I am a summer and it's crazy how colors can make us feel!! I have worn quite a lot from the spring palette before I knew and I didn't feel comfortable in that palette. I looked good, of course, but I instantly got a glow up by wearing sage green rather than lime green!!
Im so thrilled to find this! Thank you for your videos. I honestly feel being Irish fair is very different to a lot of other fair skins ive found, we have a lot more red /pink undertones , so Its great to see another Irish woman with my colouring being analysed. I too have been told im a Cool summer with winter intensity from my contrasting very darkly framed icey blue eyes. My natural hair is mousey brown /dark blonde very ashy toned, & the issue I have arising recently is due to needing to cover up greys, now that im 56 and have more than a sprinkling coming through. The best way to cover greys is to use equal parts neutral with warm tones & of course a professional wants to do a good job, so they often err on the sode of caution & go warmer. Every occasion I have paid to have my roots done for the past 4yrs I have been left with confusing colour contradictions going on around my face & as such live with my hair tied back. Im taking the time to explain. this because im sure there must be other people like myself, who may not realise why they feel unable to pull themselves together lately , who feel that their clothes just dont look right on them suddenly and just not even think it might be because of their hair tone! If you are covering grey hair, & not doing it yourself , you may be left just that bit too warm so that you shrug it off & dont even mind when its done & looks fresh & good..however it could still be whats playing havoc with your attempts at looking good. I took the time to look into hair products again having not done hair for some years now, & im about to do my own today! 😊
I'm actually really surprised, I also expected Light Summer. The light, slightly warm blonde hair threw me off, I'm curious if it's natural. She looks great in True Summer colors, there's no doubt it's her season.
That was really interesting. I saw the same changes to her skin that I see in my own with warmer colours. In myself the redness combined with the skin colour makes me look kind of peach, and this is how it looks to me in this video. The peachiness looking not flattering with warmer tones reflecting more warmth up.
Have you ever had someone whose most flagrant/important characteristics were either dark, soft, or light, to the point where their temperature didn't matter and it was near impossible to tell? If yes, where did you put them? If not, how would you hypothetically deal with it?
I had my colors professionally done as well, and I'm a cool winter. It's so true about the instant "no" to any warm shade when you are 100% cool. I love her season too and borrow from it often on hot days in Florida. Great analysis!
I have been vacillating about my palette for ages. With this system, now I know why. You have to go farther into it, not just warm vs cool, but also three more categories.
I like all your clolour analysis videos so much. You are so respectfully teaching your clients, taking them on a journey to explore their best colours. And it is always so beautiful to see the end results.
Only a couple of minutes in, but before I forget...that very first bright pink looks like a warm bright pink to me, as opposed to a fuscia, for instance, which would be cooler. It frazzles my brain! Later: Ahhh...she looks so pretty in those cooler colours, especially the blues!
I think that's an issue w/ looking at it through the camera, on a screen. I notice sometimes, depending on the brightness of the color, that the camera tries to adjust and everything suddenly looks brighter or darker.
Wow the coolness was immediately obvious from the first drape! I guessed almost immediately cool summer because that coolness was so apparent. The dusty rose pink in the summer vs winter round was still too dusty and warm. Muddy on her!
I think in the cool summer colours she looks like she means business and more confident, even with a neutral expression, the other ones she tends to look a bit more “pained” or suffering. Amazing what the right colours can do !
Great video. Thanks for demonstrating sister seasons and for mentioning them in the comments last week. It’s not always possible to find basics which are precisely in a palette, so it’s good to know how to compromise and how not to.
When you do two seasons, fold them into each other, like when mixing a deck of cards, and you can show them off paired, without having to remove half the set all the time. Cheers
I didn’t even have to see any color drapes on her to know what season. This one was so obvious to me. I would love to do this for a living! ❤❤ Another great video!!! She is beautiful in her colors!!! The purple and teal green were 👌🏼👌🏼
Loved the video. What colour analysis brand did you train with please? Many years ago I was coded by Colour Me Beautiful and came out Light Spring. I just paid for my daughter to have her's done but they have changed their system and said she was light, warm, soft. I was quite disappointed and I think the system you show is much better.
4:48 wouah both of your faces lightened when putting back the silver colored one. 😂😂 as the room and everything around is white, we are able to see properly how colors reflects the skin of thé client … and … Sarah of course 😂😂😂
She is bright, cool and light. The first white drapes are really not that appealing for her because it blends too much with her skin. She needs light contrast.
Oh this was great thanks. I have VERY similar colouring to the lovely model (fellow Celt) and was sure I was Summer but not 100% on the sub-season. I suit exactly the same colours and realise my darker winter clothes tend to the cool Winter shades too. Like the model I look washed out in the lighter colours but the mid-depth cool colours work best. So fellow true/cool Summer!
This was the most obvious non warm color person Ive seen so far online. It’s fun when it’s so obvious. I haven’t finished the video, Im just at the beginning but I have a feeling where she will be. Im guessing light summer so far.
All this color business, especially when you have to figure out what type of summer she is? Totally not kidding when I say this was whole video was harder for me to understand than my state boards for chemistry. And I’m still lost.😢

Beautiful!! I'm a warm autumn, and all I could think about in the end was how horrific it would be if she and I were to change wardrobes
Yes the only commonality would be the softness of the two seasons!
The natural blonde threw me off. I was sure that she was a light summer. This shows the importance of draping!
Yes so true!
There are tons of cool natural blondes! Soooo many summers are blonde.
She looked great in so many colours...the whole summer palette basically, and even those cool winter colours.
Right?! They looked great! Thanks for watching!
This is the best colour analysis video I have seen and trust me I have seen loads!!
That mauve at 22:35 is FANTASTIC on her!
So good!
she is so beautiful and so adorable!!! i love her smile and her little nose twitches!!! love the true summer colors on her!

She said it’s natural
I initially thought that too!

She did one like that with a gentlemen named Raj. It was a really interesting watch

Thank you Cool Winter! :)
I have been vacillating about my palette for ages. With this system, now I know why. You have to go farther into it, not just warm vs cool, but also three more categories.
Yes exactly, it's quite a complex process :)
Such a perfect Sunday watch. Settling in with a cuppa
Aw hope you enjoyed the video and the cuppa!
I cannot get enough of these videos! This was excellent.
Thank you so much!

Beautiful in her cool summer shades

Yep it might translate slightly differently depending on screens and settings :)
Wow the coolness was immediately obvious from the first drape! I guessed almost immediately cool summer because that coolness was so apparent. The dusty rose pink in the summer vs winter round was still too dusty and warm. Muddy on her!
Yes it was clear from the start! Thanks for watching!
The difference between silver and gold was staggering.
So true!
I think in the cool summer colours she looks like she means business and more confident, even with a neutral expression, the other ones she tends to look a bit more “pained” or suffering.
Amazing what the right colours can do !
She looks so good in so many colours.
It's true! Lucky lady!
I'm summer. Cool skin undertone but becouse i have gould in my hair everybady alweys ofers me autume colors.
Thanks for sharing!!
Same here, summer cool, leaning to coo winter, but stark white
The difference is incredible..
Great that you can see it! Thanks for watching!

You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
These videos are always interesting & fun to watch.
Glad you like them! :)
Aww, she was delightful! It was so nice watching her get her beautiful colors. Thanks for another great video.
So excited for this!! And also for you to hit 10k- you're so close!
AHHH YOU DID IT!! Happy 10k!!
Sarah has reached 10K!
Yayyyy!!!! Thank you!
Looks like fun!
So much fun! 🤩
You're very competent & likeable! Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your work.
Another portion of positive vibes, thank you, ladies. Sarah, i love the way you do your work. Fantastic. Magic!❤
Thank you so much!
Can you do videos with people who dye their hair? Is it possible to be a winter with blonde hair?
When you do two seasons, fold them into each other, like when mixing a deck of cards, and you can show them off paired, without having to remove half the set all the time. Cheers
She has beautiful colouring, if that's a natural light blonde, what a lovely Nordic blonde
So beautiful! 💕
Great video 😍 I am a cool winter too, may I ask you what beautiful lipstick you are wearing?
Thank you! I usually wear a combo of cherry lipliner by Mac all over my lip then I put Candy Yum Yum on top!
Hello Sarah! Thank you for another fabulous video!
🇮🇪🥰🇺🇸 Love from California
You are so welcome! Thanks for being here!
I see that some definitely look better but she is beautiful in them all
💕☺️
Amazing decided I'm cool changing my wardrobe!!
So enjoy your advice
Yay! Thank you!
I was certain she was going to be LS or some spring! So important to do the draping!
I was her when I was younger. Thing is I hate summer colors. My fav colors are soft Autumn.
There’s always an overlap so I am sure some Autumns will suit you too ☺️
Fantastic xx
Thank you!
Cool summer she is a beautiful woman
She really is!
To be honest: When you need to "think" if that matches instead of seeing it blending right away, its no match
So pretty!❤
💕
First draping I disagree. I think she suits the warm.
Later...seeing a bit more I go 2ith the cool colours.
Thanks for sharing!

❤❤ Another great video!!! She is beautiful in her colors!!! The purple and teal green were 👌🏼👌🏼
So glad you enjoyed the video! Well done for spotting Summer early on!
I'm cool summer 🩵
Nice!
Thank you for this wonderful informative video 🙏🏽 I learn so much from your videos Sarah.
Looked at the title, looked at the client, thought for sure a light summer. But nope! WELL PLAYED, SARAH! 😂
I thought she was also going to be light! ☺️
In your system is cool summer the same as true summer? If not, how can you be sure she is not a true summer? (Versus cool summer)
Great video ❤
I feel like she could be a cool or dark winter too
I think she has a medium level of intensity and can go brighter if wearing makeup and softer without.
Oh yes, make up changes everything but not everyone wants to wear it ☺️💋
Man, I just don't see any difference in any of the colors? What am I missing?
That’s ok! That’s what the pros are here for ☺️
Is it easier to tell if a person is cooler or warmer?? I literally can barely tell on anyone 😂
4:48 wouah both of your faces lightened when putting back the silver colored one. 😂😂 as the room and everything around is white, we are able to see properly how colors reflects the skin of thé client … and … Sarah of course 😂😂😂
It's great to see the reactions :)

💕
Was the first summer sub season palette at 13:35 Soft Summer & the last one at 15:57 Light Summer?
Gosh is everyone from Ireland so lovely ?
Aww I like to think so! :)
Oh this was great thanks. I have VERY similar colouring to the lovely model (fellow Celt) and was sure I was Summer but not 100% on the sub-season. Off the batt I thought cool summer. If it wasn’t for the title of the video I was thinking cool winter or cool summer.
Nicely spotted!
If that's her natural hair color, her primary characteristics is light. She is light and cool in my opinion.
All this color business, especially when you have to figure out what type of summer she is? Totally not kidding when I say this was whole video was harder for me to understand than my state boards for chemistry. And I’m still lost.😢
um... This was a hard one.
💯☺️💕
Cool was better
💯
Really interesting my soul sister in colouring. That little bit of a pop!☺️🩵
So cool! ☺️💕
