    This is absolutely insane. So much detail and complexity.

      Yeah I'm even surprised myself sometimes by how far you can take it with Octane.

    Loved the Velvet Underground pun :) Cheers for all of ur work mate, I've learned more from you than any of the actual teachers I've had. Thanks for everything you do for the 3D community.

      Hah after recording it I felt like it was so stupid so I'm glad someone appreciates it. And man it's my pleasure! All I do is share what I know and I'm happy people share my excitement

    Hey, I was thinking about buying your commercial pack today.. It would seem some of these complex procedural textures take longer to render, no? Granted they look great. I usually make complex scenes full of objects... Also, are these up to date to 'plug and play' with the latest version of Octane 2023 or 2022? Thanks man! Great work.

      They mainly take longer when heavy displacement is used, the displacement is only used for really extreme detail so you don't need it if you're not at a close up
      Generally tho, rendering highly complex procedural textures might take slightly longer than image-based materials, but the difference is not that significant compared to the benefits of procedural

    Hi mate, in your patreon do you also teach how to animate the fabrics?

    • @NewPlastic
      @NewPlastic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really, I haven't thought of showing how to make the fabric dynamics because there are so many tutorials on that but I've been getting asked that more than I thought so I might make a video showing what I do

      @@NewPlastic It would be interesting, surely there are several tutorials out there, but your way of explaining and the final result is quite attractive
