Sarah - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
She actually has the three qualities of a True Spring; lightness in her skin, brightness in her eyes and warmth in her hair
Yes that’s exactly it!
I would have never guessed just looking at her that she needed such high intensity. But yeah those colours are perfect on her.
I know right, the colours always reveal what works best :)
She is similar to me before I went gray, so I knew!
"So this is the green you like?
"Yeah but now I don't"
😂😂😂😂
😊💜
I knew from the start where she would end up. Her skin reacts to those colours exactly the same as mine does. Like me, she is very low-contrast with yellow tones in her hair and very pale skin. And anyone typing by features thought I must be soft or light. But I pull off some bright spring colours better than my bright spring daughter. Because this skin needs colour (and warmth) added to it to look its best.
Nice! Thanks for watching 🌸☺️
Before the draping I was thinking light spring, maybe light summer.
Great guesses!
They final palette looks soooo nice on her! That’s awesome
Thanks for watching ☺️🌸
I loved almost all yellows on her, admittedly 😊
That was an interesting reveal. Expected light summer.
Thanks for watching!
She looks to me as light summer very ethereal
I also liked silver on her
Sarah, I hate navy too! It's from all those years wearing school uniforms, lol.
😅 I hear that all the time about uniforms! It’s amazing that they create such a strong association with colours!
@@sarahryanthestylecoach I am the opposite. If I can replicate my school uniforms with the colours or styles I wear today, I am absolutely delighted. To this day I love burgundy/turquoise (primary school) and buttercup yellow/white/royal blue (high school). I also love the sharp, simple, timeless look of pinafores, blazers, checked skirts, crisp white socks and black babydoll shoes/ brogues. Oh and I also dislike navy, but not as much as I dislike beige and grey!
I LOVED the way you sectioned this video into each category.
At first glance I’d never have said spring but it was beautiful on her. 😊
Thank you so much!😊
I just took one look at her face and I knew instantly that she is a true spring. She is actually very easy to identify for color palette.
Nice 🌸☺️
Agree. Knew just by looking
Linda is stinning in her palette. Such a stark, and obvious, draping session. Sarah looked like she enjoyed doing this.
I really enjoyed this consultation! It was a fun one!
My guess was light spring, I was close. But she looks great in all types of spring.
Very close ☺️💕
She looked so beautiful in her palette. No doubt about that one!
Thanks for watching Anne!
I was wondering between spring and summer but thought she had quite some liveliness to her colouring. I did like the warm spring palette the best, if I had to pick on sub-season. You can see the harmony between her and the finished result! Lovely video.
Thanks so much for watching Cath! 💕
Before I see the video I am guessing Light summer/Light Spring
Great guesses!
Guess before draping: either warm or true spring
Nice guesses!
Looking at the thumbnail I thought to myself that she might be a summer 🤣🤣🤣 but then immediately at the first drape you could just see how much better the warm is, brings colour out from her skin beautifully.
Ah yes! I chose that thumbnail on purpose 😉 thanks for watching! 🌸☺️
I guessed summer but didn't expect to be warm!
Summer shares the Light quality of Spring so there is a little overlap! :)
Me too. The usual guidelines say: "blonde, blue eyes and pale = summer". But again Sarah proved them wrong!
I could tell she was spring from the thumbnail thanks to expert color analysts like yourself who have taught me well!
Nice observation! Thanks for sharing!
My guess before draping was - warm spring, but halfway through I thought probably just a true season.
You've got a good eye!
I really enjoyed watching this one. I don’t think I know many people who are springs of any sort so I’m always a little perplexed when I see someone who is. In most of the temperature testing drapes, all I could see was harsh contrast. I could really only see the temperature reaction in the pinks and whites. I had guessed spring but it was a guess. The color drapes were really obvious to me.
I think she can sacrifice some warmth (not all- there were definitely colors that were too cool) but colors that start to get dark or dull become bad quickly.
I think I occupy a similar spot on the cool side. I need vivid, dark-leaning colors. I do better with cool but I can dip into warmer colors as long as they stay vivid and don’t have any brown to them at all. There is also a functional limit to how light I can go unless I’m using a color strictly as an accent.
I think this spring is like that with gray. As soon as the gray creeps into a color, you lose her. She tolerates some brown influence as long as it isn’t too dark, but the silver-gray, or gray-green, gray-pink, gray-purple, etc were all very draining. And she has a limit to how dark she can go. I honestly don’t think there was much to pick between the dark browns, maroon and dark navy. None of the dark colors do much for her. She has the presence to overcome them but they’re definitely not supporting her.
I’ve learned so much about color analysis from following Sarah and the Melbourne girls. I could tell that she was warm from the first two colors, and the trend kept going. Thanks for training my eye Sarah! I was also surprised that she looked better in the bright instead of muted colors, but she definitely did, which goes to show the drapes tell all. I was finally analyzed here in the USA a couple of weeks ago and mine went EXACTLY the same as this one. Figured out I was a spring, looked great in all of the spring sub seasons, light spring was the least good of the 3, but good enough to cast me as a True Spring. I also originally thought that I would be a summer, like some of these comments are saying, and once we figured out I was a spring thought I’d be a light spring like some of these comments are saying. This analysis was literally like watching a replay of my own from start to finish, and I enjoyed it SO much. Thank you for the content Sarah!
Ah that’s so nice! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching 🌸☺️
True Spring like myself. 😊
Nice! :)
This lady looks lovely in her Spring colours! ❤️🇬🇧
Doesn’t she just! ☺️🌸
I HAAAATE navy!!!
What did navy do to you? 😉☺️💙
Once I saw her warmer reddish hair color, it made sense to go warm. It was helpful to have the cap on initially so we were not swayed by the hair.
Yes, we must always start with the undertone as this does not change while hair colour does :)
Those bright spring colours look gorgeous on her. Hope she starts wearing (she seemed to lean to muted a lot).
Me too! 🤩💙
Thank you! This is the first true spring analysis I've seen. I really connect with this video.ive been told I'm was a warm spring and another time plain spring. This is what I have been wondering that I am. But now I have quite a bit of gray hair and I almost feel soft summer or soft autumn colors is better now. Can this even be possible? I used to have strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes like this woman. So now I have cooler hair and cooler blue gray eyes.
It's unlikely that you would change from a warm to a cool season :)
Sarah, you will never believe the coincidence! Mam is a True/Paintbox Spring and she's called Linda too, I'm amazed! 😊 I also had a feeling you'd be uploading a colour analysis consultation today because I remember your story on Facebook saying that you wanted models for a colour consultation in May. 😊
Oh wow! Your instincts are on point!!
Beautiful aqua nail polish. Nails look nice.😊
Thank you! I am loving this colour for summer!
I would say she is in Spring season, she has some warmth in her appearance! Her natural hair colour and eyebrows are light blonde-red ,she has brightness her eyes colour doesn't blend in her features, Warm Spring or True Spring my guess!
Nice guess ! ☺️🌸
Yes!! Beautiful spring!
Yes indeed! ☺️💕
In 16 color analysis system she would be a True spring which is brighter and lighter then warm spring but not quite saturated and bright as bright spring
True Spring in the 12 sub seasons also ☺️
Enjoyed that.... thank you!
So glad! ☺️
I love these videos...the bit where it clicks, Linda looks incredible, and you have a huge smile on your face! Great job! Doesn't she look perfect in her colours ❤ (though she looks as dreadful as I do, in white, hehe - I'm clear spring)
Yes Linda looks amazing in those colours 🤩
Yay a new color Ana,y sis. These are always so exciting to see people discover their colors 😊
So glad you like these videos :)
I could tell she was a spring. Cool colors make her look ashy while the warm ones make her glow. As a winter, I'm the opposite; warm colors make me look ill, but I glow in blue-based ones.
Me too 💙
Before starting, I think she’s a Spring but I’m not sure which. I love her shifting eye color!
🌸☺️
Great video, love the process and I can see she is a true spring. Thanks Sarah!
You are so welcome!
Thank you
☺️
This was an amazing video, so well done 😊
Thank you so much ☺️
True Spring 😀 Nice to see!
Thanks for watching! 💙
Love this, Sarah! It's so interesting seeing these in-person colour consultations. She has a beautiful palette :)
Thanks Sandy! I had so much fun with Linda in her consultation!
My first guess was light spring but she has all 3 qualities of spring. Lightness in skin and hair, very bright skin and eyes, and strawberry blonde hair if that’s her natural color. She’s gorgeous.
Great guess!
Spring for sure!
💯
I guessed bright spring at first, i think im getting better :D
Nice! 😊
Beautiful! Thank you Linda for bringing us along on your color journey. 🥰🥰🥰 I truly love the range of colors you can pull from. And they brighten you up in such a stunning way. I can't wait for you to rock all your new "neutrals". 🥰🥰🥰
Yes, thank you for recognising Linda! It’s not easy to go on a TH-cam video and she was fantastic ☺️
So gorgeous!!! The final result with the fan of colour under the chin is wowwwwww!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yay! Thanks for watching!
She's wonderful with so many colours!
Very true! 🌸☺️
Before watching the video I thought Spring. I'm a Light Spring myself and I can see a lot of similarity.
Nice! Good observation! 🌸☺️
Bright, Light, and warm!
Nice 🌸☺️
Please make more of these videos❤
Happy to! It's getting willing participants that can be a struggle! Not too many people want to be on TH-cam with no make up on :)
Fascinating! A true season. They seem to be quite rare. I did think she was a spring from the get go but figured she’d be either warm or bright spring.
Great observation :)
Another great video with a really interesting result 🙂 I’m also not a fan of true navy for various reasons, but I do like softer navy which suits me much better.
Ah you must be a softer season? Summer or Autumn?
@@sarahryanthestylecoachyes, Summer. Technically I was analysed as Cool and Soft.
I am just finishing my color analyst training in-person this weekend, but I cannot tell you my relief when you came to the true spring determination! I have seen true springs being misanyalzed as soft autumns bc the intensity test being wrong and the autumn testers being lighter. Then they need to go lighter in the autumn palette and land in Soft Autumn accidentally bc they lack the depth.
Warm spring is a touch too heavy for her with some of the softness entering in some of the drapes. Warm autumn brings out so much shadowing. She is warm, light and bright. Good job!! I love your channel.
That was me!! I the as so frustrated I paid for the service and felt so blah in the soft autumn colors. I have golden hair, dark blue eyes, and fair skin and since then I’ve found spring colors so much more flattering! Congrats on your training🌈
Thank you! Best of luck on your journey!
Well done Sarah! That seemed to be a challenging one but the results were beautiful!
Thanks so much! 😊
That's the truth; I guess because not as many people are "true" seasons.
I gunessed some sort of Spring from the start, as she appeared to have warmth and is fairly light; but of course she may not have draped that way, you cannot tell just by looking. Although in this case, she did turn out to be a Spring.
Great observation!
My first guess was light or true spring. Amazing analysis, like always. 😊
Yay, thank you!
Wow she looks great, I hope she starts experimenting with her new palette!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Linda for agreeing to be recorded!
I love these videos and I'm even starting to see the differences
Yes let’s appreciate Linda! 🤗 she was wonderful! ☺️
I thought light spring! But yes, all the spring colours look great.
So good! 🌸☺️
I went in guessing a type of spring
Good guess! 🌸☺️
Wow; this shows how just seeing someone's skin on the surface can be deceiving. Looking at the 2 of you, her skin LOOKS like it would be much more cool toned than yours (knowing you're a winter), but the drapes prove otherwise.
Yes people often confuse light skin for being cool and darker skin to be warm. But this is simply the skin tone.
I knew immediately she was a Spring, but I’m cheating because I am also a Spring and know what to look for :-). I actually really hate my colours because they are difficult to find in the shops and I also don’t know how to put them together for a work environment. These colours can look informal and it’s hard to put an outfit together that looks serious for business. If you suit white, beige and black it seems much easier to dress classically, for instance.
May I ask where you bought these scopes and the frame for the analysis?
How often do you analyse a true season Sarah?
Not too often I have to say!
I can see how much she hates this right now but those warm, vivid colors are a BEAUTIFUL fit for her!
They really are 🌸☺️
By the thumbnail, 3 secs into the video: she’s spring.
Nice! 🌸☺️
Is her skin warm though, to make her a Spring? I thought it was cool.
Her undertone is warm ☺️
Okay, thanks. I just wish i could see what you see. @@sarahryanthestylecoach
I think her season will be spring.
Nice 🌸☺️
I take that it's rare for someone to be a True season, especially Spring?
I haven't seen too many :)
I think the color analysis seasons are actually reversed. I was typed cool winter but wearing colors with a lot of yellow brings out the yellow in my golden skin. I look at this video and your skin, Sarah, looks very golden and yellow, just like mine (you’re even darker than I am!) The lovely woman in the video looks very pale, white, and cool - but the warm tones make her look better, just like the cool tones look better on you. I don’t disagree with the palettes that suit us, I just think that the analysis has it wrong in what colors we actually have in our skin. Does that make sense to you?
The skin tone and undertone are very different. The yellow you see in me is my tone. Warm colours highlight this....I do not want to look yellow! ;)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach I'm so confused by this. I also was told that I have a cool undertone and warm overtone. I am continually confused by the people on youtube who tell me a variety of things about undertone.
It seems absurd to express one's own opinion rather than listen to the color expert's. What is the reason for having a color consultation if one is just going to choose what one thinks best.
A person’s opinion is incredibly important. The best result is finding colours that work in theory AND that the client loves. I enjoy listening to my clients and hearing their thoughts. Thanks for watching.
Muted colors, _ not bright!
Thanks for watching!
what's confusing to me is that im a cool winter but im 99% sure that periwinkle, despite being in warm spring, would work on me. same with royal blue. i found out that every color that matches with glacier scenery pictures (those pictures that have intense color quality) would match me too. and these two would definitely match the scenery.
Take a look at my video on How to wear blue. I think this will clear things up for you :)
