I'm enjoying catching your videos between jobs around the house and garden. Watching this with a cup of my special tea. Only yesterday I ordered a pack of daubers (stamps) from Amazon how crazy is that because now I'm learning how to use them....beautiful. Thank u so much 🥰

Lovely painting and I like the effect you were able to achieve! How did you get your painting to dry flat? I noticed you didn’t tape it down. How do you deal with that kind of warp using so much water?

Thank you Amanda for your comments. When the paper dries after my first layer I actually iron it flat to prep it for a second layer: th-cam.com/video/4wZubeVmghg/w-d-xo.html

@@CreativeLass that’s such a GREAT idea! I’ve ironed it after finishing before, but never between layers. *Adds to creative toolbox* Does this cause any issues with your clear sticker? When I heat, my tape/masking usually acts up.

@@amandaclarke-peterson7116 Not so far, I give a few blasts of steam when I iron and lay heavy object on paper for 30 min.

I was looking for some tricks .. hope u can present in ur future videos.. I am trying to practice Bokeh art... But not getting perfect outcome... Just getting as u did.. iam expecting more realistic..may be that requires more practice

Hello Naresh There are many ways to get the Bokeh effect as you can see from using stencils or stamps, lifting paint, using opaque white and paint in circles etc. For more realistic approach and to add more blurriness you can rewet the background with just plain water and the previous strokes would soften and appear more out of focus. Happy Painting!
