They should implement a mechanism where you can enter the pocket safely with head movement walking forward. I never played this game yet but I’ve watched a lot of gameplay of it and I’ve noticed there’s only two ways to enter the pocket either by walking chin up straight into the pocket like paddy pimblet or entering the pocket with a high guard covering your face like Justin gaethjee. And both of them are risky and not dangerous for the opponent. In my opinion you should be dangerous entering the pocket like Mike Tyson. You shouldn’t be this much vulnerable entering the pocket. So yeah they should have this option where you can move forward moving your head left right or down with a pretty loose guard ready to throw some punches. also buff the block damage to encourage people to use more head movement and block less. Also increase the vulnerability when people throw unrealistic combos like 3 cross in a row or 3 left body hooks in a row , you should be punished real bad for spamming by being dropped if you get countered perfectly. And last but not least decrease the accuracy of punches thrown against player when they are moving their heads. (make them miss) and increase the accuracy of punches thrown against a player who is just holding the block button and increase the block damage for blocking for too long. The game will be more technical this way
If you want to box(or be a distance fighter) at this point seems impossible to throw the jab at a distance without getting sucked in closer to your opponent. Also, at this point it seems hard to determine what is an effective punch that an opponent will respect and back off.
I find it kinda funny he doesn’t ever throw haymakers but consistently talks about lack of power lol . Not even using the mechanic in the game for devastating blows
When martial discovers swaying, footwork, combining moving strikes and sidestepping counters hopefully he'll see that the game is much more than what is being presented
@@NorthsideChizzy No it doesn't. I didn't need a haymaker to rock him. I rocked him MULTIPLE times with regular shots and then finished him off with an overhand. In this same video, I explained clearly why I don't throw haymakers unless as a means to end an already rocked opponent or an opponent who is completely stationary. Because they whiff extremely easily, cost a lot of Stamina, and are not powerful enough on their own to consistently cause a rock so the risk to reward ratio makes no sense. I made all that clear in this video.

Might be a dumb comment from me apologies beforehand, with the moving back and strike I do believe you can hit Job/cross/hook+back to do said strike (controls may be other way around) like I do moving left/right shifting strikes all the time to confuse opponents
Game looks sharp. I haven’t bought it yet due to the many improvements they can make. I feel like some of these shots they take should stun them or at least make them feel more impactful. Every hit feels like it does the same amount of damage if any at all.
Yeah that’s my only problem with the game for me. Not enough impact with shots. I don’t like how you can’t drop someone with a good counter. You have to hit them with a ton of stuff to rock them first & then get them. It would be so fresh to be able to have more knockdowns from timed combos before they are rocked. I feel you would get more unique knockdowns with the ragdoll effects

The Fighter selection menu looks dope. The all in all graphics ain't so bad. But the damn movements makes me feel like I'm watching a slap bot tournament with the rtx on

Canelo just doesn't make sense as a Cruiserweight and it's that simple. Being only 5'9 he should never be anything above a Middleweight. Jones is a small Cruiserweight and he's like 6ft.

Crazy how fight night came out better years ago.. But still looks way better than this. The punching animation on Fight night was so good.
Roy Jones Jr is so easy to use for me and he’s super fun to use also.
It looks like with Roy lead right it would be better to throw quick jab right behind it to cancel the rest of that lengthy animation 🤷🏽♂️
