WV went 8-4 in the regular season and played a much easier schedule than this last year 6.5 is fair
Arizona would be a conference game now
If you are referring to the Kansas State and Arizona game, then it’s a non-conference game.
Cincinnati is little too high in my opinion at 5.5 wins. Same goes for Colorado, TCU, Houston, and Texas tech. I also think oklahoma state may be a little too low because I think it should be 8.5 wins not 7.5 wins, but Oklahoma state had 5 1-possession wins last year which close wins are hard to repeat year after year. WVU is slightly too low in my opinion.
This guy lives in past. He still thinks Troy Aikman and Reggie Bush are still playing. Welcome to 2024 men!!! WVU will finish with one of these records. 8-4 , 9-3, 10-2. I also believe they could be playing in the Big 12 Championship.
I have BYU going 8-4 this season. They lose to Kansas State, @ Baylor, Arizona, and Kansas.
Would be a heck of a turnaround! Offense has to figure things out this season for that to happen, but they’re definitely in a better spot there than they were last year. Main goal just needs to be reaching a bowl game!

My prediction for the record of each team in the Big12 and this year Big12 only gets one team in 12-team playoff:

@@KipBennett-qf8yoNo. I am usually more correct than incorrect on these things. For Dave Aranda and Kilani Sitake to keep their jobs they need to go bowling and probably win 7-8 games. But I don’t see that happening for both. Maybe one of them but not both. Also the Big12 will probably have just one or maybe three schools at the most with 10 wins but that is including bowl games; which I am not. I think it will be Utah and WVU or UCF for the conference championship game. Last season in 2023 with OU and Texas in the conference, only OU and Texas had 10 wins or more going in to bowls. Oklahoma State had to steal a bowl game victory to get to 10 wins. Everyone else was below 9 wins going into bowl games and Memphis beat the dog crap out of quality Iowa State.
During the regular season last season you had multiple Big12 schools not named Texas and Oklahoma followed by the four PAC12 schools coming over this summer that had some catastrophic losses and extremely bad embarrassing losses in non conference games. You had some upset wins but by and large many were losses and bad losses that no conference can sustain let alone an Autonomy Conference with playoff implications and hoping for multiple bids but realistic only one.
Also if WVU wins 9 games or more again, no way does Neal Brown not get a hard earned contract extension; which I told Mountaineer Nation to be patient with him. If both Baylor and BYU have losing seasons, both head coaches are gone most likely and definitely at Baylor.
There is a good chance that my generosity of records could be worse than this and actually have 6 or more schools with losing records. If Brent was taking over at Arizona with them still in the PAC and playing PAC schools and then move to a new conference, I might give them a 9 or 10 win season if had the players they have plus what he brought in with one year experience. But considering it is all new, no way they finish regular season better than 8-4.
In 2025 the Big12 should and better have at least 2 schools headed to the playoffs but not this season. The Big12 can’t call out other conferences and colleges about non conference games when their schedule is equally egregious and embarrassing. They got no room to bitch. None!!!! Cincinnati could finish last instead of Arizona State.

Secondly, you base things on feelings rather than facts, because you don't look at schedules or follow recruiting and the portal. Or just fail to give any reason why any specific team should rise or fall (because a gut feeling).
You're also the only weirdo that uses season win statistics only rather than also including the post-season. Did Michigan only get 12 wins last year? Because it says 15-0 when you look it up. You can't make claims about how many teams will make the playoff without also predicting every other conference. There's 12 teams and zero precedent for how they will handle this. You're just making vague claims without any actual data. Saying a few teams had bad losses is extremely vague, and ignores the rest of the season. West Virginia didn't win a single game against a ranked opponent and UCF was trash, but you have them 2 and 3 without any explanation while KSU and OSU are behind even though they had better seasons?
You really should get your head out of stat sheets and look at film. But I guess there are people that talk ball, but don't know ball. Look at some film. Stats are a retrospective look, I thought predictions were supposed a prospective look. But we will see how your Stats based predictions work by the end of the year.

Utah historically has not beaten Arizona when Arizona has had a good coach at the realm
And moving forward
K State has to replace three offensive linemen
Arizona has a better secondary and a better offensive line than the Utes and K State and Arizona has a better wide receiver
And a better defensive coordinator than both teams
So why would I listen to a person that never played high school football at a high level or one that can honestly break down offensive and defensive schemes in college

The games will tell, chill. The guy gave his credibility by how much he’s over average success in the betting market. I would much rather listen to him, than a bunch of know it all once-was high school players. If you don’t believe him, look at the experts: i.e. Joel Klatt, Greg McEllroy. Very successful D1 Quarterbacks for notable P5 brands in CFB. If you don’t believe them, then look at Vegas. Their livelihood depends on being as informed and accurate as possible.
