great job, where is your location on UAE
Thank you . Dubai
Hello, good job. Is it necessary to use new gasket for pan? I am not getting new gasket here in india, my car is nissan sunny cvt. Ran 1,08000km. Never opened pan. Service centre people said, its life time fluid , no need to change. They are not willing to change it. One of he experienced mechanic out side nisaan Service is ready to do, but i cant get pan gasket. It is ok to reuse old gasket
No you need a new one, I wouldn’t risk it reusing the old one. Might come off.
Sorry for the late reply. It is clearly mentioned in the Nissan service workshop manual that the gasket should never be reused. The video I have provided here is related to Nissan Altima 2013 cvt transmission. The CVT transmission is a very sensitive transmission and therefore can break down very quickly if not properly maintained. As far as I understand it is advisable to change the trans pan filter as well as the gasket in your Sunny around 1 lakh kms. If you re-use the gasket with silicone or any other component then it is more likely to leak.
@@ahadlivingspotThank you. Ihave checked under the car, no gasket there. Its sealed transmission with bolts. And I am not getting filter. So I am planning to change 4L through drain plug. Amsoil cvt fluid I am going to use. How is your post experience with amsoil? What is the interval for amsoil cvt fluid?
Provide me any garages in uae thats properly done.Cvt oil change
I have yet to come across a garage that does a correct CVT Fluid replacement as per NISSAN CSM, I think only dealerships do that or there are some Premium Service Garage especially in Al Quoz area ..
Can u give me location of your garage and contact details in UAE. I was actually looking for a genuine service centre to replace cvt fluid on my altima
Bro I don't have a garage I do all this in my room's parking lot and I'm not a professional mechanic. I'm just a student in this matter and just car mechanical enthusiast. but I can 100% help you with what you asked .. following my email just send hi, i will reply you along with my contact details . rvahad@gmail.com

was the car level?
Sorry I don't understand what you mean
He means was the car completely flat when you measured the fluid? If you jacked it up from the front, it would not be level since the front is up higher than the rear, making the fluid come out less from the overflow bolt
He copied off another video that goes into more detail. Not saying he did a bad job, but there are extra steps to take before starting this whole process.
