@@BenaBadBeatPokerI haven't played since I had my daughter, I just live vicariously through watching yours and Eastyyy's channels. When I was playing I played a 10/20c home game once a week.
3:55 It's so refreshing to see, especially In the high stakes community, from a very all around respected player like yourself ben to say that your opponent is going to have "some kind of decent edge on me" , not even a slight edge, or maybe has an edge. Fair play Ben you just went even further up in my estimation, for what little thats worth!
You can just use your chips to randomize live. Pick a chip stack in your peripheral vision. Use The logo on the top chip of the stack and treat it like a clock face. Readjust the stacks occasionally between hands. Or you can just use the ones you're shuffling in your hands
How tough would you say are the 5/10, 10/25 games you played live? What hourly would you except there? Do you think live overall might have more value in it than online (apart from prefere of playing live or online) There is so little public 10/20+ action world wide, tough to get any games
the times i have played there has always been a rec or two. and then usually a good couple of weaker regs. i have no idea on hourly in these 10/25 games - maybe like 80-120£ an hour? compare that to my online wr, then online is a way better option for me! as you say tho, lifestyle wise, i would never choose live even if i was making a higher hourly. i think you'll find plenty of 10/20+ in the US, but yeah, in europe games are pretty scarce.
Your analysis is so nice. One of the best channels I have subscribed to. Maybe one day you will release a course. Surely a buyer... I only play live (2/5 5/10 at my local casinò). It's nice to see some live hands. Just curious about 5/10 10/20 tables in London. Are they taught? Thinking about coming there for some time, but it would be nice to know something more about the games that are running. Thanks.
appreciate that mate. no plans to release a course just yet but you never know what the future holds! as for the live games, you can get very regular 1/3-5/10 in the Victoria casino. games are generally fine from what I can tell! the hippo runs mostly 1/2 with some slightly bigger games on occasion too
Think the 5 blocker with A5o might be quite bad OTR due to blocking all the pair+gs hands that BU will have floated OTT: J5, 75, 65 even 53s. Should have plenty of 4x to jam instead which don't have the same issue
Once he starts tanking river it looks like 66, some players will think about semi bluffing hands like ATh In these live setting as you know, but obviously once he tanks river you know he doesn't have this, thing is 66 has to call quicker as they beat a few value min block bets too, like 86 AND 87 That may add these into 10%. Would appreciate your thoughts on that ben, although I know it's a much more open spot for debate than it would be online. Specifically in a shallower 2k NL online pool where everyone is so much closer to theory than the randoms you have live
depends if we wanna bucket our other hands like 43 into pure raise or not! as for their call being theory, PIO suggested pure fold but I have no doubt a different solver could say call. fundamentally I think it should prob just fold vs pop tho
@@BenaBadBeatPoker I think if the river didn't complete the flush, A6s was a very good combo of bluff catcher. But with the flush completed, I agree with you that A6s should be folding unless you are sick enough to go very thin value betting. Probably A6o with flush blockers is a call though.
quality on this episode is pretty damn whack on most fronts I’m afraid! we’ll work on it for next episode. hope you enjoy!
Didn't know you were living in Australia? May I ask what state?
@@Adam_Tilbrook i do! victoria mate

If you wanted to add another segment to the show it might be cool to know what you studied during the week as well.

can definitely get behind this. you can make similar arguments that there may be more 5x+ pair that folds though haha
Finally a new video
sorry to keep ya waiting!
How is the A6s a pure fold in theory. Literally one of the better combos to call with. You have straight and flushes as jams.
i think it's cus theory expects bluffs to come from 6x. weird output for sure and i generally agree with you!
13:55 LOL
*facepalm*
Eastyyy is trying to finish the 10NL challenge at 4pm today. You should go bumhunt him Bena!
hahaha i will be firmly on the rail :D
First hand solver seems to want to front load the aggression more..makes sense..then smaller spr river and you can just rip
their call is gto approved af, dno if many would have had the cahones def a strong villain
haha yeah super sick call for sure. totally owned
Big up the home game!
the greatest game to ever run in the UK

yeah I think given we pin their value range as overpairs mostly I’d certainly be going for the small bet at least some of the time on the river
luv from Taiwan, keep the great work!
thank you mate! would love to visit Taiwan ❤️❤️
Love your videos Ben!
appreciate that mate! ❤️
Fairly certain that A6 is a theory call, not a theory fold.
also idt that 42dd is an overbluff? seems like the whole hand was perfectly within theory
depends if we wanna bucket our other hands like 43 into pure raise or not! as for their call being theory, PIO suggested pure fold but I have no doubt a different solver could say call. fundamentally I think it should prob just fold vs pop tho
