It is a beautiful place with exquisite color. Definitely a place to see in future if you are out in the area. Thanks Glenn for the tour and Amy your choice of music at the north one was so pretty. Well done video you two.

Cedar Breaks is great. I've been three times now. In fact, for those traveling I-15 who want a diversion and can spare a little time, the combination of Cedar Breaks and Kolob Canyon further south is basically a Mini Bryce and Mini Zion adventure. Plus the road up from I-15 to Brian Head and then Cedar Breaks is a fun drive up a canyon.
The road you saw by Brian Head does indeed go clear to the top. I took it a couple summers ago without realizing I had a broken strut on my Juke. Whoops. Amazing views up there, but that wind might have made it terrifying.
And that shirt you showed in the start of the video...yeah, I got me one! My collection of park/monument shirts is getting out of control these days. Here's hoping your viewers take the time to visit Cedar Breaks if they ever have the chance.

That's two mentions about the wind up there. I'm guessing it's just one of those places where it is always windy? Our park shirts collection has grown quite a bit over the years too. 😅

Utah does not disappoint me at all. Cedar Breaks reminds somewhat of the Grand Mesa near Delta CO. It's about 11,000 feet. I've done cross-country skiing there and some snowshoeing and hiking. . We would also head for the trees to get out of the wind. I want to visit Cedar Breaks and the overlooks. Each one is a little different. Thanks for the lovely tour Glenn and Amy. See you on the next one.

Thank you, Glenn and Amy!! Next year going on a major camping trip and I will be staying near Bryce Canyon national Park. I’ll be with a group, but this is one of the things I would like to see!!

Make time if you possibly can! It's very much worth it and the lower crowd levels make it amazing. 😊

Hi Glenn, my daughter and I stayed in nearby Parowan last October. We also visited this place last year. Very beautiful somewhat hidden place. Definitely worth checking out.

Compared to the nearby big parks, it indeed is a nice quiet little gem. 😊

Glen, you can drive all the way up that road you saw, to Brianhead peak. Its the highest point in the area. You think it was windy at Cedarbreaks, Brianhead peak will blow you over!! Our grandchild got out the car and fell over!!

I've always called it Zi-on. It used to bug me that you would call it Zi-an.
I'm glad you say it Zi-on now. Thanks 😂

🤣 Yeah... we got a lot of feedback about the pronunciation when we went the first time. Zi-on is just what feels normal to us despite local pronunciation. 😅

2:25 I've also noticed the "copy paste" merch at NPS visitor centers. I've now taken to buying shirts from Ebay. Typically about $10, vintage, and made to last! Unlike the shirts in our visitor centers now that feel very cheaply made, like a shirt from Amazon.

I bought a very nice shirt from Big Bend National Park in early 2020. It had a beautiful design of Casa Grande with a Roadrunner. I have also noticed that on my more recent visits to National Parks all the shirt designs are generic.

Well, that's the difference between money going to the parks system and some random seller online.

Glenn, love your videos and commentary. Would only suggest that you slow down. You are breathless, racing about like a tourist on a one week vacation.
