I had both the color analysis and the style analysis. I was very impressed with my color analysis and my style analysis was an eye opener. I was plagued with buying expensive clothing items that looked amazing on the model and just looked meh or off on me. I am naturally drawn toward edgy looks and big pieces but I never feel my best when wearing them. I was 50/50 Y/Y and I am Ingenue/romantic. I am also a winter ( jewel/ burnished). I took everything I learned from my sessions and got to work. Brands that I can easily shop style-wise include loveshackfancy , anthropology, reformation. I now wear dainty, low profile jewelry. I became a fashion icon at work overnight!!! Really do feel my best every day. Unlike you I was clueless about the best style for my body, so for someone like me, I would recommend the style analysis. I am in the US and the sessions are 325 and 375 US dollars
You’re quite lovely! Your coloring is largely ignored when doing physical analysis. I love how you’re both strong and feminine. A beautiful Amazon! You might be a Soft Natural in Kibbe? Some celebrity Soft Naturals - Scarlett Johansson, Helen Mirren, Renee Zellweger, Kim Basigner.
Your self description sounds exactly like a Kibbe Flamboyant Natural. Have you seen Style Thoughts by Rita channel? She has a 4 quadrant Essence system where you put your own desired style on top of other systems like Kibbe. I'm wondering what "Archetype" of her 20 characters you might be lol? I'm guessing something slightly up from centre slightly left? Those "right up" essence blazers weren't thrilling you. Perhaps a need for excitement + personal comfort or self expression could be part of unlocking your personal "style key", as Rita says. Most style systems like the consult you had tend to focus on more "Right Up" dressing, which look cute on others but on me feels like a boring granny school uniform.
For people commenting on how the body typing in this video fits (or doesn't) with Kibbe's system: House of Colour seems to be using an older system by Harriet McJimsey. I highly recommend learning more about her original system; the definitions can give good context for your own understanding.
I think the word “classic” gets a bad wrap. Pulled together, timeless, and sophisticated all describe a classic style. Maybe it’s time to change the word along with the photos in the book. 😉.
Having done a style session at House of Colour myself (I'm a natural gamine), it was really interesting to watch how it went for you! For me it was a very worthwhile experience, but I can imagine it not being so much for you, since you already knew a lot of these things about yourself. For all the people commenting on her Kibbe body type, keep in mind this is a VERY different system compared to Kibbe (and there are more/older systems that use the same names for the types McJimsey, Kitchener etc). This system has a different understanding of the types and different parameters of when you fit into a certain type, for example, as you can see here, personality and how you want to be perceived play a BIG role. I personally really like the House of Colour system because of this, but I think every person must decide for themselves which system suits their needs best.
Re Yang, height is a yang quality, you look tall, therefore you can fit kibbe dramatic. However, you have soft flesh on a dominant frame, so you should probably look at Kibbe Soft Dramatic.
Thank you for your honesty! Ive been tempted to get a style consultation just because ive watched so many Kibbe videos and done loads of quizzes 😊 i feel the same as you as I think I'm somewhere in the gaps between all thise softs, classics, naturals etc. I got my colours done online and it was really surprising (im a Bright Spring) and ive veen really pushing myself out of my old comfort zone and into much more vibrant colours and it's great!
I am deep winter and a kibbe romantic. My best colours (dark, intense and with high contrast) are poorly compatible with the romantic style. I wear dresses and skirts only on a hot summer, so again, romantic style might be great in principle, but practically it is not suitable. And that leaves a blank space in finding a style that works and that it is still me.
try witchy, gothic, like Helena Bonham Carter; Christina Ricci; also if you prefer lighter colors try Emilia Clarke's lighter colors on game of thrones - they are all romantic.
I think the photos in your book, look 2000's . The one of the senior woman, you found timeless, has a very linear jacket like some I specifically remember my mom and grandmother buying around 2005 (maybe later,2007,but somewhere, there). Though some of things many people wear now ,have really stuck ,dated appearances - like the sweetheart neckline/chest line.

@lisagnant4161
Do you think this would work virtually or should I find someone local to do it, if I do it?

I agree, she reminds me of a Flamboyant Natural.
Any one with natural in the mix, does not have much in the way of curves, according to Kibbes
Kibbe soft dramatic is primarily dramatic with romantic undercurrent
Yes, i.e. primarily quite tall, with some romantic softness
I think her height is the only thing possibly dramatic. Everything else is on the yin

Your body shape looks very soft dramatic
Hourglass
Look at the kibbe SD type
Dramatic + Romantic

You look very tall and curvy, i would say you are a soft dramatic
From what I can see she looks more like a theatrical romantic.
@@venceslavgeorgiev2295 she is too tall to be a romantic, romantic has a little frame and very delicate bones
Re Yang, height is a yang quality, you look tall, therefore you can fit kibbe dramatic. However, you have soft flesh on a dominant frame, so you should probably look at Kibbe Soft Dramatic.
Anything with dramatic in the mix, i.e. soft dramatic, usually means over 5ft 5in in Kibbes, more like 5ft 7in to 6ft.
Flamboyant naturals are also tall
romantic for sure
I think your face shape may be diamond. That is mine, and it took years to discover that.

are you sure you arent a flamboyant natural or soft dramatic?

Honestly, I never even considered the two not working together but makes total sense and is quite tricky

@@ReneeDeane Good idea! I will try and look at different way to pull a romantic look checking these celebrities :)
in the kibbe - you don’t get to pick your words- it’s about the balance in your body shape width and height, angles and curves. Not what you like
You are beautiful!

Looking soo beautiful.
Fiona is so cute. This was great!!
Glad you enjoyed it x
