This is the FINAL installment of the 2020 Ducati Panigale V2 series. While I was on family vacation in West Palm Beach, FL I sporadically deiced to rent a motorcycle. It was an awesome experience and I am glad it was on the Ducati Panigale V2. It does have the stock exhaust on it, but it still sounds phenomenal! I cant imagine what an aftermarket exhaust and a tune would do for this bike. It also just looks incredible. I could not stop taking pictures of it!
In this video I do a walk around of the motorcycle and give my genuine thoughts on it. I also do a Q&A based off of questions I got from you guys on Instagram and on my “community” tab on TH-cam.
Questions asked:
How are the ergonomics? Is it comfortable?
Did you hit a max speed run on the motorcycle?
Do you still have the Yamaha R1?
Knowing what you know now, would you have bought the Yamaha R1 or the Ducati Panigale V2?

Being in the UK I have always loved the car and motorcycle culture that the USA has🤗. Also love that way there seems to be a great black riders movement in the US, with every one mixing because it's all about riding. Here in the UK we are few and far between 🤔

Honestly I own a 2014 899 panigale and have never had any reliability issues. The not starting issue you experienced is pretty strange, maybe it's a problem with the newer bikes but as a 6 year old ducati owner I cant complain about the reliability at all. Also, with the ducati comfort seat, I think it's more comfortable than the Yamaha bikes- I was deciding between the 899 and an R6 and the panigale is less aggressive clip on positions and with the comfort seat it is much more comfortable than other bikes like the r6 or the daytona 675r

Test drone a 2020 and agree amazing. Hips do not like long ride though. Wish there was a way to decrease this pain. Maybe the R1 , BMW is better in this regard?
My Ducati did that hard start and stalling thing since it was new. Then after I replaced the in-tank fuel filter with an aftermarket high flow marine fuel filter, the stalling problem was instantly fixed! Those Mahle brand fuel filters that Ducati uses are junk.

If you've had lots of experience on a Harley you could start off with any of the 600cc sport bikes and do well! Power wise the difference on the street will be negligible...if you want to do track days Id go for the R6 though! More V-Rod content is coming! R1 is the most reliable in my opinion and the best bang for your buck! #R1gang 🙌🏽. ASV levers BABY!!!
I’ll be honest I love the quick shifter also but by FAR the best I’ve tried was with the BMW S1000RR when I had the 2016 model.
Just slap an R1 engine on the Ducati frame and call it a day. Cross plane Ducati 😂.
How did you like the bar end mirrors appose to traditional mirrors?
I’ve got my asv levers but I haven’t put them on my Big Bang yet it’s winter here in UK so I don’t think I’ll get round to doing it till atleast March! I got so many new parts that need going on but just waiting for weather to get better !
@@MrVtec786 let me just add that they make a difference from stock and from cheap aftermarket levers. Shoot over to my channel I have a review and ride on my red ASV levers on the 2020 R1. They look absolutely gorgeous!!
ASV LEVERS 😂😂 Yeah, Ive heard BMW makes a better quickshifter but I havent been able to try one out yet! Maybe we can make that happen in 2021 👀 A crossplane Ducati would be literal PERFECTION bro!! TAKE MY MONEY haha 🤑 I LOVE bar end mirrors because I have broader shoulders than most people so I usually cant see anything. The bar end mirrors eliminate that AND allow you to see directly behind the bike because they're slightly concave. That's a good question...I honestly didnt notice anything extraordinary about it...but then again FL is very flat so I didnt get to test it out 😕 Plus the roads I was on were nicely paved...if I ever get the chance to ride it again I'll give you a better answer. at first i didn't really like the V2, but after watching the vids that you upload, this bike is growing on me but i will never buy it though because #1 too expensive to maintain and #2 this is a death-machine, i will not be able to ride within the speed limitations with this bike haha
I dont think ANY normal person could ride this within the speed limitations 😂 The bike just wants to GO and the quickshifter is addicting! @@FastLaneD The V2, it’s not even close..... but that’s based on my style of riding....... I’m not interested in being the fastest guy around.... I like ridin, and this one checks all the boxes... it goes to track and performs and it runs down the street well... the seating position is perfect for me (for a sport bike)... it’s less hot then the V4 class.... so if you don’t like this heat 😅😂😅😂
Long story short, besides speed, the V4 is not greater than the V2

They mostly stock too because the exhaust cost about 1/3 of the bike alone 😂

Ill check it out Dario! V4 Superleggera video looks promising as well! I hate that the camera was over-exposed...thats frustrating but the 360 cam footage looks good! When I made that comment about the top speed I meant in terms of torque...my R1 still pulls like a freight train at that speed. That's where you can really start to feel the difference between the two bikes...Im not saying the V2 isnt capable of going faster, but it just doesnt have the same torque/pull that my R1 has once you really get up into those triple digits. That's a really good question Jeff! Im having a hard time choosing...the Ducati has more of a modern, exotic look but I love the aggressive styling of my R1 with the undertail exhaust and angry sound crossplane motor. I think the fact that I rarely see V2s or V4s out on the road also plays a role...I see my R1 bros out all the time in ATL. Which one do you like more? Thanks for watching 🤘🏾 #FastLaneGang 🏁

@@FastLaneD they’re cheap and don’t last well. They have wayyyyy too many points of failure for a phone mount. The rubber grips get destroyed. The spring gets destroyed. The RokForm or the quad grip are both infinitely better. Don’t even get me started on the little piece of rubber netting you have to stretch over the phone corners. Who thought of this and what drugs were they on. RokForm and Quadlock a are literally single pieces of metal, nothing can wear out or go wrong there. Far more rigid too
