The R1 is a better bike in every possible way, that being said, only people who go to the track and love racing will appreciate an R1, bimmers r for street riders

Definitely agree the r1m does have a character about it that the m1000rr is simply missing!! But with the flash n tune the M1000rr fans turn on 182 degrees F so it helps maintain that typical high heat kick off that the bmw is known for in traffic I’d say the r1m might run alittle cooler not by much tho
