    Bar of soap on the drive belt worked perfect. Thank you!

    I have inherited a Precor 931 treadmill . It was partially under water due to a flood . Now works fine but has an unbearable rumple noise seeming from front and back . maybe the roller ( belt rollers ) bearings have been rust-pitted . Please try to offer some advice . I appreciate all your helpful videos . Johnnie C . Nova Scotia

    My brand new 445 has a rattling sound in the rear roller when going less than 2mph. It sounds like a loose piece of metal that rolls when the roller rotates. I can hear it if I manually turn the belt very slowly with the machine off too.

    I have a very strange noise coming from my treadmill. It’s a deep drum base sound that repeats twice per 1 belt cycle. It seems to be coming from the rear roller region. It gets louder and with a higher pitch the faster the belt moves.
    Any suggestions on what it might be and how to fix it?

      That is the overlapping fold where the belt is seamed together and is thicker at that point... so every time it rolls over the roller it makes that thud and once at the front and once at the back... Thud... Thud... Thud.. Thud..

    Mine is clicking :( A ball got stuck under it and it stopped while it was still on. Any advice on how I can fix it? Belt is moving fine and the lights on then screen are all on and normal, just terrible clicking sound. Thanks!! :D

    Hi, I'm having the crackling sound. Where can I buy the treadmill lubricant? Also if I am hearing the crackling sound is that dangerous? Or is it still OK to walk on?

    • @coloradocardio

      You can get treadmill silicone on Amazon. It is still ok to walk on just get the silicon sooner than later.

    Hello, my treadmill is making this constant deep sound that gets louder the faster my treadmill gets, as if the running deck is grinding against the surface. Is there a way to stop the noise?

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can put liquid silicone underneath the belt to reduce friction

    • @scottsnyder2229
      @scottsnyder2229 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you put the lube right on the belt, I think you say that in the vid. OR btwn the underside of the belt and deck?

      @@scottsnyder2229that's what I'm wondering . He wasn't very descriptive on where to apply stuff . I'm guessing you lift the belt and just spray a little underneath though

    Most (or all) or Precor decks are lubricated for life. The Precor decks are double sided and can be flipped. Other brands handle lubricant well.

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ture, however after they have been replaced with aftermarket parts (Belts and Deck) these will need to be siliconed or lubricated.

    What's wrong if my c956i Precor makes a vibrating grinding sound at first run up, but after cycling the power switch, acts as normal?

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You running belt might be dry and will need treadmill silicon applied to the under side of the belt/deck so it runs smoothly.

      @@coloradocardio Thanks so much for your reply. With a new deck/belt/ and replaced front roller, it seems much better BUT......it grumbles/vibrates at startup speeds of 1-3, but goes away "magically" at speeds 4+. Belt and rollers are aligned. Thoughts? I noticed I can twist the DRIVE belt 90 Degrees from the center point between pullies. Perhaps that's an issue? Not sure if moving the front roller back toward rear of treadmill will help tighten the motor belt or not.

    I'm having the exact issue as the first part in the video where there's a clicking sound when it's running between 1-2mph. I put a dry rag under there and ran it a little bit. The rag had some dirt on it but still have the same clicking sound. Precor 9.27

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to tell what sound you are getting and where it is coming from, it could be coming from your rollers or there is just more dirt underneath the belt. But without seeing/hearing your treadmill run I'd just be guessing.

      I’m the same person, couldn’t log in from my phone to that account.
      The treadmill is obviously fully turned off in the video but does the same when it’s on so I’m guessing it can’t be the motor?

      Roller bearings make a crackling sound at low speed also.

      Check your drive belt that is connected to the motor, put a little soap on it and see if that makes the noise go away. If not let me know

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your running deck might have come loose and needs reattached. Or the front roller has come out of it slot and not sitting right. Take off the front cover and run without it on see if you can see where the noise is coming from.
