Love the Video! I have the 1199 but I am 61 and not as flexible as I once was, so sadly it is going up for sale, it is an amazing bike which deserves to be out on the open road not sat in my garage.
The 1199 comes with a 200 rear, more than likely the previous owner switched to a 190 for track use. Also, check your ride control modes….if the bike is wanting to stand up, you have your traction control on to high
I figured out the issue when I got back home my tire pressures were wayyyy off 😅 I also think the previous owner did indeed change tires for track use you were spot on ! I appreciate watching the video brother 🤙
I think the push when on throttle ,is from the weight of the rotating assembly , I tracked a 14'R for a few years...once you learn how to ride it the way it needs....nothing like it. Its a handful but ultra rewarding .
That V2 rear tire has 3k+ miles? Looks brnd new like it never made a turn ....or was it a new tire after OEs were shredded? IDK whats the poing even of a sportbike if not tracked? Or at least regularly in REAL hard core twisty canyons?

I saw the white livery Rossi, as a biased owner, there's not a day I don't get compliments with the white Rossi wherever I go, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder lol

I would have to keep the 1199 because the Tricolore is such a special/rare bike for Ducati and I would still have all the electronics as the V2 I would have better suspension and more power than the V2 as well. In all honesty I could go to any Ducati dealer and get a V2 but I couldn’t do that with this 1199😂😂😂 tough question!!! I love it 👍😂 Thankyou for tuning in

As a v2 and v4s owner, you have to put header wrap around the pipes that cook your nuts; better yet, get those pipes ceramic coated where your nuts sit. Secondly, you can never compare a 11 o 1299 to a v4s in any way period. My v4s will make a 1199 disappear in 6th gear at 140 mph roll race, then the first hard corner isn’t even fair.

The 1099 and 1299 are more in the v2’s class. My triumph 1200RS with full titanium system, k&n air filter, carbon fiber wheels, bren tune and denso plugs will smoke the 1199 but can’t hang with the V4s. Glad you discovered ducatis are awesome but pop a xanie. It’s like the black reporter on family guy “DUCATIS BEATS THE HELL OUT OF HONDA DEVILLE.” Thanks for that Olly or (Captain Obvious).

The rear tyre is supposed to be a 200/55 ZR14 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP on the 1199s tricolore.
I thought it was a 200 also idk why it’s a 190 on this bike

I rode the little 899 and that thing is hotter than the sun. Fun bike though, an experience for sure
if you think the 899 is hot then the 1199 is definitely not for you its basically the same bike with a bigger engine strap to it.

1199 good from the face and the wet clutch, v2 good from the speed, sound and dry clutch

Do you find V2 stock suspension lacks compare with 1199r Ohlins on both track and road?
The 1199 has a way better suspension you can definitely feel the difference between the two. I can feel the bike on the road a lot more on the 1199

Have no idea why anyone would get a v2 over a 1299 considering 1299 has a low power mode equivalent to the HP of the v2.

You’re comparing an m3 with an m5… the v2 is the baby it’s the replacement for the 899 the 1199’s newer replacement is the v4
