@watsomd I got mine from the Ninja website, but I looked and they sold out again...SHM I just happen to go to the site while I was at work 3am in the morning. I put my name on the waiting list as well but didn't get notified.
Nice video thanks. Some people have reported liquid getting stuck in the back of the container that does not come out during the rinse cycle and that’s impossible to clean due to how it folds, leading to mold. Apparently it’s a design flaw. Has Ninja addressed this?
I was really excited when this first came out and "knew" this was a must have. However, once I found out that it requires sugar, and a good amount at that, I had to rule it out. 😢 I have been working very hard to remove as much sugar from my life as possible for health reasons, so I don't need something sitting on my counter encouraging me to be bad. So sad. But the good news is that I can still have many wonderful deserts and frozen concoctions with my Ninja Creami that don't require any sugar at all. 🤠🥳👌 Thanks for a great review though. 😎👍
@@escheidl totally fair!! I’m actually in the experimentation process right now of how to make “healthy” (low calorie, low sugar, high protein) slushies. But it’s a new world to me so I don’t have much to recommend just yet, but once I do, you can expect a video on it from me 😊
@@ourfavoritefinds I hope you can and more power to ya. I watched one TH-camr try it using a diet beverage and it just kept freezing up on the condenser tube. He had to add so much sugar to it to make it stop that at that point it became moot. But if you can do it I'm all eyes and ears. 👀👂😀 I'll be on the lookout. 😊
Ninja has just come out with some sugar free recipes on their site. One example is diet soda using liquid allulose and lemon juice. Would love to see some of those recipes tested.
It doesn't require sugar!! Any liquid that freezes can be made into a slushie/shake. Choose anything sugar free and go for it! OR use sugar replacements in place of sugar in recipes!
Have you experienced any of the mold issues with this device? TH-cam Channel "Know Your Produce" posted a video titled "Ninja Slushi Cleaning Issue, received new vessel, same issue.." And I just ordered the device from target. I am trying to figure out if I should keep or return the thing.
Anyone else experienced their Slushi shutting off mid-operation and the Temp LEDs flashing in descending order? From every error I've seen, the device usually doesn't shut down?? My Slushi literally turns off after like 3 mins of mixing. I'm using a beverage that I've already used before and it always worked perfectly. Thanks for any help.
for the best texture for cola slushies at home i reccomend chris young's slushie guide he recently uploaded, it requires a gum in order to trap the CO2 in the soda to create a lighter, frothier slushie
Warning to potential buyers...the lever on top means you need more clearance than just the height of the machine. My cabinets are literally 3mm too low 😭 Most likely the slightly smaller Walmart-exclusive machine would have been a better choice for me. The Walmart model is cheaper, too. Has a few fewer presets but does the same stuff.
We have the WM one. It’s still close to bottom of cabinets, but since you’re filling on top, you’d have to slide it out regardless. That’s the downfall for me. It’s a big appliance so makes sense to keep out, but it takes up room! Still liking it and experimenting.
I love them too, and we just got our slushi a week ago. Tried one, but we used the mixer and tequila, which I just do not like. (Mixers) I like from scratch ones, but can’t find a recipe for the slushi machine. Maybe just use my recipe and try that, BUT it says alcohol content up to 15% I think. I use 1800 which is way higher. Tried a hurricane, but needs tweaking. May try the strawberry daiquiri tonight.
At least you mentioned the noise. I've been looking at the GSEICE version as nobody can get the ninja and I want to know how loud it is as one brand was loud.
Guys, its a commercial video !!!! So dont believe anything he said, he's paid for it. You can buy dozens of similar tool for 30-50 bucks, since many years. The only quality you need is food, it make 100% of the taste, not this ninja thing.
I JUST tested 4 new ninja slushi recipes! Watch here --> th-cam.com/video/qkYrXlWbHHM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Dbljzrx9JOlto299
As much $$$ that I spend at 7/11 especially during Summer…YES! Getting this
@@elonr1018 Right?! There was a time period in high school for me where I went to 7/11 4 or 5 times a week 😅

It’s a slushie machine and not carbonated like slurpees.
You can have carbonated drinks with it 😂@@JayNZ4
Managed to snipe one at today’s restock. Can’t wait to try it when I get it.
Lmao you too huh💀
Huge!!
This is the best thing ever invented. Addicted and can't get enough 😅😂
What’s your favorite recipe so far?!
Too expensive
I appreciate you for watching! Do you own a Ninja Slushi, or are you considering getting one?
I signed up for the waiting list today😊
@DJJimmieM they are back in stock. Purchased mine 20mins ago
@@kevinmcdonald8030 from where? They have been OOS I have been on a waiting list.

Just an FYI, when making our first drink, a ‘Rita, it said it’d take 20 minutes, but was done in 10.
love that the music was blasting while you "moved closer so the mic could pick up the slushing sound"
Sorry about that!! It's honestly really quiet!
Brilliant review!!! I love the ninja products!
Thanks so much! Me too, top tier company 💪

I haven’t noticed this too much yet personally!
I haven’t noticed either. Time will tell, I guess.
I just got one and tried a Starry sprite slushie. Its on point!!!! No lost of taste either. Definitely worth the money.
Ooh ingredients?!
Frappe recipe please❤

You need to pour everything in the top anyways, so it couldn't fit.

@@ourfavoritefinds Do you need the difference explained to you?
@@BFizzi719😭
Can you make it diet though?
It does require some quantity of 'sugar' but I haven't tried diet drinks yet, will try it out!
You need either sugar OR booze for the consistency
At least you mentioned the noise. I've been looking at the GSEICE version as nobody can get the ninja and I want to know how loud it is as one brand was loud.
No problem! I honestly was surprised how quiet it is!
Does it work the same way with Diet soda? Or does it need the sugar for slushee consistency?
I haven't tried diet soda yet, but I know there needs to be some sort of sugar content
I liked it ok, but when I made the milkshake I ended up with butter bits.
What the?! Did you mix it for a very long time?
Just use a blender ice and xhantan gum and you will get that texture
Will you really? Interesting..
$300? Where? Is $445 at Walmart
On their website it's $300! (USD)
