A few years ago I learned to make Macarons and made them for a French party in our vintage shop. I made raspberry, pistachio, and passion fruit Macarons for the event. It took me a couple of weeks and many trial batches to perfect my recipes. Sadly, a wildfire took our home and business three years ago. I lost my macaron mats and hand-written recipes with notes. Since then, we landed well on a beautiful mountain vineyard property with a large kitchen, but I haven’t had the heart to start over with the Macaron baking. This vlog has totally inspired me, and I have Molly’s book and some new mats in my Amazon cart. Thank you for relighting this fire in me. I love, love, love this channel! ❤️

I love your aprons!!! They're very French wallpaper, and they are all different. And they kind of go together in a weird way, maybe. Maybe because they are all wallpaper prints!
Also, when you told Alexa to set the timer for fifteen minutes, my Alexa in my house started its timer LOL. Maybe my volume is on too high.
My Alexa also started the timer from a room away! haha!!

I LOVE making macarons! Even here in my town in California we have two patisseries which make some lovely macarons from scratch. Once you figure out the method, it’s pretty straightforward and super impressive to serve to guests.

i have been seeing the cookie or pastry. I remember having some my from a line of french descendant grandma. never so pretty or colorful. and not double cookie. So it was nice to learn how they are made. Your chef has such a pleasant look. So clear. did love divinity that they also liked to make. We always had the advantage of fresh eggs which is necessary for a good whip..
