I am using the loadcell mod with the brake mod and SRP accessory kit. Works well, but haven't received a stand yet to give an honest review. It is possible to use those pedals on the floor against something, but need to give them a little angle so the pedal's plate doesn't raise - I am using the pedals against a sofa (+ created a slight angle from the cardboards received from Moza), however I can make the sofa slide if using too much force. It works, but definitely takes time to get used with such a volatile setup, better to immobilize those pedals. Anyway, SRP accessory kit can be used for additional stiffness.
@krizz0rr yeah you certainly need to mount the pedals as you make them stiffer! A rig gets to be vital at a certain point, and I'm lucky to have a dedicated space!
Hi K, you definitely need a stand to use loadcells I'm sure I didn't skip this aspect when we spoke - you need to be able to consistently apply force on the sensor so a sliding pedalbase will negate the benefits. That's the piece that unbolts from the bottom plate of the performance kit. It's worth a try! you might like a pedal with less travel and don't even know it. @Derekpa8 in the video I talk specifically about the usecase of someone who already has the lite pedals and performance mod, in which case I think an extra £60 for the loadcell mod makes perfect sense as an upgrade as the other money has already been spent. I agree that I would not recommend someone looking at new pedal sets to buy this combination. I think the new simagic P500 for example might be a great option.
@christiankobain2874 haha that must be the diamond encrusted gold one! Its around $66 I think... perhaps the website is messed up, I'm not sure what currency it is showing for you but for me it shows euros?
I won't advise anyone to buy Moza things ever, they did not even try to RMA my broken R5 brake pedal correctly. It took them from April 30th to July 11th, 2024 to get me a working brake pedal again, and you know that the issue is a persistent issue/reoccurring error (in all their brake pedal models) they should have already fixed for all users. And if you are one of the lucky ones who had a good RMA service, think about those who have been left with next to no service from Moza (China)or their intermediaries (Rseat France/Germany (in my case the intermediary of Hardware Experts, the Netherlands)))and their retailers (in my case: Hardware experts, Lelystad, the Netherlands( Bram Nijs & Jorgo Rinu)). Never buy their products if you want to play it safe. This video proves this brake pedal circuitry is no rocket science by any means
@petermaardananders6803 thanks for sharing your experience. I had great support from Moza via gtomega here in the UK when I first got my bundle, but as you say its totally different depending on distributor / going via china etc! Its tough because they are obviously making these things cheap to reach a wider market, which is good, but the downside is its not as robust. I've got very robust kit now that I hope will last me a lifetime!

@@alexlupascu3605 So it is from Romania, nice to know, i fell better now if i manage to buy the R5 bundle. thanks that you clarified

I just purchased the mod, how long did it take for you to receive it? It says it is currently on back order and I am curious.
Hi @SebJ2522 the mod was sent to me for free as a reviewer so that wont be relevent, but I know that the mods are made by hand and Alien-mods are waiting on materials to start on the next batch, hopefully some others can comment on delivery times, but I saw someone order one after my review came out and they got it in a few days! Im sure you will enjoy it a lot, will be worth a little wait! :)
@@MichaelSmithRaces Ahh thank you! By any chance, do you know anyway to contact the seller of the mod? On the website there is no way of contacting them.
@@SebJ2522 Hello! I emailed you!
Hello! I sent you an email!
@@alexlupascu3605 I see! Thanks for the quick response!
Will it work on Xbox?
@lennyb0399 yes it does!
@@MichaelSmithRacesthank you!
At this price we mite as well just buy a load cell peddle
@Derekpa8 in the video I talk specifically about the usecase of someone who already has the lite pedals and performance mod, in which case I think an extra £60 for the loadcell mod makes perfect sense as an upgrade as the other money has already been spent. I agree that I would not recommend someone looking at new pedal sets to buy this combination. I think the new simagic P500 for example might be a great option.
my mod g920 pedals are better than my r5 moza pedals
Yeah im not suprised @scp-foundation-wz2 the lite pedals are the weakpoint of the bundle IMO but its so they can be used without being mounted
I’m sorry if I’m stupid but I converted the price to usd and it’s 6.6 thousand dollars? lol no way
@christiankobain2874 haha that must be the diamond encrusted gold one! Its around $66 I think... perhaps the website is messed up, I'm not sure what currency it is showing for you but for me it shows euros?
That sounds like Uganda usd lol or it their delivery charge haha 😅
It cost me a little under 100$ to get shipped out to Seattle WA, but I'm excited to try it out 🤟
@@JoshuaCox-hh8mi same mine was £94.00 uk pounds but still waiting on it
Xbox ?
@GEORGIVS100 @gotem_stuck says it does work in a comment below!
