in the 80s we had one of those potato fry cutters, but it was mounted on the wall with a mop handle for more leverage. My mom ran an arcade, and made tons of french fries in the 80s thanks to that thing.
A warning, the AnySharp knife sharper works. Just DON'T use it on your best (expensive) knives. It's ideal for cheap potato or fruit knives but not for your best knives as eventually it will damage the edge in a way only professional knife sharpeners can fix.
I recently bought an oil dispenser and I am very happy with my purchase. I decided to order four more for members of my family as a gift for Christmas.
This was useful and comedic all at the same time! The mispronunciations by the AI had me rolling laughing 😂. I actually saw two things that would be quite useful that I just placed an order for. So thank you!
I have one of those potato peelers myself and they do work very well but just make sure your potato or apple or whatever fruit you're planning to or veg that you're planning to peel doesn't have any odd bumps or lumps also bear in mind the top the very top and the very bottom will not get peeled you'll still have to fix those but yes it is really good and I recommend it. I do not know if it is the same one that they have their but I have two different versions of the same one because I was trying them both out to see which one would be the better buy I found the one that comes with the extra blades is the better buy but they're pretty much identical other than that... And yes there are dozen like it on Amazon.
How lazy ARE you? Don't you ever have leftovers, or buy bulk cheese, or break up bulk packages of meat? This could be saving you tons of money. I bought a Weston, it was $400 and is still running like an old workhorse today.
@@MikePenceFly I don’t buy meat, because I’m a vegetarian, but I do wrap my cut cheese blocks in saran wrap before putting them in freezer bags and suck the air out with a straw before freezing them. Same goes for fresh fruit, etc. A straw works well enough in storing food I’ve found.
I am laughing so much upon finding out that apparently so many people hate getting pickle juice on their fingers when they pull a pickle out of a jar. I mean, there were MULTIPLE gadgets to save people from getting their fingers wet. 😂
I don’t buy meat (I’m a vegetarian), but I’ve found that using a straw to suck the air out of a ziploc bag with food inside works well enough. And a straw doesn’t require all that precious kitchen real estate.
scamazon sells garbage products from china drop shippers. i bought a pump sprayer after the acid ruined my last one, there were like TEN "stores" selling the same thing. 90% of scamazon's products are just garbage.
The watermelon slicer has been tried out and it does work, and I would say it's only good if you are handicapped because it only requires one hand however a simple knife will do the same thing.
The hot dog dicer was tried out on several different places and was found to be wanting in the fact that it didn't completely go through the hot dog and in some cases didn't exactly fit the hot dog.
29:52 you can do the same with a metal spoon .just rub your fingers on the spoon under cold water and wala no more stinky onion, garlic or anything else that stays on your fingers.
I like for my heavy appliances to stick to the counter. If there is an earthquake (which happens from time to time), it won't slide off the counter & break.
I looked it up and that picture is faked on the product itself. It's actually just a regular peeler with three heads that can be exposed one at a time. There's no handle, there's no hole in the middle for anything - that's where you turn it to expose the peeler head you want to use.. They have that picture in the pictures for the product, but no other picture shows anything other than a handle-less three-headed peeler. It can make shreds, but not by putting a potato in the middle and turning a handle - you just peel like any other peeler, just without any decent ergonomics. This was my first double clickbait experience.
If you have dogs be careful with the automatic trash can. My dog easily figured it out and would open it and take food out of the garbage. I think they do make some with a dog locking feature.
That popcorn maker you show toward the end has been tried out on sorted with amusing results in the fact that it was seen as an extremely dangerous machine.
Some of these are funny. You have the metal drying rack that sits over the top of the sink, they then dry it down and rinse it before putting it away...why dry it if you are going to get it wet? And who stores opened pickles in the cupboard or freezer???
I am laughing so much upon finding out that apparently so many people hate getting pickle juice on their fingers when they pull a pickle out of a jar. I mean, there were MULTIPLE gadgets to save people from getting their fingers wet. 😂
I'm picturing kitchens all over filled with some of the most ridiculous gadgets ever made. Now living their lives in a junk drawer, back of a closet, landfill, whatever. The only thing I wash after shredding chicken or pork is two forks and they work beautifully lol.
All those jar openers? Save money by buying a pair of latex dishwashing gloves with the texture, slap it on your hand, grab your jar, and voila - open jar.
'ever wondered if there was something that could help you pour oil without having to lift the bottle it came in' no.. in fact I don't think that's a question the human race has ever asked ngl, also you have to lift the bottle to pour it into the spray bottle anyway
Ok. I've heard some errors in this but none so GLARINGLY OBVIOUS (so far) than the popcorn popper he said has to be used in a microwave with a turntable when you can actually see the chord on the bottom of the popper when they tip it over.
The popcorn maker shown has a clearly visible cord. I have it. You can't put it in the microwave it's electric. It is a very good popper though. No need for microwaves this is so easy to use.
Why so many gadgets to slice hotdogs and bananas? Are they really that hard to slice? I noticed a lot of gadgets for food prep for kids. I'd rather not buy and get rid of the kid too.

Weird! Recently, I received a Temu freebie item from Walmart; I've never ordered anything from Walmart. I've seen all these items on Temu. Now Amazon is offering & delivering Temu goods? Are Amazon & Walmart now what Temu is calling their "local provider"? Or, maybe it's the other way round? Amazon/Walmart vendors are selling on Temu? Guess is a matter of doing whatever works these days.
Well, the products Walmart no longer sells like the older Pioneer Woman Products for example, they sell them at Aldi and on TEMU, known as Close - out products! But, Amazon has always sold products like this but, all the products TEMU sell come from the same factories as where Amazon and Walmart get them, it’s no different than, what they sell on TEMU! TEMU might be slightly cheaper but, TEMU has been raising their prices for quite sometime now! 28:19
My husband received the bento box you show toward the end of this video you called it a lunch box well that's pretty much what it is although Japanese style and honestly it's my husband got one as a gift it's pretty cool because it does come with a knife and fork well spork really and I can't remember remember if it's on the spoon or if it's on the 4th that there is a blade like a knife that you can use for cutting things it's quite nice that comes in various colors obviously although honestly the lid is not as reliable as you make it appear and I need the lid that holds the fork and spoon. I have never tried out the thing about holding your phone with it but I think I'll give that a try.

Ron Popeil would be proud of this
How did you make 'Ron Popeil' searchable on TH-cam? Or is that just something TH-cam premium does
Potato peeler is great, I have it. Not crazy about cleaning it, but when you are doing a lot of potatoes it really speeds things along.
