Myles is just one of a kind
Yes! The mighty Alter Bridge with Myles F’N Kennedy in my top 5 rock vocalists - ever! Huge range, control, and pitch - all while playing lead and rhythm guitar at the same time! Meanwhile- Mark Tremonti’s riffs, guitar solos and backing vocals are just magnificent! Beautiful harmonies and big choruses with these guys.
Too many great songs to list!
Anyone wanting to check them out - Their first 5 albums are absolutely amazing! Just start at their first ‘one day remains’ (most like Creed but with better singer and more guitars and solos), and hear them evolve for the better with each successive album beginning with the fantastic’Blackbird’ record.
I’m an old 70’s 80’s and 90’s hard rock and metal guy and only discovered these guys about 5 years ago. I haven’t looked back! Favorite band!
Probably the best hard rock band in the world right now. Myles Kennedy is one of the great rock vocalists of all time, up there with Chris Cornell. Robert Plant, Layne Staley and Jeff Buckley.
No one can touch Myles, today, as a vocalist. Heck, a lot of folks can't touch him as a guitarist. Myles also sang with Slash and did some stints with GNR. Myles has a jazz guitarist background, also. He had a cameo appearance in the movie "Rock Star" as the kid singing in the audience and then the lead singer asks him to come on stage and sing. You could see his chops there. Alter Bridge, to me, is uplifting and always positive. My favorite songs by them are "Blackbird" and "Shed My Skin." A rare band who sounds better live than on album.
1st solo is Myles, 2nd solo is Mark. This is my favorite AB song. Epic. And so many awesome songs.
Alter Bridge are one of the best bands atm, in my very heavily biased opinon they are the most under-rated band in the world.

No idea if any member of the channel is checking these comments a week later, but literally EVERY song from their album Blackbird is worth reviewing. The title song Blackbird has an incredible dual guitar solo.

Watched the entire concert at Royal Albert Hall. Amazing. Myles Kennedy’s voice WOW. With Mark Tremonti also WOW. You need to play more Alter Bridge. PLEASE!!
You really need to hear Miles Kennedy live. I agree with those recommending "Words Darker Then Their Wings". (Live from Royal Albert Hall and featuring the Parallax Orchestra. It's unbelievable. Tremendous vocals by Kennedy and Tremonti, and beautifully arranged with the orchestra behind the band.) Both Kennedy and Tremonti have huge bodies of work as songwriters. More of Kennedy can be heard with Slash and the Conspirators, as well as his solo projects, and his older stuff with the Mayfield Four. Tremonti (the group formed by Mark Tremonti) released its fifth album in 2021 (Marching in Time), and Mark released "Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra" in 2022 as a charity project to raise funds for the National Down syndrome Society (this several months prior to the release of Alter Bridge's latest, Pawns and Kings.) Mark does all the (Sinatra) vocals and is paired up with many members of Sinatra's old band. To date, I think there have been four live Sinatra shows. His Sinatra work is mind-blowingly good, and something one would never expect from a kick-ass rock guitarist. (Of course, who would have expected him to write a science fiction novel--A Dying Machine, with accompanying concept album of the same name--but he did that, too. All of that is in addition to his past work with Creed.) These guys are phenomenal. Tremendous song-writers, musicians, and great human beings... with an insane work ethic.
Saw them twice this yr. The way they come out and so effortlessly play and are all in synch and having a good time is simply amazing. They are all epic musicians and so damn nice it's actually perplexing lol

Words Darker Than Their Wings Live - holy shit vocal high note bridge -
They've been selling out arenas in Europe for years - the states are JUST NOW catching on, they're selling out everywhere. Wild. Myles was at Rock City Music (Spokane, WA) when I bought my first guitar, and told me to never sell it, and coincidentally Blackbird is about the owner of THAT guitar shop - this would have been right after his band Citizen Swing, maybe EARLY Mayfield Four days (Mayfield Four is the reason the Creed boys know him).
I'd say the best part about these guys? How humble they are. Literally the nicest most down to earth people ever. ZERO complex.
Also - Myles is the touring vocalist with Slash - bonus fact - back in the early days Myles used to go around Karaoke bars in Spokane WA and sing all kinds of stuff, most memorably GNR. Now? He's actually singing the songs with Slash foreal.
Now with the release of Pawns and Kings? Shit. You're catching them as they blow up and everyone that's known them from 2004 or Myles projects previous, I KNOW share the sentiment of "it's about damn time".

Myles Kennedy has insane vocal range and Mark Tremonti is an Incredible guitarist!!! Both of them are humble and stand up guys!! The real deal!! So Talented!!
Mark Tremonti has also sang some Frank Sinatra songs (covers) that sound freaking awesome!! Such as "Fly Me To The Moon", "I've Got You Under My Skin", and "My Way". Hope you guys check them out.

Great acoustic opening! Good transition... Sounds like a 90s grunge/ alternative song. Like the drum fill between chorus and 2nd verse. The drum cadence stays throughout 2nd verse... Good song, never heard the group as Alter Bridge, but have heard Creed. Someone recommended them on your livestream. Reminded me of Avenge Sevenfold towards the end (musically). Abrupt ending. Deciding whether it is going on playlist - but a solid song!
I know it's a late comment but y'all need to do more more Alter Bridge. So many incredible songs on so many albums. Blackbird needs to be done but Pawns and Kings from their newest album along with Sin after Sin is incredible.
If you're still watching WWE, the theme for the Judgment Day is also Alter Bridge. I believe Edge knows Mark Tremonti. When Tremonti had written some music for the first AB album, he played some for Edge just to see what he thought. Edge liked Metalingus and he asked if he could use it. Tremonti didn't hesitate.
