Unbelievable PATTAYA Resort - CAMPING on The Beach

- Today we check-in to The Beach House Camp resort, just South of Pattaya and try an evening camping on the beach. The resort is very unique in that the rooms are all travel trailers, also known as campers, or caravans. We get the VIP camper closest to the beach to enjoy the full experience. I'll show you all the quirks of the camper as we enjoy an evening under the starts. Enjoy the Ride!

Amazing that someone imported those caravans from the UK. The import duty must have been horrendous.
Yeah imported for sure from UK note door position & power points, but l thought it was a brilliant set up much prefer that to a 3* box in a concrete block.
Yes, but depending on the category, for example, don't think they would be counted as a vehicle because not being registered nor used on the roads. So maybe not too bad, not sure.

Had many a happy holiday in one of these over the years with my young kids who loved caravanning. Little spell of UK weather to add to the experience of staying in a UK built van thrown in too, along with getting cold in the night! Great video, thanks.

That's a good idea when you go in a group. First person in gets the nicest place, so you have a good place to meet and eat. Everyone else just gets a cheap place to sleep.

Camping is great with friend’s where you can sit outside and cook a meal and eat together that’s what makes it great.

AMAZING find! WOW! I never would have thought this was an option in Thailand! Interesting to me as in US, travel trailers are a hot commodity right now along with RV's, so yes, you were Glamping on the beach :) I noticed the AC unit was a mini-split which is unusual here, but they are more efficient, and I think you can use them for heat as well, in case you get a storm or colder... I live in USA and have a 37-foot Travel Trailer camper I use with my kids all the time. It is great fun. I have always talked about what it is like to camp with my Thai girlfriend who always loves seeing pictures of my camper (she was born and raised in Pattaya). As soon as I saw this video I sent it to her saying, "We can experience camping with each other just south of Jomtien!". I am really excited to take her "camping" when I come next time.

Good show...RV camping is big in Canada in the summer.Its probably not going to take off here for a few reasons. Hotel rooms are cheap, no place to properly dump the waste holding tank, you must have power to run an a/c unit, no or few organized camp sites.
The bib would have a field day with tickets unless properly registered and insured...Which vehilcle would you tow it with...anyway that place looks lovely...
Cheers from Padre Island Texas , i have been glam camping for 30 yrs. , living aboard 2 sail and 1 sport fish yacht ( all 40 ft. ) and currently a 40 ft. motor coach , F Type Jaguar and a car trailer ( all debt free ) at beach front RV Resort , now retired with a descent income and if i sold my toys , pocket the cash and lease a condo in Jomtien !!?? but i already on a nice TEX MEX caribe beach , can get world class ganja lol , rent a young latina girlfriend and i would miss my Jaguar lol , fun videos !!!

If the smaller caravan was being used properly, the bed would be folded away and the sitting area would be there. Caravans are all about efficient use of space 😏
I think a dedicated bed is better than having to play cushion Tetris every night, then put on sheets.

Those are what we Brits call CARAVANS, which we tow along with our car, hence the 3 pin socket as we use here in the UK
We also have 'static caravans' which are like caravans but we dont tow them behind our car, they have wheels, but they are normally jacked up on bricks, stilts etc and are a lot bigger than caravans we tow.
Glad you enjoyed the 'British' way of how some of us take our holidays...LOL

looks like a fun place, here in the USA a great many RV's are built at the North end of Indiana, but there are also a few other spots of manufacturing for them.

you can always buy travel power blocks that have built-in USB ports. I go a decent once off Lazada a few years ago and it just reduces the number of chargers that one needs to bring with, just cables. Newer blocks also have USB-C and are PD compatible.

Its uk power socket, 3 prong. Your bed converts into seating but looks like they made it a full time bed. Looks great, I'll need to try it out next trip lol

Not a problem to tow a trailer here . I own one and travel all over Thailand. In fact I am posting this from inside my rig now.
This was a pretty cool change of scenery for Pattaya I think. I’ve seen similar camper set up in some other places around TH, In Chiang Mai and some other provinces. Looked like a lot of fun with more people. 👍
I always carry a power strip made with parts from a local electrical shop instead of store bought ready made. Smaller, lighter and cheaper. I also carry a couple multiple USB port chargers and 3M charger cables from Mr. DIY.

In my travels around Thailand l've seen a few caravans being towed, so it's not illegal, but haven't seen too many caravan parks. There are a lot of National parks with good camping facilities so I imagine you could camp no problems.
In my travels around Thailand I have seen Motorcycles cross the bridges in Bangkok and ride across restricted overpasses. But I never assumed it was legal because I saw someone else do it. I think the general industry here is against it for whatever reason. Perhaps to protect the hotels, I don't know but I would think there should be much more evidence of caravan camping around if it were a legal practice.

that was a great alternative. would be nice to see more of these types.... most people know about the regular hotels but nothing like this. people have to remember not compare them to hotels and the big rooms you get. These are camper trailers and they are compact. thanks again and stay safe.

Not in a million years would I go camping in Thailand. I've seen bears from my tent in the usa and they turn tail and run when they see you. A spitting cobra will use you for target practice in your sleep just for funsies.

My kinda of vacation! I’m mixed Roma/Gypsy/Traveler...so in the uk it’s known as ‘caravanning’ the RGT community call em a trailer or a wagon...
