Very awesome. I watched the last video of the Narrows. This one was beautiful. Utah never disappoints. The canyon walls were so pretty. Thanks Glenn and Amy. Love the music too.
It's such a magical place. Nothing quite like it. 😊
We have watched many Narrows expeditions and have visited too. This is the best coverage!!! Great job!!!
Wow, thank you! 😄
What a Beautiful viedo, thank u so much for sharing it !!!❤😊
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching. 😊
I love seeing the narrows again Glenn ☺️Still on my bucket list after seeing your first video about it 😝
We will continue hoping it becomes a scratched off item on that list! 😊
Beautiful! It's like waiting in line to get on the flume ride! Too many people for me!
Good comparison. It's known for being crowded (for good reason). Lots of patience needed. 😅
Thank you !!! My lower back won't let me do this but I would love to. You have a Greet life and enjoy it !!!!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
I remember the first trip through the narrows. I've been watching you for quite a while.
Great editing on this one. Loved the music!
Awesome, thank you! So happy that you've stuck around. 😄
I never tire of these views. It's all so amazing. Hi Amy n thanks for the invite. And on to the next adventure.
I feel like if someone tires of view of the Narrows, then something might be wrong. 😅
I saw your first one. I would absolutely love to go through there, amazing how beautiful the Earth is. Thank you for taking me along and thank you Amy for doing all of the splicing, Editing, music and stuff. I know it takes forever, but this isjust beautiful.
Why thank you! Indeed, the Narrows is one of the more beautiful places out there. 😊
I remember the first video! This is high on my bucket list also. I love the mountains in the east, but this is amazing. One day...
Our fingers crossed that you get to scratch this off your bucket list. 😊
oh , too awesome !
that's looks like Large Fun , Glen !
I think this Sub did so at the behest of the Slim -Guy ...
you did well , most always enjoying your videos ; you present them so entertaining 😊
😅 Slim has devious ways about him. 😂
Even the second time around is great Glen! If I recall correctly that first trip in the Narrows was much more crowed. I enjoyed this trip much more because of the serenity. And Z I O N is my fav too!
Glad you enjoyed it! We've seen some other videos where the river looks straight up like Disneyland crowds. 😅
Thank you so much! And berries?? How come we've never seen berries! 😅 Sounds like you've had many special moments and memories there. Love it!
Gorgeous! ❤
Thank you! 😊
Me and i have watched it 4 times so i will just and this
I found you by searching for Grand Canyon tips. Binge watching after that, I found your Narrows video and added that to my bucket list!
Oh, nice! If you haven't hiked the Narrow yet, I hope you get the chance and crush that bucket list. 😄👍
I remember your last time through the narrows 😊
So good we had to go back! 😄
great timing on yet another video. hopefully I'm able to visit zion again when I'm staying at the north rim in October.
Hope so, too! It's a must visit park honestly. 😄

there were also a few parking spots in the windows of the long tunnel, and you could drive up the canyon instead of riding a tram.
Only SLIGHTLY envious! 😂 Zion can indeed be called a Disney park with crowd level now. It can certainly test one's patience. I guess the flipside is that it's good to see people interested in nature and our parks though. (Silver lining? 😅)
@@CactusAtlas, I really do enjoy your videos! Even though I am older, I still get to enjoy awesome views from my chair. Thank you!
Great job Glen, thank you.❤
You are so welcome! Thank you too! 😄
Thanks!
Thank you, friend. Your generosity is simply too much. 😊
Sweet video

Oh, I love that you went and had such a good time! And stuck around here, too. When I went looking for the old footage I couldn't even watch it. 😂
I remember that first video! I was just talking to my good friend recently about wanting to do this hike with her- maybe next year!
Maybe! I hope you get a chance. Even just going a short bit is fun. 😊
I admit I've avoided the Narrows on my own adventures because of the crowds at Zion. Perhaps next year after Labor Day. Definitely looks worth it.
SO worth it. Start early and bring plenty of patience. In the end, hopefully, the scenery is what remains in memory. 😊
One of your best. Thank you.😊

Great video of a very special place. I agree that nature has a wonderful way of both inspiring and humbling you.
“Nephi” is pronounced like Knee-fy
Thank you! 😄 Yeah, we realized the pronunciation later on and corrected it in the shorts we made for the video. 😅
I’m not sure if your previous narrows video was the first one I watched but I did watch. I really liked Porters Restaurant. Had breakfast there two mornings the motel I stayed in offered a breakfast and that’s where it was.
Nice! Glad to hear it wasn't just an isolated experience and others enjoyed it there too. 😄
Beautiful video of The Narrows hike. We had to let it go when we were there due to water quality issues… but will go back! Thanks for the views and commentary. Take care always.😊
Aaaah. I remember reading about the water. That's too bad. I hope that you get a chance in the future! 😄
I seen the first narrows you did and I am watching the second one now. Love them both. Will probably watch over again and I plan on going there this October 11th 2024 to hike the Narrows 😊 Thanks for sharing…
Sweet! Enjoy that hike and trip to Zion! 😄
I did find you through the first Narrows video you did. Another hiker I watched recommended that video. 🙂
Oh, how cool! We had no idea about that! 😊
I was in Zion 20 yrs ago and the deer were the same then.
I guess it's not just a desirable place to hang out for humans, but deer as well! 😄
What a fantastic place. It's too bad about the schedule because we must go to the end. So, when you walked away from the camera and raised your walking stick, was that your best impression of a sand person waving your gaffi stick? 🤣
I can hear the noise now, and I'm half wishing that I inserted a sound clip over that part. 🤣
Do you ever go group hikes or trips with subscribers?
We have not done that. Because we're making a video at the same time it would be hard to talk or keep up due to the process involved with filming and such.
@@CactusAtlas I get that. Would be fun to through a meetup.
I pronounce it zee-own
