    I just replaced brushes on a norditrac treadmill. Cleaned up carbon dust and light scotch brite on part of commutator. New set up makes a clicking noise. I'm guessing there is a seating period. Bearings were fine before and win spinning in brush free state. So by deduction it either a brush seating issue or commutator. Commutator loooks ok.. It's not a roller or belt. Any ideas?

    • @jorgegrau8323
      @jorgegrau8323 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Update: rough uneven spot on commutator seems to be the issue. I can try to even it up or replace entire motor

    Hi, great tip! Do you have any suggestion on what to do if the belt (drive belt I think it's called) keeps slipping to one side? I don't think the belt is damaged, but the plastic part of the cylinder it's on moves to the side when the treadmill is on 😅

    • @coloradocardio
      @coloradocardio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Need to center the belt, there really is no trick.

    • @CruelEvisceration
      @CruelEvisceration ปีที่แล้ว

      That's the problem I think I'm having.
      My plastic wheel looks to have moved in a few mm so the belt no longer lines up, I've tapped it a bit and it moved back to where it needs to be now I'm trying to figure out how to get it square and fix it in place

    • @monicamincic1245
      @monicamincic1245 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the same problem. But, when I tap it back to the right position, as soon as I start walking, it moves again! And centering the belt didn't help at all! I saw some videos where they use the superglue to keep it in place, and one guy even screwed the drive belt into the cylinder, which seems a bit extreme to me. Please update me if you find a more permanent solution, and I will do the same. :) I haven't been using the treadmill for months now :/ @@CruelEvisceration

    I have a 2013 Horizon Treadmill CT 9.3 purchased in 2016. It has been used only for walking and that too very rarely. However, I have been servicing it regularly. Since a week it has started giving problem for the first time. While in use for walking, it suddenly stops and a clicking sound starts coming from the control board. After a few minutes it resets itself automatically and starts working normally but after a few minutes it again stops suddenly and the same clicking sound starts coming from the control board.
    I am in Canada and Horizon fitness has almost no efficient and caring after sale service here. I don't know what to do to overcome this problem.
    Can you please advise as how to master reset the machine to get rid of this trouble?
    Thanks.

The control panel flickers and there's a clicking noise coming from one or both of the lift motor relay. Nothing is unplugged so I don't know what's wrong... my electrical outlet is wired correctly btw
