- MY2023 BRZ Aus delivered. STI style pack + Corsa catback exhaust
The exhaust sound was recorded with gopro stuck to the boot, near the exhaust outlets (except for the couple of drive pasts, of course) - not recorded internally in the car cabin.
Filmed with Fujifilm XT4 + assorted gopro's

Nice one. Some say silver is a little boring but I reckon the black STI kit sets it off well. Congrats on your purchase.

Nice review Andy. I’m 80% about to order one in Melbourne too. I’ve been told to expect 3 to 6 month wait as they are built to order. Something about getting old makes me want the car I would have loved when much younger!
Did you look at the GR86? I don’t think the GR86 has Sat Nav or the full size spare (can of goo in the boot of the one I looked at) plus longer wait and about $5k more.
Hey mate, The BRZ was available first for me out of the two and many others who were waiting on the 86 were disappointed with Toyota's pricing when finally released (plenty switched their order to BRZ instead). I'm a bit the same as you re age - if not now, then when, lol. Love my BRZ and very happy with the decision over the 86.
Hey Andy. Thanks for your video. I'll be receiving my BRZ in a few weeks time (Silver) & wanted to add more options. In your opinion, would having the front undermount spoiler only (not the whole kit) be out of place? Also, does the short shift work well?

Hey Toby - yeah, sure. Grab the front lip only if that's what you prefer. Will look great. Hard to give an opinion on the shortshifter. I mean, it works fine and feels like a nice shift but I can't compare it to standard given it was fitted at the deler prior to pickup.
@andyh5666 Thanks so much for your reply Andy. Pretty excited about getting the car. Is there any major height differences between having the front lip only and the stock side skirts?
@@TobyChich Front lip is pretty thin. Although you do need to be a bit careful with things like those square concrete blocks they put in parking spots etc. I've scrapped mine a couple of times getting used to the length of the front but no harm done.

The catback sounds real nice on the brz. Its so different from the stock.

For some reason I rarely see the oem trunk spoiler on a lot of the new brzs. Yours is the only one I've seen with that spoiler in a video and I personally think it looks nice. I just don't see why people don't get it as an option.
Yes Monkey, you either like or you don't. Aftermarket duckbill spoilers are now becoming available in my part of the world for the BRZ. What wouldn't have shown in the vid is that these STI style pack parts, despite being black, have a lovely mettalic sparkle to them which I like.

Hey mate, I can't comment on the WRX - not been lucky enough to own one in the past - I've currently got a 2020 Fiesta ST and the newer BRZ. Enjoy both for similar reasons - light, chuckable bang for buck. Good luck with your decision.

Good on you andy. Love the new car, I have a blue one and it was a toss up between that and this wonderful silver. I think its certainly the best colour for the front end, and works the best with the sti aero mods.
Cant go wrong either way, I reckon Chris.
Also, I like the big ass spare protruding in the back, gives it some old school sports car character.

I have a WR Blue S spec manual,
picked up in October (1000kms)
I'm not a fan of the STI add on bits.
The look and the price, just don't do it for me.
I did get mats and a spare wheel cover and
will make an insert for the spare to safely
and quietly store some bits and pieces within the wheel.
The sound of the exhaust from the outside shots was okay
but I'm not sure about changing mine yet, I think I would look to
different Wheels and a slightly wider (235) pilot sport.
Time will tell.
This is just my opinion but I will say this,
They are a great little car the Bee ar Zed
and it's called a boot in Oz, I know you're appealing to the US
audience, but they are just going to have to learn how WE speak,
rather than the other way around.😉👍

What do your neighbours think of that exhaust? Does it drone on the motorway?
No issues with either (although I don't have to leave early for work or anything like that. In 5th or 6th you don't really notice it.
