Yes dude!! I've been waiting for tutorials from you for like 4 years haha (Looks really good with the facecam and your voice is really clear too)

Thanks man, appreciate the feedback! I feel like I still need to figure some stuff out reagrding the facecam parts (better lighting) and the narration (less cuts and less nervous stutter/filler words - been half annoyed and half nervous in this one due to doing like 10 takes of the entire thing and still getting it wrong hehe )

@@filiphodas1855 I feel you man! But from my view everything looked perfect so don't worry about it too much ;)

Wow you should really, really do more of these! You have a perfect and easy to follow way of explaining why you do things, a good pace and as a bonus a pleasant voice. I haven't seen many substance tutorials that are this easy to understand while maintaining a high information value. Great job filip, I really appreciate your effort!

This is also a very good fur tutorial, it has more control than the fur setup that comes with designer

I LOVED the Designer portion of this video, but sadly do not use Cinema 4d. Any chance you might do a follow up video of how to take this great texture into Substance Painter and use it there?

This! I even have a subscription to Cinema 4D but I don't have octane render, and the demo seems to only work on Mac. I want this material so much. T_T

I'm yet to see a very realistic velvet for 3d.

    • @filiphodas1855

You can do the same thing I did in SP with hair system and have each strand as acutal geometry and I'm sure you could tweak it to closeup realism. But it's not going to be very usable due to how heavy it will be.
