Phillip, nothing wrong with your method of marking the doors for the handles, I have a store bought jig that is surprisingly similar. Using a tape measure is probably less accurate. I suspect that the drill bit moved just as it started (ask me how I know). The trick is to make a pencil mark as small as possible then use a punch, preferably the automatic centering kind, to make a cone shaped dent in the wood so that the drill bit is forced to start exactly where it needs to. The door handles do not have to be very far off to be noticeable. I also test mine on scrap would before I start putting holes in the cabinet to be sure that I will like the result.

Phillip, I feel your pain. I sew quilts and mine no matter how many times I measure before I cut, always work out wonky some way or other. I call it "handmade". My husband who is a carpenter, who measures things to the exact millimeter always notices straight away if it's not straight, or one bit is a bit off-center to the rest. Just thinking you have a nice gap at the top of the washing machine where you could fit a pull out sliding shelf to rest your laundry basket on when taking the clothes out of the drier. Just a thought.
A little tip for mixing small amounts of concrete. Use a eggbeater paddle attached to a drill. The paddle is food grade stainless steel and can be washed easily. It makes light work of mixing and with the variable speed of the drill, you can really control mixing rate. Use a round bucket and just like mixing up anything in the kitchen, you can get to all the edges for a fully mixed product.
You two! Comedy is the hardest film discipline and you are brilliant at it! As well as being hard workers! You are very courageous to use MDF in your laundry room. It's much cheaper than wood and your units do look lovely but, if there's any kind of water spillage on the floor or pipe leakages, you could end up with severe swelling and disintegration of the MDF. I learned the hard way.

A lot of these chateau shows don’t show all of the work that goes into the renovations and preservation of these beautiful but crumbling chateaus, but you two have. I cannot believe how much you have done so far, and I’m sure that is only the tip of the iceberg (probably a lot more we don’t see). Great job, both of you! Maybe you can put the word out and have some other YT decorating artists and let them come and help do some of the work, so you two can get a well-deserved mini-staycay! My husband has a more old fashioned way but a similar effect. That gives a grip for the drill bit.

Just thinking you have a nice gap at the top of the washing machine where you could fit a pull out sliding shelf to rest your laundry basket on when taking the clothes out of the drier. Just a thought.

Phillip has influence me to fill up every hole in the house with concrete.
A little tip for mixing small amounts of concrete. Use a eggbeater paddle attached to a drill. The paddle is food grade stainless steel and can be washed easily. It makes light work of mixing and with the variable speed of the drill, you can really control mixing rate. Use a round bucket and just like mixing up anything in the kitchen, you can get to all the edges for a fully mixed product.

Anna hope you feel better very soon. You are such a hard worker. Anymore, at my age colds or illness in general knocks me on my butt, I don’t know how you manage all you do especially with a young family. Phillip does a lot of different tasks that requires a lot of work too. He is such a character.

You do like to live dangerously, don't you, what with using Anna's fabric scissors (utter sacrilege) and then the closing scenes! I was interlining some curtains last week but hadn't ordered enough fabric and my husband called me Philipp! Waaaaaaaaa! You are truly an influencer. We're really enjoying the videos, makes our day when a new one appears.
It must have been editing magic, when you were putting the sink and cleaning machines into place, I could have sworn the space provided was too small! Well done!
I've been around designers all my life and hands down you are the first I see so hands ON! Mostly are like " oh I lost a button on my Marc Jacobs blouse" , or "can anyone open this jar please" with the please being an option ! Brava ! Would love to know you Tollens paint colour, looks like what I need for my drawing room? I just built a whole wall of open shelving in the kitchen to display my old china and now have to sand the screw and nails hole filler and prime then paint at least two coats and am dreading it, do you know of any Ana's for hire ?

You are very courageous to use MDF in your laundry room. It's much cheaper than wood and your units do look lovely but, if there's any kind of water spillage on the floor or pipe leakages, you could end up with severe swelling and disintegration of the MDF. I learned the hard way.
If looks could kill, Lol! Anna needs a space to create and do her textiles and wallpapers and that’s not the room with a washer and dryer! The laundry room turned out great though, but that one knob was wonky! Love you guys and wishing you, the girls and your families a very Merry Christmas!🎄🎁 💕
A lot of these chateau shows don’t show all of the work that goes into the renovations and preservation of these beautiful but crumbling chateaus, but you two have. I cannot believe how much you have done so far, and I’m sure that is only the tip of the iceberg (probably a lot more we don’t see). Great job, both of you! Maybe you can put the word out and have some other YT decorating artists and let them come and help do some of the work, so you two can get a well-deserved mini-staycay! I love the music and love the banter and funny things we get to see and hear along the course of each “show”. I am sure not to put you guys on my iPad before I go to sleep, because I don’t want to miss a thing! 🥰
