Here in Pensacola he shops where we all shop, he will talk to every fan till they are gone, he even visited my house to meet my stepfather to obtain buckets for his animals and when he visited his father was with him and they brought photos and autographed them for us kids and even came inside our house to watch a episode of a prime time tv show he was literally guest starring on. Hes way more intuitive and smart then I thought, been a fan forever this guy is a goat level fighter, but I didnt understand how smart Roy is, the way he can take lessons and learn things from nature and the environment and people around him is a skill in itself..critical thinking and able to see from different perspectives, makes sense how he was such a great fighter.
Humble? He has taken every perceived negative in his life and spun them like a politician on crack. This is all a performance. I love Roy, but the journey from goat to punchbag has led him to create mental walls around reality.

I've been watching Jre for years and this is one of the best I've seen. This is my third time watching it. Roy Jones is fascinating and Joes knowledge of boxing history pulls it together. He should get Roy back on.
He was talking about his dad trying to control his career and training and then gave an analogy about nature. He was saying that male squirrels would bite the testes off their sons to remain dominant. He then explained how in life, it's important to not let people or anyone do that to you because you loose a big part of yourself. I just thought that it was cool how he pointed out that many men are "nuetered" by society and other factors, which leads some young men to become unmotivated and lazy.
I’m not really a fight fan but I am a Roy Jones fan. What a fantastic attitude, if half of us had just half of the great attitude that Roy has we’d be better, happier, and the best that this country, world has ever been. What an inspirational human being, my God I love that guy.

He was saying that male squirrels would bite the testes off their sons to remain dominant. He then explained how in life, it's important to not let people or anyone do that to you because you loose a big part of yourself. I just thought that it was cool how he pointed out that many men are "nuetered" by society and other factors, which leads some young men to become unmotivated and lazy.
