I don't think there is any current version of octane that works with amd gpu's :( The new version of octane that is coming out soon(octane 4) should support amd cards though.
thats not a good tutorial tbh, like tutorial wise its alright but people who want to do an actualy skin shader would never start like this - this is very amature level and doesnt represent realistic skin, technique wise I mean. You should watch some "How to make skin mat's" yourself before you do a tutorial about. No offense tho.

@@IOStudios i can confirm that amd is not supported by octane (yet). That's why i went with 1060 gtx instead of rx460
